We tried several others in Australia, but they were more interested in charging us for time than what our business needs were. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now have clarity on the marketing space and how to support the sales team. We’ve grown an average of 20% per year. The marketing work Plus Your Business! has done contributed to our growth. Our objective is, and always has been, to find sustainability.

How did Plus Your Business! perform from a project management standpoint?

Our primary and most valuable experience has been with Martin. His energy, intentionality, and inquiring mind are highlights. Their support team has also been useful, but our main interactions have been with Martin.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their tenacity and clarity have been impressive. Plus Your Business! wakes up every day with our business issues in front of mind. I think their strength is in partnering rather than being a contractor. We haven’t needed to micromanage anything. Having them as an integral part of the business, as well as their flexibility when it comes to the range of cost and scope, has been valuable for us as a small business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are things we would’ve liked for them to have done differently when it comes to deeper strategy and more innovation and creativity. But from our and their perspective, we had to prioritize with the fundamentals and don’t have an unlimited budget. Plus Your Business! can do other things, but we haven’t had the resources to take us to the next level.

We have primary points of contact. However, a team behind the scenes does everything from PR stories to white papers to blogs to all those areas. Plus Your Business! has a team to support us with research, writing, and distribution as well.

How did you come to work with Plus Your Business!?

We had a previous relationship with them. I’ve known Martin (Founder, Plus Your Business!) for a while—he’s a VR enthusiast. As we worked together, Plus Your Business! came to know who we are. In the beginning, they gave us a lot of consultancy for free, which I didn’t expect. We’ve liked their hands-on, supportive approach, which led to us choosing them again for this project.
