Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a contract marketing consultant and I partner with firms to advance the work of my clients.

What challenge were you trying to address with Orloff Marketing?
I come to Orloff when I need services beyond those that I can provide. I tend to stick to strategy development and messaging while I use other firms for government affairs, design, media buying, etc. Orloff designs advertising and marketing campaign materials.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve helped me develop full-blown advertising campaigns including performing media buying services, social media marketing, and design services.
What is the team composition?
I work with Dan (Principal) the most directly. There are others I speak with but not as often.
How did you come to work with Orloff Marketing?
I’ve known them for almost 30 years, so I’ve retained them when I worked on staff at a company and brought them in to help me on certain projects as a freelancer.
How much have you invested with them?
It fluctuates from project to project, and they are paid by my clients directly.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2008. That’s when I went freelance and I started using them more often.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
In the case of one of my clients, the results were increased awareness and success on highly objective projects. We also share a private school client and they saw enrollment go up. Increased awareness, sales, and lead generation are the most visible results.
How did Orloff Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s very collegial. Often, I will come to them with a set of goals and a strategy and they’ll either refine it or take it and go with it. The communication is outstanding, sometimes daily; all of it flows through Dan.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their help with branding and positioning stands out the most. They’re also strong with their faithful execution. They’re disciplined in not straying from the established brand.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I’ve seen.

The clearer you can be in defining who you are the better the results will be.
