The scope of work covers end‑to‑end UX/UI design and design system implementation for SkillBench’s v1 product, from discovery through usability validation and post‑handoff support. It is organized into three main phases with clear deliverables, acceptance criteria, and a milestone-based payment and timeline structure.

The vendor is expected to deliver:

A complete UX strategy and flow definition for v1, grounded in existing research and pilots.
A robust Figma-based design system plus high-fidelity product screens.
A coded component library (Storybook, React/TS) aligned with the Figma system.
Usability testing plans, execution, and quantitative results (task completion and SUS).
Developer-ready assets, redlines, and hands-on pairing for smooth implementation.
Post-handoff support to ensure the system is stable, accessible, and usable in production.

1. Usability metrics on key tasks:

For prioritized user tasks (per persona/flow), the project is successful when:

Task completion rate during usability tests is ≥ 85% for those prioritized tasks.
System Usability Scale (SUS) score (or an agreed equivalent) has a median ≥ 70.
If these thresholds are not met, the vendor must produce a remediation plan and execute until the targets are achieved, so hitting or closing in on these numbers is a clear indicator of progress.

2. Design system & implementation readiness:

Progress and success are demonstrated by concrete, reviewable assets that your team can use:

A complete Figma design system (tokens, components, grids, typography, color, accessible states), plus high-fidelity screens for all agreed flows and breakpoints, is produced and formally accepted by Jean/Chanyoung.
A Storybook library of components (React/TS preferred) that:
Builds and runs locally for frontend engineers.
Contains the listed components with documented props.
An accessibility checklist and contrast report that pass for all critical components, showing that the system meets agreed accessibility standards.
A Design QA checklist used by engineers to verify implementation quality.
These acceptance checkpoints are themselves measurable outcomes: either the library works and is signed off, or it doesn’t.

3. Clean engineering handoff & pairing:

Implementation-ready assets delivered (redlines, annotations, exportable assets).

All milestones are completed on the 10–15 week timeline, with payments triggered by accepted deliverables (Discovery Report, design system & UI, handoff & validation).
The 30-day stability period after final acceptance passes, at which point the 10% retention is released, indicating that no unresolved, critical issues remained in production implementation.

What stood out most was Vytas's communication style. For every milestone, he'd send a Loom video walking through the designs — explaining not just what he made, but why. That made feedback loops much faster and meant we spent less time in meetings going back and forth on intent. For a distributed team, that kind of async-first, high-context communication made a real difference.
 Are there any areas for improvement or something Outframe Design could have done differently?

Nothing major comes to mind. If I had to nitpick, it would be nice to have even more proactive suggestions on interaction patterns or micro-interactions early in the process but that's a minor wish, not a complaint. Overall a very smooth engagement.

Key Deliverables:

• User Research & Discovery: Conducted user interviews and analyzed user behavior data to identify friction points and reasons for churn. Gathered feedback on existing interface pain points and usability issues.
• Information Architecture: Restructured navigation and content hierarchy to make the platform more intuitive and reduce user confusion, with focus on improving discoverability of key features including AI search by prompt, creator insights, campaign management, and AI inbox functionality.

−71% time to assemble a client package (from ~90 minutes to ~26 minutes on average).

−45% fewer internal “where is X?” messages as data moved out of spreadsheets into one system.

These gains came from clearer flows and a consistent interface that our team adopted quickly—exactly the mix of adoption, consistency, and delivery speed we were aiming for.

We had Vytas on a subscription filling a big need as we scaled up a bunch of projects. He did the work of multiple facets of a design organization. 

He assisted with multiple products initial branding and UX strategy. And no project was simple. 

He delivered 3-4 deeply versatile interfaces for challenges spanning from reconciliation to freight invoicing. 

He provided review and optimization on a 145 component design system. 

He stood up logos and branding for some new ventures products.

The overall outcome for all of Vytas' work was if the designs were exceptional (customers loved them), if they were usable, and if they kept our timelines on the tracks. 

Outcomes we got that we didn't expect to were: 
- Filling in gaps and helping simplify the complex (product and UX thinking). 
- Systematic approach to design that scales as the snowball rolls. 
- High quality in visual aesthetic and unique-ness. 

- All at very fast speeds.
