In March 2023, we embarked on a journey with Peiko to bring our vision of a comprehensive DeFi web platform to life. While the project is still under development, the progression has been notable. Here's a detailed outline of the ongoing work: 

1. Technical Documentation: At the outset, Peiko took the initiative to craft precise technical documentation that describes the project’s specifications, architecture, and functional requirements. This blueprint will be instrumental throughout the development process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Peiko has done frontend and backend development to build our website from scratch. We initially provided them with documentation and scheduled calls to explain the project. We shared a GitHub repository with some examples of decks so they’d be inspired for the project. Additionally, we provided the designs for the interface; they were pretty simple because they were a copy of another software. From there, we didn’t have to explain much to them.

We started working on the fork of PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange based on decentralized technology; this decentralized exchange also has Lunchbox and Farms. Peiko’s team has skills in Figma, so they’ve had to take the code from Figma and put it into Visual Basic. The project's purpose is to let investors trade tokens in a decentralized manner. Users can also provide liquidity for the liquidity pools on decks.

Currently, we’re giving them new tasks. In the future, we’ll work on a chart tool, which is basically an application where users can check different tokens and their prices and value.

How did Peiko perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re good at organizing the work and communicating. We have many calls and meetings with them through Google Meet, and there aren’t any barriers; everything is clear from both sides. Peiko also works in two-week sprints, and they deliver on time. We haven’t had any delays, so we’re very satisfied with them.

Moreover, the budget has been clear from the beginning, which is a great point for them. We’ve had experiences in the past where people send us invoices increasing the budget, saying they forgot to add things to the development scope. However, Peiko is very transparent.
