Girlossip is a media company, we produce content for girls. Girlossip is a content-rich and women-oriented blog, suitable for all. I am the cofounder and chief editor of Girlossip.

For what projects/services did your company hire Oyelabs Technologies?

We wanted to grow our userbase through a mobile app, and start a subscription service for our customers. Since mobile apps have gained popularity, we wanted to monetize on the trend and create a new revenue source for us.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals is to build a new content distribution channel and grow our audience through a mobile app. We also want to launch our subscription service to generate revenue through the app.

I was referred to Oyelabs and its founder Anurag by a friend. Also we evaluated the market competitors.

After having tested the technical skills of each development agency we chose Oyelabs as they fulfilled the requirements technically and financially. We trust the company as it helped with our website as well earlier.

Describe the project in detail.

The project is to create a new content distribution platform for our readers and giving them a good experience while using our app. The most important thing for us is the Ui/Ux of our app.

It took us about 2 weeks to finalize the design and technology stack to be used. It was important to us that it becomes very easy to post content both on our website and mobile app, and the app design is built in lines with our website.

During the second week the development team started working on the front-end of the app. We chose to build a hybrid app with React native, this kept our costs low and gave us an advantage of early launch on both android and IOS.

The team is currently working on the backend of the app and we are expecting to launch in the March.

What was the team composition?

5 team members are working on the project. We have one designer, 3 developers and Santosh as our project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So far they have delivered everything on time. The timeline we set for the project is being followed strictly. The user interface looks beautiful and we are on our way to lauch In March 2021.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication is flexible and easy. Whatsapp as the main medium of communicating and Trello for task management.

I contact Santosh frequently through WhatsApp and he keeps me updated with everything thats going on, we also have a weekly meeting with the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They love the work they do, the team is willing to put in their ideas even if they might have to work more. They have met all deadlines and this level of dedication is hard to find.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think they are perfect.

Our's is a high volume database listing platform that is based on a web platform. We need a private app for our business to manage the profile of our listing by a mobile phone application to make Adding, Removing, Editing, Upload images faster.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals were to make Listening easier, faster, uploading images by phone camera. Editing or removing listings faster. No need to turn on the laptop repetitively on travel to do minor things. To view, download and share listing information on a company private app.

We had got a reference from our friend that Oyelabs did a great job for him and after checking the market prices. We chose Oyelabs because it was price effective and trustworthy.

The project was simple. It needed to fulfill our goals. Started in January 2020 it was started with Anurag and Ashmeet understanding our goals and requirements all in a documented form.

We did not pay for UX/UI as it was a private app for company internal use only. The app was built on Native platforms Android Studio and Swift. The App works flawlessly and very light, with only 30 MB.

Our goals were kept in mind when designing the app and thus each milestone delivered the goal one by one. We received the app in July 2020. They were tested by Anurag and the team followed by our testing.

Anurag and Ashmeet were the face of the project, the rest of the development team did a high-quality job. Satisfied with the app that they made.

The project was simple and developed as requested. All our requirements were catered to. The outcomes were as follows. Listing speed was improved almost by 50% retrieving data was improved, uploading images improved by 100%, and flow of information in the company was improved by 100%

The communication was flexible and easy. Whatsapp as the main medium of communicating and Trello for task management

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were referred to me by word of mouth which is itself very impressive. Anurag was patient enough to bear with my regular call. The team delivered the app the way I imagined it for my business.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I wish it was a shorter timeline as we were eager to get the app, although 7 months of patience were fruitful.

Our first objective was to launch a website and a mobile application for both android and ios users. The scope was upgraded to marketing services as well later. The website is live today and it has a simple yet effective user interface.

We used to connect with the project manager almost every week. We had meetings with the whole team working on our project. Including our project manager, a total of five team members contributed to our project.

The application is up and running well. There were some hiccups during the project but overall everything went without a hitch. The team has already fixed most of the issues. We achieved our target goals in the end.

The project manager was experienced and we used to receive regular updates. We used to connect almost every week at our scheduled time to share our inputs and feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We had a great experience with these guys. Overall, everything went smooth. They knew what they were doing and they understood what we wanted. We appreciated the inputs we used to get about things we could add to make this a better platform for users.

I am happy with their contribution. I would say if testing can be done faster it would be a bonus. Overall satisfied with the work.

The project was to launch an eCommerce for Bathroom Fittings and Fixture by Mode of Website and Mobile Applications.

To list our products online, make it easy for our vendors to describe the product to clients so they can order them easily from home. We provided them the goals and Anurag and the team had consulted us very well with the Operations and Tech stack. The website was e-commerce.

Mobile Apps were native. (Android & IOS). Also, I will receive the entrepreneur success program as I was eligible for it. begins from December 2020

What was the team composition?

Our 1st line of contact was Mr. Ashmeet. He warmly introduced us to the concept we were looking for and their technological aspects. He is a very knowledgeable person He introduced us to Mr. Anurag Jain, Founder, and CEO - Oyelabs Technologies- He helped in the consultation part and was our project manager too. I received my website, Apps, and the Admin Panels in the last week of November 2020 as promised by Oyelabs. The apps were tested by team Oyelabs and myself too.

They work well for now. and products have started being listed on our platform going public by mid-December The best part is the UX/Ui of the App which was designed in 2020 itself they provided be a fresh UI which is really impressive

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was smooth we used WhatsApp for instant communication with our project manager Anurag Trello was used for task management. They were fast in responding and prioritized me. Communication, all in all, was easy and good.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Anurag and Ashmeet were not trying to sell anything to me, they just guided me. That was the best part of the team. Every other company was just focused on my budget range, but Oyelabs was focused on quality.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only area of improvement I suggest is to invest in marketing. you guys are hard to find on the internet. Your quality is really good, but what use if people have a hard time knowing about you.

The team we had interacted with Mr. Ashmeet and Mr. Anurag only. Ashmeet reached out to us and Anurag was our project Manager. We did not interact with anyone else, and it was not needed either. Ashmeet was very helpful and flexible. He helped us make informed decisions and Anurag helped us making our thing easy with his app development skills

When we received the prototype in April 2020 we were 80% close to the needed App. The Bugs and errors were removed till the next 3 months and the product was completely tested and good to use. We have been using this app now for 4 months and it helped us a lot during the Work from Home era.

All the communication was made easy with this app. We noticed increased productivity of team, reduced time on unproductive things, reduced burden on paper, saving a lot of paper and helping environment.

Moreover reduced in losses as all the financials were well recorded and the debtors and creditors were made easy to handle. My burden as an accountant has reduced a lot personally after the integration of this App

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Me being the project incharge from Rolling Tigers Academy Academy. I had simple and effective communication with Anurag over phone call. No complains about it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They understood our pain points of the operations, as we have over 700 students we had a difficult time managing Ashmeet and Anurag came up with excellent ideas and solutions, which I believe no one else would have guided us with. It gave us a sense of a responsible agency from their part.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No one is perfect, everyone has flaws but notice worth noticing. The only improvement I suggest to Oyelabs Technologies is to increase their team size to finish projects fast.
