I’m a senior logistics manager at Spark Iraq LTD, a general trading company.

We needed help with our logistics and transportation services.

PIRIS ROAD provides us with logistics services, including general transportation and international transportation from worldwide locations like Great Britain, Spain, France, Italy, Egypt, and Germany. They provide us with LTL and FTL services, including full and less-than-full containers from Europe, Asia, and Africa. They also help us with warehousing services.

What is the team composition?

We work with 3–4 teammates from PIRIS ROAD, including a fleet manager, an operations manager, and a financial manager.

How did you come to work with PIRIS ROAD?

We were already working with them when they changed their name from Eagle Cargo to PIRIS ROAD.

What is the status of this engagement?

They changed their name to PIRIS ROAD around January 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re satisfied with PIRIS ROAD's work. They provide us with 80–100 shipments monthly, and sometimes we have to deliver 150–200 shipments per month.

How did PIRIS ROAD perform from a project management standpoint?

We ask them for quotes and confirm the shipment once we check the market. We communicate via email and WhatsApp. For every request, they reply back within 15–60 minutes. We also ask them for updates whenever we have an urgent shipment because they have an advanced tracking system. Moreover, we check our financials on a monthly basis.

Recently, we received a shipment with damaged goods worth around $17,000. This wasn't necessarily caused by the shipment; it was an issue with the product management in Italy. The truck cost was $5,400. Still, they compensated us the $17,000; three times more than the truck service.

We don’t have any problems with their team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a small company, but they do a great job. They have great rates, and they try to get us the best rates possible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they can improve on. I can't recall any issues or problems.
