We were in need of an animated explainer video for the outwrite.ai website, and to use in marketing campains. Additionally, we requested two 'cut-downs' for additional marketing repurposing. We had a set budget and desired timeline for completion. We had looked at several agencies before deciding on Olly and his team. The production and review process was simple, edits were easy to make, his team's follow ups were always prompts, and each deadline was hit. We received the completed explainer video, two repurposed versions, and several static images that we've used for various marketing and demand generation purposes. We're absolutely thrilled!

2)      A one-minute animation which explains how CSP membership opens doors to a wide range of opportunities and ways to get active 

3)      A distinctive identity for One CSP

4)      Lock up advice and social media asset support.

We asked Outmost to create a new "Spot the Signs" animation to help people spot the signs of Modern Slavery. Modern Slavery is a key part of The Salvation Army's work. The last video we had was from 2017 so we wanted something fresh but also that fitted the brand, and the the Modern Slavery and digital team could work with. 

They delivered this animation on time ready for a big push for a campaign which had to be approved by different stakeholders within the organisation. This consistent of:

• They created a clear schedule with clear deadlines for each stage where we could feed in.
• They created a script from the research and key messaging points that would draw people into the subject matter in the first few seconds
• They created a visual style and storyboard for the animation. The style was striking but one other teams like digital team were able to build on to integrate into their content pages
• They gave us options for voiceover that we could select. They added suitable music and 
• They delivered  a main feature animation as well as different sizes for social and advertising. They also delivered mini loops for social

As well as delivering the assets, they also gave advised on best directions for choices and what would work well, but took feedback thoughtfully on board.

Yes delivered on time and sometimes they delivered early at some stages. Used filestage to keep track of stages and feedack. But also would respond on email- very quick and responsive. When more in depth or complex conversations were needed we also used zoom. Responded quickly to any changes

Olly and the team are video experts and they don't shy away from providing creative guidance e.g. if they think too much is happening in a scene, or if a script line doesn't sound right etc. 

This can be very helpful, as it provides an external perspective. Yet, they are also accomodating when there was specific creative decisions that we could not compromise on. This combination of fair challenges with respect of our brand identity and criteria contributed heavily to the quality of the end deliverable. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Outmost Studio could have done differently?

Outmost Studio is very transparent with their pricing, which definitely helps build trust. But their pricing grid is a little bit confusing -- it might be helpful to clarify it further, particularly for clients with tight budgets who might otherwise be scared off!

The videos that Outmost Studio produces are always of high quality and get really good results in terms of engagement and viewer feedback. In our most recent project, viewers told us that the video was interesting, emotive, and relevant. Overall, these videos have accomplished what we expected.

Their project management is very good. They constantly stay on budget and keep good timing. Additionally, they stick to deadlines that can be difficult to meet, turning things around very quickly and with great quality.
