We have operated on old Wix site and Carbonmade portfolio site for a long time. Those grew to be outdated and no longer could service our business needs. From a recommendation from a trusted friend. We hired Anatoli and Elizabeth to build us new business website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Deciding factor for us was the recommendation from a trusted friend who we have known for a long time. The family friend had opportunity to work with them on a prior project.

I am not sure about tech used, But the scope was to intergrade close to a thousand images over multiple galleries with the pop-ups that would hold two images, buttons, and text. It was also crucial for us to be able to edit the site and make additions and now we access/edit most of the content in user-friendly admin panel. Project was completed in 4 stages, design and layout, domain and hosting setup, data upload, and content revisions.

2 people worked with us. I am not sure about the positions, I think they worked as a team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We had no time constraints or deadlines for the milestones, however deliverables where done in timely manner and resolved all the revisions and edits.

On this project workflow was a bit of a collaboration due to our need for specific design and absence of time constraints. Communication was conducted via phone, email and in person. We would discuss things needed to be done, they would work on it. We would meet every week over a cup of tea to go over the site, how it looks what needs to be done, and making decisions on how to resolve design and technical chooses and issues until the site was shipped.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
For me it is very important to have a reasonable person who can resolve problems issues and misunderstandings in a respectful way, because everyone reveals who they are only in the trying circumstances.
Example: Close to shipping the site we ran into some major design flaws that needed resolving. They met and listened to us to discuss ways to take care of the changes with minimal adjustments to the budget. even-though site was considered finished.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
For us it was important to visualize the whole site during the design stage, too imagine how the site will look and represents our business. Along with our discussion I wish they would provide more visual aids and examples of similar site designs, galleries and features to help us to visualize the end product and avoid misunderstandings. More visual aids for us the better.

After we singed up the proposal they do prove me with the project manager- who leads my project of website development from the beggining till the end, with whom we discusses our goals and deadline. After that they provide me design of the main page on the website.
Once we choose the blocks which will be on the main page, we discusses extra pages of the website, they finalized the design and the content of them - I gave my feedback throw the email with approvemt. This allows me to show them how I wanted the rest of the side to look.
The vendor came back to me with designs of other pages including the "transport calculator" form.

The project manager was easy to communicate and be in contact with, she always got feedback about the work on time + we agreed to meet once a week where we discussed all the details of the project at each stage.

I was really excited to work with CG because they show themelves from a real professional side. I was overwhelmed by all the knowledge of website design, development, and optimization. We had phone calls meeting weekly + most of the feedbacks was through email.
They focused with deadline of each step.

things could be done faster, but because of my business, we rescheduled some meetings to discuss the project. and, nevertheless, quality is more important than speed, so we ended up with a modern and cool product.
