I am the co-founder of a start-up company headquartered in Manchester, UK. Our project is focused on our flagship mobile app.

We decided to develop a mobile app that targets select countries. It aims to have a massive impact on a significant and growing group of companies and individuals.

Our objective was to address our target groups as effectively as possible on a mass scale.

We conducted market research and met with several vendors during our search. We found exactly what we were looking for in Pixelmate. They were a perfect fit from day one. Our companies share the same passion and attitude.

We held a few meetings with Pixelmate to discuss the scope of our project. They helped us pinpoint the best marketing channels to use to promote our product. We collaboratively designed our company’s logo. The team created wireframes to inform the design. Notably, they suggested useful ideas about marketing strategy.

We held most of our meetings with the owners of Pixelmate along with other members of the team including designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We haven’t finished the project yet. So far, we’ve been making progress with Pixelmate according to the schedule we laid out.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our communication has gone exceptionally well so far. Pixelmate collaborates with us effectively both during meetings and over email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I most value Pixelmate’s atmosphere, enthusiasm, and spirit.  We share the same values as their team

I'm the project director for MotorMate GP, a mobile app startup that provides travel guidance and information for the motorsports industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with PixelMate?

We hired PixelMate to build our mobile app from scratch. We wanted the design to be user-friendly for both our target audience as well as for our internal team, so we could easily make updates within the CMS as needed. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

PixelMate designed and developed our mobile app for both iOS and Android, working off some of our storyboarded concepts and design ideas. They provided input on how we could best achieve the UI and designed some branding elements as well, including a logo.

What is the team composition?

I work with a project manager, who manages a team of designers and developers behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with PixelMate?

A consultant I worked with previously recommended a few options to us in the Czech Republic area, including PixelMate. After meeting with them, I felt they were the most interested in our project and offered competitive pricing. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent somewhere between $30,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app PixelMate developed has received a lot of great feedback from users, as well as some large sponsors. We haven't had many bugs or issues, and they've been quick to address anything as it comes up.

How did PixelMate perform from a project management standpoint?

They've been great at managing tasks and I especially appreciate their adherence to quoted deadlines, since we work with a strict events calendar. We mostly communicate through emails and Skype, but we're also able to meet with their team in person every four to six weeks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to meet all our deadlines sets them apart–that's hard to find in the development industry.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I don't have any specific advice, but I'd definitely recommend them to others who value being able to meet with a team in person, because they're very receptive to that. Their business practices are also very friendly to the practices of Western Europe and the Americas, which makes them stand out as an option compared to a vendor elsewhere in my opinion.

I asked Pixelmate to help me with my project whivh I was starting back then - I needed to build a mobile app which would work as an international online marketplace for buying and selling watches for both iOS and Android. 

They helped me design the UI/UX, logo, built the app and helped me set everything up. They have done everything very well.

The app is complete and fully operational to spec and design.

We hired Pixelmate to create the Bikeflip Web App from the grounds up. The goal was a user-friendly, well designed and state-of-the-art CRUD app.

We found Pixelmate through some Google research and ultimately decided for them because of their agile, sprint-based approach and their focus on Start-up projects.

After providing a wireframe prototype from our side, Pixelmate took over the project and delivered a beautiful design that was mobile ready and user-friendly. From there, we specified a MVP, which was delivered from Pixelmate. Afterwards, we iterated on the app with a sprint-based approach.

Pixelmate programmed the entire app and website. They’ve been helpful throughout the decision process and shaping the app around my vision. They were highly supervised but they also became mentors on the project.

Though the app is still being developed, I am entirely satisfied with the current performance.

It would be great if Pixelmate offered a service connecting startups with potential investors. They have great connections in various areas.
