I’m the marketing manager at Henne Jewelers, and I oversee all aspects of our traditional and digital marketing.

What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to increase revenue and improve our online presence. We hoped to achieve this by raising our organic search rankings and expanding our digital marketing efforts.

I had worked with Pittsburgh Internet Consulting for several years with a former employer, and that partnership went very well. After vetting a few other options, we decided to choose them to fill our needs.

Pittsburgh Internet Consulting supports our business in a variety of ways, including website development, e-commerce strategy, SEO, content development, email outreach, social media campaigns, and paid search advertising. Their team puts together plans for each area and executes according to a set timeline. They've helped us with content analysis, web design, image creation, and placement targeting. They also do all of our reporting and analytics to track our progress in each segment.
What was the team composition?
They’ve assigned a team of six to work closely on our account. Jeff (President, Pittsburgh Internet Consulting) is involved at least weekly, if not daily. Brad (Inbound Marketing Consultant, Pittsburgh Internet Consulting) is our account manager and oversees our SEO, content development, and e-commerce strategy. Trista (Internet Marketing Consultant, Pittsburgh Internet Consulting) manages our social media efforts. Three other team members provide design work for our site and support our digital marketing initiatives.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
In 2018, our total website visits increased by 41%, and our email marketing traffic grew by 344%. Also, social media now drives over 2,500 users to our site every month. Our Facebook likes are up by 43%, and our number of Instagram followers went from 992 to over 2,200. Due to this rise in customer engagement, we’ve added 83 reviews on Google, nearly doubling our total. We’ve also maintained and improved the organic keywords that we track.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Pittsburgh Internet Consulting acts as a true partner for my team. We use project management software to assess each area of their service, and their team is quick to exchange feedback and reach out for approval when they have ideas. They’ve always managed to complete tasks on time, and there is also a smooth flow of communication between our teams. If there is ever a hold-up, it’s usually on our end.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are more than an agency; they’re a partner who is concerned first and foremost with providing the best digital marketing services for the long term. They are incredibly responsive, fair with their pricing, and willing to do what’s necessary to meet every need. They’re also forthcoming and honest with their opinions, which has helped us make decisions for our business.
Are there any areas for improvement?
At times when we’ve felt they could have done something better, we’ve had an open discussion, and they’ve come up with a plan to improve their service. They continue to elevate their team and resources to deliver high-quality work.
