I am the owner of an oil tracking company that specializes in electronic ticketing systems for the gas industry.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Phase 2?

We wanted to create a mobile platform for in-field crude oil ticketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Phase 2 wrote all of the code for an iOS mobile platform for iPads with web portal access. The app assists with crude oil ticketing in remote areas by allowing users to track their usage. Their team continues to support the platform.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a project manager and a team of developers.

How did you come to work with Phase 2?

I was looking to partner with a local firm to avoid any language barriers and ultimately landed on Phase 2.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $1 million–$9 million on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from September 2011–January 2013, but they still provide support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

An estimated 800 members in the oil industry use Phase 2’s app.

How did Phase 2 perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team was excellent. We communicated mainly via emails, phone calls, and a project management software.

Any advice for potential customers?

Clients should thoroughly discuss the scope of the project with Phase 2 because they are a valuable resource.
