She began her career in the accounting department of Lawry's Foods Company in Los Angeles and then moved on to a Senior Accountant position at Trader Joe's Corporation. As computers came on the scene, Pam consulted with a number of Pasadena medical practices to establish computing systems for their records and accounting and began providing digital accounting guidance to business owners with the release of the very first edition of Quicken followed shortly by Quickbooks.
