Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm CMO at a global eshop and a sport enthusiast. As a data-driven person I was searching for a company which would help me build a mobile app for score tracking, as a side-project.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pixwell?
The web-based beta version of Scorentino was live for several years thus I had a proof of concept. I was searching for a partner who would help me scale-up via native Android & iOS apps for a reasonable cost. I've met Peter, CEO of Pixwell, who was also personally interested in this kind of app. After several meetings, we decided to found a company and develop the app together.
What were your goals for this project?
1000 global new users by the end of 2019. 40% active users (30-days) 0.5% of paying subscribers

I've posted a request online and Pixwell reached out to me with an offer of reasonable price and personal involvement of Peter.
Describe the project in detail.
I've provided a project description to Pixwell and Peter himself started designing the app. He came with several great ideas and improvements. It took 3 months to finalize the wireframes. Then Pixwell developers started developing iOS and Android native apps. After 4 month a beta version was ready. In May 2019 we went live finally and started marketing the app.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Biggest success was to get the apps live and gather initial feedback from users. We are removing some bottle-necks now and expect to upload updates in the following days. In the meantime, the app is being promoted globally
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Peter took over project management and was able to effectively delegate to Pixwell developers. We had weekly sync-ups.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Peter's offer of his own involvement was a great signal for me. He was driving the whole development and was very open-minded when thinking about the features. Their developers are well-skilled, using the most advanced technologies.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Setting the right expectations - we've had much bigger plans than the reality is Listening to feedback more carefully - whether it is feedback between us two, from our beta-testers, from users, we need to take it more seriously

I’m the co-founder and CBO of DealUnity, an internet business company. We’re focused on cloud collaborations and networking between online businesses.

We were looking for an innovative team to develop our platform as soon as possible.

They developed our web platform in a very short time, and they provided software development for the entire backend of the platform. They also performed digital marketing using Google Marketing Platform.

There are five people including a project manager.

We received them as a reference from a bank where I have good connections. We also did research on what type of company to hire for the project. Pixwell matched our expectations in terms of the pricing and timeline.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in July of 2018, and the work is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results have been good. It was quite impressive that we were able to launch our MVP in two months. There have been 586 users since we started nine months ago. We haven’t received any complaints about anything not working properly.
They met my requirements while adding some of their own innovations. Since it was successful, I’ve started another project with them. Their price was also good.
How did Pixwell perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is very good. There was nothing that impacted our business negatively.
We met 2-3 times each week in-person. We also used phone and email. We scheduled milestones for the next week. Seven out of eight times, everything was on time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re satisfied with their work. Everything was on time. They included their own innovations and solutions, which turned out to be good.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was nothing that didn’t satisfy my expectations.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Customers should participate regularly to make sure everything is done. They should meet regularly, ask questions, and ask for suggestions to make the solution better.
