I’m the CEO and founder of Cubix. Our company has a few different wings for e-commerce and software development. We’re based in Florida, and our back-office is in Pakistan.

What challenge were you trying to address with Orange Carrot?

We were struggling with paid marketing, especially media buying on platforms including Facebook, Snapchat, and Google. We had tried a few companies in Pakistan and Florida, but none of those partnerships worked out. I was too busy to spend my own time managing paid marketing, so we needed to outsource it to someone.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I had a few meetings with Austin (Managing Partner) and his team for a long discussion and proposal. We gave them the details and information about the project and named a competitor, and Orange Carrot did the rest of the R&D. We initially gave them feedback every other day about the ad content that they were working on. 

They now handle our paid marketing. Orange Carrot creates the ad content, including the images and graphics.

What is the team composition?

I’ve spoken with three people from Orange Carrot: Austin and a couple of teammates who are located in India. 

How did you come to work with Orange Carrot?

I’d known Austin for about 10 years through a mutual friend, so I contacted him about my project. I knew he was in media buying, but I hadn’t realized that he was running his own company. 

How much have you invested with them?

We initially started with a budget of $10,000 a month and increased the budget over time. We currently spend $30,000–$35,000 per month with Orange Carrot. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve worked with Orange Carrot since June 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We are happy with our ROI so far. They have a really good R&D team — they did most of the detail-oriented research homework.

How did Orange Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m happy with their project management. This is the first time that we’ve experienced an agency working and staying available 24/7 as our team does, and Orange Carrot’s team has been very lively, which has been fun for my team. Their agile customer support has been very nice – we have given them feedback and seen results the next day. We communicate primarily through Skype. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Orange Carrot has a very personal touch compared to other agencies, and I love that about them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think Orange Carrot should consider more detailed documentation — I think that’s the only thing missing. Everything else they provide is pretty much what I am looking for.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Orange Carrot is very good if you know what you are looking for, but they also have a really good R&D team that can help you even if you have little knowledge of what you’re doing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Orange Carrot?

We’ve used Orange Carrot for several of our marketing services, white labeling our initiatives. They also work on our clients’ landing pages, paid ads, and lead generation campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, we communicated with Orange Carrot through emails and WhatsApp about the kind of services we needed from them. From there, they started collaborating with our clients; they worked on handling documentation, uploads, and instructions.

So far, we’ve been on a working cadence. The Orange Carrot team communicates consistently with our clients to provide updates on how projects are going along. From handling 2–3 of our clients, they're now handling around eight of them.

How did you come to work with Orange Carrot?

I had some ties with one of their officers; he was in my network and we used to work together at another company. In other words, there was already some amount of credibility in them. When I told him what I was doing and learned about what he was doing, we decided to give the partnership a go.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Orange Carrot’s campaigns have generated high conversion rates via landing pages. That’s one of the most important things we want our clients to experience — to grow and expand their sales. Their success is our success. 

How did Orange Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is fantastic. Of the many partners I’ve worked with, they’re one of the few that are extremely good at communication and deliverables — I’d definitely recommend them to other businesses for this quality. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Orange Carrot shows results and performs while others simply say they can do things. To elaborate, other marketers keep us in the door by saying they’re going to do something. While they do marketing — they run ads and create content — they don’t produce results.

Essentially, marketing strategies should help us know our strengths and generate ROI. Orange Carrot is forward and trustworthy, and that makes them different and more successful than others. They map out the right strategies to take for us without wasting our time. Ultimately, they generate ROI for us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

The initial part of our communication and the identification of their strength in terms of our clients can be improved. We can better figure out the best ways to work together. To be fair, this is a minor issue, and working with them is still a lot quicker and easier than with many of our other partners. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be forward with Orange Carrot because they’ll be forward with you. If you have a budget of $1,500 per month and you don’t tell them that, it’s not going to be beneficial for both of your teams. It’s going to be a big waste of time if the ad campaign turns out to require a minimum of $2,000 to complete.  

Overall, having an upfront and forward communication will make the engagement easier. If you do that, you can expect some astronomical results from the engagement.

We’re working with Orange Carrot on several campaigns with different clients. They offer all-around SEO support, from organic search, Google Ads management, and content development. They also conduct content marketing and manage PPC campaigns. 

In addition, Orange Carrot is implementing improvements on our clients’ WordPress websites. Their team also handles remarketing efforts and media buying on Facebook, creating their own ads.

Thanks to Orange Carrot, we’ve grown our accounts and increased our revenue by 25%. They’ve helped us scale up and bring more business — we’re very happy with their services. 

Notably, one of our clients’ revenue doubled through Orange Carrot’s work. Generally, our clients see improvement in their search traffic and positive results across all metrics. We’re getting a lot of referrals thanks to the excellent performance of our campaigns. 

