I’m the owner & CEO of WorQFlow Solutions, an IT staffing firm. We do contract and full-time placements within the Microsoft IT industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with outboxup

We needed a company who could help us with our various product and web design needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We work with outboxup on a subcontracting basis. One of their main responsibilities includes leading our product design sessions. They pilot designs for various products that we’re exploring, design digital products that could benefit our clients from a recruitment platform perspective, and investigate competing products within the Microsoft industry.

They also do some design work for our site, which includes leading design discovery sessions to focus on the strategy and overall visual aesthetics of our site.

Aside from that, they’ve also developed and implemented a service tracking bot into our site, which helps us access data on where our visitors are navigating and clicking within our site.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Carlos (Owner), but I’ve also worked with 3–4 senior engineers. 

How did you come to work with outboxup?

outboxup was recommended to me by one of our mutual clients. After an initial discussion with them, we found an opportunity for us to leverage their skills and expertise in the areas that we needed help with.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $10,000–$50,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ever since we started working with outboxup, we’ve seen an increase in our online presence and our brand has grown from a $6 million to an almost $11 million business. I can’t say that all of those things could be attributed to them, but their work has had a significant impact on this success.

How did outboxup perform from a project management standpoint?

outboxup has been performing great in terms of project management — they’re always available and punctual.

We primarily communicate through email and phone calls, but we do have a weekly meeting through video conferences.

What did you find most impressive about them?

outboxup is a service-oriented company — everyone who’s interacted with them from our company would say that they’re extremely professional, accommodating, and flexible. 

They have intelligent resources and talented people, all of which they’re able to utilize to come up with innovative solutions for our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

outboxup could benefit from using additional project management and communication tools. We would also appreciate it if they could be more proactive in anticipating our needs. Other than that, everything’s going great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to come into the project prepared and organized in terms of resource allocation. It would be a good idea to plan around your schedule so that you can be available and attentive while working with them on a project.
