Éphémère Creative built the V2 of the app from scratch, working with the design team to plan features and infrastructure. They helped transition the platform from a PaaS to a more cost effective and scalable cloud provider configuration. They developed integrations with our shipping solution and payment solution.

Éphémère Creative helped us rebuild our mobile app and underlying infrastructure and technology from the ground up, focusing on making it more maintainable and a better overall structure. They successfully migrated our infrastructure to a more resilient cloud provider.

There were a couple planned release dates which served as the deadlines we were working towards, and they met those deadlines. They communicated effectively through Slack and email, with regular video meetings and occasional in-person visits. They adapted quickly to our changing requirements.

The standout aspects of Éphémère Creative’s service were the quality of the technology, their ability to pivot quickly and adapt to changing requirements, and their implementation of designs that stayed true to the original vision. They also thought through the business implications of the technology, providing valuable feedback and helping move the process forward

Are there any areas for improvement or something Éphémère Creative could have done differently?

There were no significant challenges other than circumstances which required changes in our requirements, which were handled well. A more structured feature request and approval process might have made this process a bit smoother, though the existing process also worked well

EffProp’s goal is to help the Canadian real estate market easily embrace the transition towards sustainable housing. We believe that the involvement of real estate brokers and agents is of uttermost importance in the efforts to accelerate the growth of the EE housing sector.

Implementation of proprietary algorithm and ranking system. Design and implementation of data synchronization system. Design and development of dashboard user interface. Integration with proprietary machine learning systems.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The application was successfully converted and migrated to new cloud vendors. The proprietary algorithm was correctly implemented and tested. The dashboard was created and usable by end users. The time to sync data was dramatically cut down as well as server costs. Machine learning system successfully integrated and usable from dashboard.

Deliverables were either completed on time or delays were properly communicated and planned for. EC responded to and accommodated our needs appropriately as they evolved.

We asked Éphémère Creative to design, develop and maintain our website. We needed a place to host our portfolio and some information about ourselves and our work. Since we work in visual media we wanted our website to be beautiful, clean and functionally solid - viewers coming to our website needed as little barriers as possible to access our content, embedded from various sources in varying formats.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Working with Raph at Éphémère Creative was such a rare, perfect collaboration. We went into it thinking we "just needed a website", but we quickly realized, working with EC was going to provide us with creative development that was much more all-encompassing.

Our vision and our portfolio have become more structured and streamlined, without any clutter whatsoever and the website is held to the high standards of visual aesthetics that we hold our own work to. It's helped us be even more proud of our work and excited to share it with the world. Very frequently we get positive feedback about our website from clients, friends and visitors alike. It's also really to use and EC is extremely responsive and helpful if any maintenance is required.

Perfect. On all levels. Everything was ready within the discussed time-frames. Everything was communicated very clearly and nicely. Even to this day, with the occasional question, update or maintenance that happens to the website, the collaboration with EC is fast, efficient and simply wonderful.

Our goal was to develop a prototype application to read data from a sensor, assign the data packages to a specific user or job and visualize the data in a flexible dashboard to allow for monitoring and report generation. Key deliverables included a system for user authentication, database for data storage, visualization and data manipulation tools and a useable UI/UX.

Our measurable were mostly timeline driven in terms of getting the application from early prototype to an MVP. We hit all of our milestones with ease.

Items were always delivered on time, and they do a great job managing expectations in terms of amount of time to complete technical tasks. Response was always quick, including Slack messaging and arranging ad-hoc meetings about the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our goal was to get to an MVP, the team were able to discuss at a high level the technical challenges and uncertainties, to clearly define in and out of scope work and to be flexible about ways to complete tasks during the project (ie. use of different methods, third party softwares, etc.). Ultimately, we had a great experience with prototyping the web application and getting it to the point where it could be used functionally and undergo user testing and feedback.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Éphémère Creative could have done differently?

There were some minor misunderstandings at a few phases of the project which might have been helped by more wire framing or "looks like" prototyping and discussion, but ultimately we wanted speed to useable so we sacrificed some of the slower, more cautious steps to achieve that.
