What challenge were you trying to address with PIXEL?

I was looking for help to manage my website as well as other media-related services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

PIXEL manages my website and provides updates as needed. The website includes my information, locations of my plays, and newsletters. Their team edits videos of readings and stage performances to post for my site visitors. In addition, PIXEL handles all of my media, press releases, and Facebook page.

What is the team composition?

I work with two people from their team who are specialized in web design and copywriting.

How did you come to work with PIXEL?

I met them when they handled some media for a previous project I worked on.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent between $4,200–$4,800. I pay them around $600 a year, depending on the amount of work that year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around June 2013, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I previously worked with a different media company that cost much more than PIXEL. I’ve measured PIXEL’s quality against that company. Overall, they’re great and they offer an all-inclusive fee for their services rather than requiring payments for individual tasks. PIXEL has saved me a lot of headaches because they deal with the small details, such as renewing my webpage.

How did PIXEL perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done a fine job. We usually collaborate a week before deadlines to make sure all the new information is ready. There were times when I gave them updates on short notice, and they still worked to make deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really appreciate that they work around my timeline. The PIXEL team goes the extra mile to make me feel valued as a customer. For example, when they see that I have something new happening, they reach out and ask if I’d like to add it to the website or Facebook. I really like that they give input without being pushy when we discuss webpage designs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend them completely. They’re very reliable.
