Introduce your business and what you do there. My company is called Foster City Oral Surgery Specialist, and I'm the office manager.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Pact-One Solutions, LLC? Pact-One Solutions, LLC provides us with managed IT services. Our goal was to decrease any technical stress by having someone in charge of our IT systems.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement? Pact-One Solutions, LLC handles everything related to our IT, including solving problems, making network connections, answering questions related to our phone lines and website, and solving computer issues in general. Whenever we need support with our systems, we just call them, and they send a technician over or provide remote support to take care of the problem.
Pact-One Solutions, LLC also protects our software systems. Whenever we find viruses or something that looks suspicious, they connect remotely and take care of the issue for us. Their team also helps us purchase and install software programs as needed. For example, we got a new laptop for our office, and they helped us install all the programs we had on our regular computers onto the new laptop, allowing us to work remotely when needed.
Pact-One Solutions, LLC has also installed printers and scanners for us. Recently, they did a full system update, replacing four computers in our office. For this project, they let us know which computers were outdated and which ones were no longer able to function as we needed them to function. Ultimately, they replaced two surgery room computers and two front-staff computers.
What is the team composition? We work with Shawn (Field Service Technician), as he's the technician Pact-One Solutions, LLC regularly sends out to fix things for us on site. We also work with Ryan (Technical Account Manager), the teammate who usually connects remotely to our systems to solve issues. How did you come to work with Pact-One Solutions, LLC? They were already working with my company when I joined.
How much have you invested with them? We spend around $10,000–$15,000 per year. What is the status of this engagement? We started working together around June 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Working with Pact-One Solutions, LLC has been stress-relieving because, when things are malfunctioning, they take care of the problem for us. In the last two years that I've been with my company, their success is ongoing. They're really helpful in solving any questions and IT issues. Moreover, the quality of their work is top-tier.
How did the company perform from a project management standpoint? Pact-One Solutions, LLC delivers work on time and within budget. Moreover, they communicate well with us. We have a ticket management tool called ConnectWise that they've installed on our computers. Using this tool, we simply press a button and tell them what the problem is, and a service ticket is automatically sent to them. Usually, one of their teammates reaches out to us within 10–30 minutes regarding the ticket, and someone is assigned to us to help us through the problem.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? I would like to give a shout-out to Shawn. What did you find most impressive about them? Pact-One Solutions, LLC's strength is that they get the job done in a timely manner. Are there any areas they could improve? Pact-One Solutions, LLC could improve the consistency in their assignments. Sometimes, they assign new teammates to support us, who are not 100% sure how our office is running. This situation causes small miscommunication issues, as those teammates don't exactly know what we need them to do. Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs? Be consistent in the communication with Pact-One Solutions, LLC. They're very helpful, so don't be afraid to ask them every little question — that's why they're there.

Pact-One provides us with IT services, cybersecurity, and everything related to computers. They provide online support but also visit us in person if needed.
They do everything that can be done online; they log in and fix any concerns or problems we have. If they need to fix something in the office, they usually get it done right away. Pact-One has also installed hardware and software for me multiple times. They take care of cybersecurity, too, so I don’t have to think about it.
What is the team composition?
I mainly work with Shawn (Technical Services Engineer). He’s my go-to guy whenever I need something to be done.
How much have you invested with them?
Within the last four months, we’ve spent around $6,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2011, and the engagement is ongoing.

We have relied on Pact-One from the beginning of our start up. They maintain our network, troubleshoot and solve issues, as well as consult on future tech investments. Cybersecurity is also an important focus for us in the dental field and Pact-One keeps us safe and informed.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
In our case, we are speaking of a day-to-day maintenance of our networks, so the success is reflected every day that we operate without errors .Relying on a highly digital workflow, if our networks did not operate successfully, we would not be able to produce the volume that we achieve in our practice.

Any issue that comes up is triaged for appropriate response time. If it is something that will/would shut down operations or hinder us from patient care in a timely manner, we get an immediate response. If it is something in our software that isn't an emergency, we will receive a call that same day but not in the same amount of time as a workflow issue.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Going from a small IT company to a corporation scared us because we knew all of the team members from the previous company and since they set up our office, they understood our set up. We were worried that we would become just a number in a large company and lose the personalized service.
There were a few hiccups initially, but I was happily surprised how quickly Pact-One responded to my feedback and corrected the issues. It has been fantastic ever since! We could not be happier with the service we receive and the response we get when we need help.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Pact-One Solutions, LLC could have done differently?
I am happy to say that we don't have any suggestions for improvement. Anything that has come up in the past has immediately been addressed. We recommend Pact-One to anyone who seeks tech support.
