We needed somebody with experience in designing webpages with good UX, and we were happy with the outcome

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

email. It was very effective. Diana was extremely quick, responsive and very easy to communicate with. The team would ask the right questions, which helped us reevaluate some of our ideas.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Efficient. And, we got the impression that Diana loved what they did. It's not just design for them, they want the message conveyed.

I'm the head of engineering at Detention Lifeline. Detention Lifeline connects detained asylum seekers with a network of community members who are willing fight alongside the detained as they undergo the process of seeking asylum.

We needed a landing page for this project. The page had to be friendly, yet urge readers to take action. It had to communicate the importance of the matter without being alarmist.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to establish a web presence on which we could begin to post content. Additionally, we needed a way to guide readers to the donation page.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for designers for months until we came across PixelsWithin. We really liked the aesthetic of the products they'd worked on and decidd to reach out.

We needed a landing page for this project. The page had to be friendly, yet urge readers to take action. It had to communicate the importance of the matter without being alarmist.

What was the team composition?

Two of team-members from tech and management worked directly with PixelsWithin interfacing over video and email.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During the course of three months, we worked with PixelsWithin to iterate over the design of a website that would serve as a landing page, featured projects, about us, and a blog. The site also linked out to our donation portal.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was highly effective. PixelsWithin has a great turnaround time on iterations and provides interactive mockups that are immediately intuitive allowing us to make decisions much more quickly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find their design knowledge and speed to be formidable. Additionally, the level of professionalism was exceptional.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None come to mind.

We wanted a modern and playful design that would echo the concept of Zenspin and its target demographics.

We've been working with Pixelswithin for years and have always been extremely happy with the word provided, so when we launched this new project, Pixelswithin was the first company that came to mind.

Once Pixelswithin had a clear understanding of our needs and the specific market we were targeting, they started working on UX/UI by providing wireframes, and a moodboard. Once we agreed on the layout and moodboard, they continued with the logo and the desktop and mobile website design, with fantastic ideas added along the way.

What was the team composition?

Diana from Pixelswithin worked on every aspect of the project development. As Zenspin co-founder and project manager, I provided the guidelines for the project. We've been working like that, in tandem, for many projects and it's always a great experience as it allows us to work fast and efficiently.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Prior from launch, we did some testing with regular users and the work done by Pixelswithin (branding, color palette, navigation) had a very positive impact on their perception of the brand. They also felt very comfortable with the interface, which is intuitive and playful.

Project management and communication went very smoothly, with regular exchanges along the every step of the process.
