Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the general manager of SYGMA, an e-commerce platform that provides a unique buying experience where people can come in groups to get products at lower prices. We’re based in Saudi Arabia, but we’re looking to expand and cover the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
What challenge were you trying to address with PandoSoft?
We needed help with custom software development and UI/UX design, so we hired PandoSoft.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, PandoSoft focused on understanding our business and what we were looking for, for which we provided them with a document that described our business type. From there, they designed and developed the entire platform from scratch, integrating various systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and order management systems (OMS).
Currently, PandoSoft provides us with maintenance and hosting services, and they handle everything related to DevOps. As for the technology stack, they’ve used JavaScript, AWS, and Flutter for development and Figma for UI/UX design.

We’ve worked with around 10 people from PandoSoft, including senior software developers, mobile developers, and web developers.
How did you come to work with PandoSoft?
We met them through a referral. During the vetting process, we were looking for a company with experience and specific competencies, so when we met PandoSoft, we were convinced they had the right competencies for the project. From there, we shared some documents with them and had a couple of meetings to clarify what we were looking for.

We began our partnership in Q1 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

PandoSoft’s commitment to our priorities and full understanding of our project are the main success metrics. Their team has completely customized our software and met our expectations — we’re impressed with their work. Moreover, our team has had a very positive response to PandoSoft’s designs; they really like them.
How did PandoSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
PandoSoft is very professional and flexible, and they give me clear deadlines for the tasks they work on. They’re also very committed to our timelines, and they’ve delivered tasks on time. Moreover, they’re very responsive to fixing bugs whenever we find them.
PandoSoft has been very agile at integrating into our systems. Currently, we use Jira, Confluence, and GitHub for project management, as well as Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, email, and phone to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
PandoSoft has a full understanding of my business, and their commitment, knowledge, and extensive experience make it easy to work with them. Additionally, their responsiveness to bugs and our suggestions is impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have no constructive feedback for PandoSoft; they’ve delivered what I was looking for.
