I’m the director of outreach at a lead generation site for insurance providers. Consumers go to various sites in our portfolio and request quotes. From there, the lead gets sent to the provider, and the provider compensates us that way.

I provided them with sheets that prioritized our pages and the agreed-upon metrics. From there, their scope was solely focused on backlinking.

OutreachCrayon helped us build 125 links with a domain authority average of 63 for the pages we provided them with, ultimately helping those pages rank better for their relevant keywords.

How did OutreachCrayon perform from a project management standpoint?

OutreachCrayon’s project management was good. When we signed the contract, we agreed on the project’s timeframe and the number of links we would get per month.

To manage results, we used a Google Sheets spreadsheet where their team put the links achieved. Whenever they added new links to the spreadsheet, the person in charge of link building tagged me for me to be aware of those. Moreover, whenever we had issues, the project manager would address them. Besides the G Suite, we used email to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I first reached out to OutreachCrayon, the salesperson was very responsive and kind. They provided me with thorough answers to my questions and detailed information. Additionally, they were willing to customize the project according to my needs and offered good and quick communication, which was outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

OutreachCrayon underperformed in their time management. They did what they said they would, but it took them three times the length of time they estimated initially.

Items have been delivered in time and with a lot of knowledge shared on different impacts to rankings like Google Core updates, health score, backlink profile.
