Please describe your company and your position there.

Netwurk.co is an Influencer marketing platform that connects Influencers with Brands and Business to work collaboratively on a variety of social media marketing campaigns. I am the Founder and MD for the business.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire PDStudio?

The UI designs for our platform did not look great and lacked visual appeal as well as poor layout. We hired Konrad to focus specifically on the UI for our Influencers, Businesses and Campaigns pages on our platform. Our aim was to have a modern, sleek, user friendly design and feel that would appeal to both Influencers and Businesses.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I researched UI web designers that have previously done design work specifically for Influencer marketing platforms. The reason for this is I felt they would have a much greater understanding on look, layout and the various social media information required in the design. I was thoroughly impressed with Konrad's portfolio so I opted to reach out to him to offer him this project.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

As Konrad had previously created designs for an Influencers profile he understood our requirements straight away. He reviewed our existing designs to understand the content and information required and I answered any additional questions he had. He grasped what we were after immediately and set about creating some initial designs for us, which we reviewed and made slight changes here and there by working collaboratively.

I worked closely with Konrad specifically on this project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are very pleased with the designs created by Konrad and his team. The UI was business critical for us because if the design of our platform isn't appealing then it would impact the Influencer sign up rate, which would have a knock on affect on Business sign ups. We couldn't be happier, the designs are perfect and fit our vision completely.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Konrad was very accessible via WhatsApp and email. We were kept up to date constantly regarding design stages and were given a link to view all designs in one place. The project was delivered on time and exceeded our expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How quickly they understood and grasped our UI design vision. The very first designs shown only required very small changes before we signed them off!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing springs to mind, the whole process from initial brief to completion was smooth, efficient and effortless. Very Impressed :)

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re a software company that helps other companies hire and assess tech talent in their pipeline. I’m the general manager. I work with our CEO and freelancers to help build, design and run the site.

What challenge were you trying to address with PDStudio?

We wanted to overhaul the entire site in response to customer feedback since the original platform couldn’t sustain all of the features we wanted to add.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with PDStudio to revamp our entire site. First, they helped us with high-level discovery. Then, they iterated on mockups prototypes. Next, they got into the nitty-gritty details of the UI/UX and helping us iterate through it. We did the actual development, but they provided QA.

We worked with one person from their team.

How did you come to work with PDStudio?

We got an introduction to PDStudio through another agency we’d worked with in the past.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $20,000 – $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in June 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our customers and internal team have been really satisfied. Additionally, our reviews on software review sites have gone up, along with the mentions of the interface.

How did PDStudio perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re really good. We use Figma, which is really great because it lets us collaborate in real-time. They’re also in our Slack channel as well, which is really great for project management; it helps us work on a modern tech stack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

You get their expertise as well; they’re not just order takers. You tell them what recommendation you have and they’ll give you an opinion based on best practices.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re very happy with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re more of a partner than a service provider. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for industry best practices and recommendations, they’d be a good fit. If you’re looking for someone to turn your hand drawing into a design, it’s probably not them. They’re more of a partner from a strategic level.
