A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a doggy daycare, boarding, breeding, and training facility.
What challenge were you trying to address with Pacific Creative Group?
We needed help developing our site.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us transition from a website that wasn’t professional. The old site had multiple pages that we wanted to consolidate into one website so we didn’t overwhelm our viewers. The team helped us create a new WordPress site with a professional template and more functionality.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Gurinder (Partner).
How did you come to work with Pacific Creative Group?
I created a post online looking for someone to develop my website. Gurinder called me and told me all the things that were wrong with their site and what they could offer.
I was already in business and didn’t need someone that was going to take 6 weeks to get where I needed to be. They promised that they could get it ready in 3 weeks. Their templates were also nice.
How much have you invested with them?
I spent $400.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2020, and I stopped using them in February 2020. I didn’t even tell them that I switched to another provider.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They overpromised and under-delivered. The product was nice but their follow-up service didn’t follow the price tag. I think I was happy with the site initially. What I wasn’t happy with was their poor customer service.
How did Pacific Creative Group perform from a project management standpoint?
They asked me to put all corrections I needed to the site in a Google Doc. That process was very slow and inefficient. Because they worked so slowly, I decided to make the changes to the site myself.
One time, I needed a button included with a link. When I tried to include it, I was locked out of the site. At the time, we had an event that required that button work for registration. They told me they’d take care of it the next day (Sunday). By Monday, they told me that the button wasn’t an emergency and they wouldn’t have it done until Thursday. I told them I’d find a new hosting provider if they didn’t get the button to work since the event was Friday.
I would have done it myself if they didn’t revoke my access to my own site. That was the last straw. I moved my site over to a new host. Now, my landing pages aren’t connecting and the links aren’t working.
This wasn’t the only case of poor service. Every time I had an issue, I sent them multiple screenshots; They never looked at them and I always needed to provide more screenshots. I never received comprehensive help. After I got my final payment, everything was rushed. They never fully followed through anymore.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their sales pitch was great but the total package wasn’t what they said it would be. Gurinder captured the vibe I was going for with the template he provided. Because I needed the template quickly, I didn’t have time to do research on several templates. He definitely got me the best one. They offered great service until they got paid completely. After they got paid, the service was awful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Sometimes communication was hostile because there was a lot of frustration. I would get very irritated with them and Gurinder would get frustrated with me. He made me send him things in a special format. If I complained more, he wouldn’t send me anything. It was unpleasant to be that irritated all the time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to do your research on their pricing. I could’ve gotten the same service for less. I should’ve gone with a bigger company that cared more about their reputation. Smaller companies don’t have the staff to keep up with their promises.

Digital Marketing for Construction Company
"We're getting more website hits than ever before."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the owner of a renovations company. We do small to full-size renovations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Pacific Creative Group ?
We wanted to get new avenues for leads in general.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started without much of an online presence. When Pacific Creative Group started, they suggested SEO efforts. They also optimized social media and Instagram for us, to have it look appropriate when people look us up. Overall, they're helping us build an image and give us a perspective on who we should be targeting.
What is the team composition?
We have one main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Pacific Creative Group ?
I came across them through a friend and they had a genuinely positive attitude that was nice to see.
How much have you invested with them?
We've invested $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in September 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We're getting more website hits than ever before. We're seeing dozens of hits by the end of each week.
How did Pacific Creative Group perform from a project management standpoint?
They've been great, and we've had no complaints about their project management whatsoever.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They knew how to figure out, based on the work I do, which platform I should be investing more of my time, money, and energy in. That's when I knew they were specialists.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not so far.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to understand that this isn't an immediate fix to your problems, it's more of a long-term plan. You won't see hundreds and hundreds of dollars at the end of the first month. This is something you have to make a 6-12 month plan to really shape your business.

SEO & PPC for Customer Home Builder
"The team is very young, hungry, and proactive."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and director of Homes By Engineers. We provide custom home building and renovation services to our clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with Pacific Creative Group?
In our industry, we do only a few projects every year. We wanted to get our product in front of more customers to generate more leads and calls.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Pacific Creative Group provides SEO and PPC services for our company. They’ve done keyword research and implemented some changes in our website’s backend to improve our rankings on Google. They also manage our Google Ads account and make recommendations for what content we should post on our website.
What is the team composition?
I have one point of contact. They may lead a team behind the scenes, but I don’t interact with that team.
How did you come to work with Pacific Creative Group?
When I spoke with the team, their offer just sounded convincing. Pacific Creative Group didn’t have a lot of online presence that I could check and review. But I had faith in them, and that faith paid out.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in January 2019 and is ongoing.
While I can’t speak to any hard numbers, we’re getting a lot more calls thanks to
Pacific Creative Group’s work. Our company shows up on the first page for some targeted keywords like “custom home builder.” Because more potential clients find us online, we’ve gone from chasing customers to having so much business that we turn down projects.
How did Pacific Creative Group perform from a project management standpoint?
Pacific Creative Group does an excellent job from this perspective. I prefer to keep in touch through phone calls, and I only check in to make sure the work is getting done and going well. As soon as I started seeing results and more leads come in, I was satisfied. I haven’t really thought of managing their work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team is very young, hungry, and proactive. We never feel like they forget about us—they know that they need customers in order to survive as a company, and it shows.
Are there any areas they could improve?
While I feel like everyone can improve in some way, I can’t think of anything specific for Pacific Creative Group. I’m happy with their services.
Any advice for potential customers?
Don’t hesitate to invest money in SEO. It’s really important for any business.
Pacific Creative Group provided subpar service for their client. The team took several days to implement changes. Sometimes, they even refused to implement changes unless certain conditions were met. Their client felt that Pacific Creative Group over promised and under-delivered.
