I’m the VP of corporate marketing at a residential home building company.

What challenge were you trying to address with OppGenetix?

We wanted to utilize PPC and SEO to drive sales leads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their main involvement is managing PPC through Google Ads. On a daily basis, they do ad copy and keyword changes, as well as visual optimization, to increase leads. Their team helped us define our strategy and implement it. 

What is the team composition?

I’ve had one primary point of contact who is one of the partners at their firm. There are five additional team members that we’ve interacted with. 

How did you come to work with OppGenetix?

I met the founder of OppGenetix through networking and we built a relationship for several months prior to discussing doing business together. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested over $1.2 million during the course of the engagement. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our ongoing relationship in September 2014.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We monitor the conversion rate from traffic to lead. We also look at the cost per click versus who becomes a customer. They are brilliant at what they do, and we are able to adapt based on what we see in the metrics. 

How did OppGenetix perform from a project management standpoint?

They make their work approachable and understandable, involving the client in the process. They’re very communicative, in person and virtually. We communicate through emails and phone calls in addition to occasional in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Unlike other vendors who are only concerned with generating leads, they care about if the leads we get convert into paying customers. One of the founders has an accounting background, and his expertise has helped him instill a very logical methodology with their team. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

A great agency doesn’t always have to agree with the client, it is okay to push back a little or disagree. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to put everything on the table so they can understand your company holistically. Additionally, it might take more time to see results, but the improvements they make lead to sustainable growth over time.