How did Orange Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

Orange Carrot is doing really well in project management — their work is structured, buttoned-up, and organized. We communicate through Slack, Skype, Basecamp, and Asana. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Orange Carrot’s attention to data and understanding of analytics is impressive. They’re good at tracking their work, making it easy to relay information to the client.

I’m the sole proprietor of a digital marketing company. We mostly focus on organic positioning, strategy, and social media management and growth. For social media, we focus on Instagram and Facebook.

What challenge were you trying to address with Orange Carrot?

Orange Carrot allows me to offer my clients white-labeled services for media buying, including PPC, SEO, and other paid advertising services on Google, Facebook, and Instagram.

What was the scope of their involvement?

While I focus on the creative side of digital marketing, Austin’s (Managing Partner & CEO) business specializes in data analysis, data tracking, and media buying. Thanks to Orange Carrot’s work, I can offer my clients those services. Thus, we have a great relationship, and we send business to each other back and forth.

Along with their services, Orange Carrot offers me a lot of guidance and consulting. I don’t just ask them to run some ads, but they also guide me through the strategy and how to set up the campaigns to succeed. Their team does an excellent job organizing all that information for me to deliver results to my clients.

As paid advertising is closely related to lead generation, we also use Google Display Network to retarget people and generate them as leads for one of my clients, a boat manufacturer. We’ve done a great job with that retargeting strategy, focusing on specific keywords on platforms like Google, Facebook, and even YouTube pre-roll ads. Additionally, they help me with email marketing on a more collaborative approach. For example, we currently work with three of my clients on email marketing campaigns.

What is the team composition?

Austin is typically my main point of contact, but I also work closely with Rakesh (Co-Founder) on several clients, collaborating on copywriting, ads execution, and the strategy and execution side of things. Additionally, I work with Paranjyothi (Project Manager) and several other team members on various things; we work really well together.

How did you come to work with Orange Carrot?

Around 2015 or 2016, I was looking for a media buyer that I could trust. I hired some people back then, but I wasn’t very happy with the results. I wanted to work with someone who could understand the businesses that I worked with to effectively communicate their message to the people we were trying to advertise to.

I kept looking for a partner and came across Austin through a local marketing group on Facebook in South Florida. I talked to him, and he seemed to be a great person. Being from South Florida, he understood the industries that I worked with, and almost immediately, we started collaborating.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent over $50,000 over the course of the past years.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve had a very long relationship with Orange Carrot. We started working together around the beginning of 2016, and we’re still working together in 2022. Currently, we work together for four of my clients, and I’m always looking for new business opportunities.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Austin and I have gone through some of my client’s numbers, and we've noticed that we’d generated great revenue for them. For instance, a few months ago, we took over some of the marketing efforts of one of my clients. This client was making around $10,000–$20,000 per month, and now they’re doing around $40,000–$50,000 through media buying using different strategies.

As for another of my clients, we went from working with a company that built one boat per year to one that builds 8–10 boats per year, thanks to lead generation. Last year, we achieved around $6 million–$8 million in boat pre-sales.

Overall, we’ve worked really well together, coming up with ways to work smarter and operate more efficiently.

How did Orange Carrot perform from a project management standpoint?

Paranjyothi is an incredible project manager. She and the rest of the team keep me on track and ensure that everything is done and delivered on time. We communicate via phone calls, text messages, email, and Slack consistently throughout the week and even during the weekend. Additionally, Austin and I work in person at least once per week, and we have Zoom meetings with the whole team 3–4 times per week.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It is difficult to point out Orange Carrot’s most impressive asset because they have a lot of qualities that I appreciate. Their project management skills are superb, but their strongest suit is the guidance and consulting they offer.

In digital marketing, people can find online 100 different companies nearby them that can run Facebook ads, but not because they know how to execute a campaign means that they can deliver results. Working with Orange Carrot, we collaborate with diverse clients, and they’re able to make proper recommendations for each one to avoid spending money where they don’t need to. This aspect enables us to operate seamlessly and maximize the ROI for my clients.

Austin and Rakesh have probably 15–20 years of experience combined, so having their guidance is the biggest benefit of working with Orange Carrot.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, I can’t think of anything that Orange Carrot could improve on; they do an excellent job. Austin has done a great job at continuously growing and improving his company. When we started working together, he had a lot of work on his plate, but he did an excellent job building a team and hiring new people to keep everything on track.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open to feedback. Many people tend to tell the vendor what they want and how they want it, but it is great to listen and take advice from the people who do their work every day. My best advice is to tell them about your business and your goals, and then take some guidance from the experts because they have a wealth of knowledge to offer.
