We are very glad to work with clutch. We had our videos already and they were looking very out of the date. Dima and his team edit all of our videos and present in a way that is more trendy and creative. We also get our videos in different languages and dimas team was very helpfull. We also rebrand our intro and outro. Overall we enjoyed working with them and will work again in the upcoming projects.

• We had meetings with a regular cadence, as well as a whatsapp chat. upon showing my deliverables to Dmytro, I was provided a work package and a quotation.

They not only delivered on time, but they delivered quicker than expected and added more value than expected.

Onzego was able to break down a really hard product with existing assets, and use those assets to create something amazing. To do that takes a lot of skill because you really have to understand the end goal of the customer. Onzego nailed it!

No - perhaps they could utillise something like Jira or Trello for project management, but our method of communication also worked well.

For what projects/services did your company hire ONZEGO Production, and what were your goals?

We created a video that showcased our Halos and Sins Kickstarter campaign. Our goal is to raise funds for our Kickstarter campaign for future app development.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Looking for a video production team that had produced amazing videos for Kickstarter before. Found via Upwork.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

1. Storyboarding - Dima created an amazing storyboard and moodboard first. Our video involves real actors and a lot of special effects, and floating text. Team nailed down what each would look like
2. Script - Dima helped us nail down a script with great ideas 
3. Pre-Production - Dima and team hired actors and rented multiple property locations to shoot our film. They had over 60+ scenes. There were over 10 actors portrayed in the film
4. Production - art references, game artwork, game video shots, etc. were all compiled here
5. Voice Over - A voice actor was selected, and hired to read the relevent parts of the script 6
6. Creator filming and testimonial - Jim the game creator was filmed and discussed the Kickstarter
7. Final Production - all parts of the video including sound design, voice over, effects, actor shots were all brought together to make the final film 
8. Feedback - Film feedback was given and minor changes were made. It is a gorgeous film Dima and his team created for us.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Dima was the only point of contact for the film. He worked with the director, actors, purchased all of the film assets like house rental, gear rentals etc. Dima was incredibly responsive. He was also quick to make good intuitive judgements about what we needed and what we were going for with the film. He kept us apprised at each stage of the process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video and the Kickstarter page got us a partnership with Jellop and Kickstartertech. I believe his beautiful video contributed heavily to us getting accepted.

Dmytro (Dima) was very eager and energetic to create a great video for us. He worked with us at all of the stages of the video. He used milonote and frame.io to coordinate all of the artifacts. Unfortunately Dima was a bit late with the final video by two weeks. However, good quality takes time, and we are incredibly impressed with the end result.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are awesome, knowledgeable, and insightful on what looks good with a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. They are also incredibly talented with an eye for perfection. I will definitely use them again.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Time estimates. Unfortunately the video was late by two weeks. However, the amount of work Dima and Team did was amazing. I cannot recommend them enough.

We hired them for creating a 2-minute promotional video for our crowdfunding campaign.

How did you select ONZEGO Production and what were the deciding factors?

We are launching our product on Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. While looking for video productions, we saw their portfolios and believed that ONZEGO was the right fit to our project.

We began with an online meeting on Google Meet. Then we provided our initial draft of the script and discussed the way how we could improve it. After discussion, ONZEGO began working on the storyboard, which was then reviewed and approved by us. Once the storyboard was done, we decided the shooting locations, actors, and budgets.

ONZEGO began shooting, while we started the voiceover recording with another voiceover freelancer. ONZEGO then combined and edited everything into the final video with 2 edits.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Dmytro. For each milestone, we always had a thorough discussion on how we could develop this project further. He provided sufficient support to us for each of our requests.

I am the co-founder of a holdings investment company in e-commerce and real estate.

What challenge were you trying to address with ONZEGO Production?

We were looking to expand our digital channels, including our website, but mostly our e-commerce channels.

What was the scope of their involvement?

When we started working with them, ONZEGO only did graphic design, so we began by giving them our packaging design. When we needed different design work we reached out to them again. We have a lot of portfolio companies, so eventually, we started giving them a big chunk of work in other areas beyond packaging and graphic design. They’ve ramped up their team so they can deliver for us. 

ONZEGO now provides us with various design services, from graphic design to website design and product packaging design. They also create and post graphics for our social media accounts. They built our website design using WordPress and Shopify— we provided them with die cuts of the packaging to start and they designed from there.

They also do photography, videography, video editing, and graphics for us. They built an entire in-house photography studio for us and built out their video production team because we needed to start working in that field. 

Depending on the project and brand, we sometimes give them design specifics. Usually, when we like the look of our competitors' branding — we’ll ask for something similar or for the ONZEGO team to create something even better. But generally, we leave the design work to the designers.

What is the team composition?

Around 20 of the ONZEGO teammates on the project execution team don’t speak English, so we interact with the 3–4 teammates who do — this includes a project manager, the founder and CEO, a web developer, and a social media manager.  

How did you come to work with ONZEGO Production?

We initially came across them on a referral platform and have been working with them for 3–4 years. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested a little over $250,000 with ONZEGO thus far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in January 2017 and it is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve been working with ONZEGO for four years, but it’s hard to say precisely the impact of their work. We think their designs look good and they convert customers, but we’ve never A/B tested their design against other designs. 

We are making a lot of sales across our company, and that wouldn’t happen without their design work.

How did ONZEGO Production perform from a project management standpoint?

ONZEGO performs well with project management — a lot of smaller design agencies don’t have their own project managers, but ONZEGO does. Their team is more organized than other freelancers or small companies that we’ve worked with. 

We have a lot of ongoing projects so we are in daily communication with the ONZEGO team — about 90% of our communication is via Slack and the rest is through other channels.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been impressed with how they’ve been able to grow with us over the years. As our needs grow, in terms of capacity for a specific function or in needing work done in other creative fields, they’ve been able to grow and scale with us. 

The ONZEGO team is able to pick things up and add to their capabilities and capacity — that’s pretty rare. We’ve outgrown several freelancers because they usually only have 3–5 teammates and don’t have the capacity to scale up or expand their capabilities to match our needs. 

We can tell the ONZEGO team that we want something and they’ll figure out how to deliver it to us even if it may be outside of their regular capabilities — that’s pretty unique for a company. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are always pros and cons to being flexible in the different types of work ONZEGO does. From time to time, they bring us the wrong resource for a project and the quality of the deliverables goes down because the teammate doesn’t have the expertise we need. 

However, we can reach out to the ONZEGO team, discuss the issue with them, and they’re able to find another teammate to work on the project. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I think they’re a great company and they do what is necessary to succeed — when timelines are tight, they work harder and work longer hours to deliver what we need. I urge potential customers to work with ONZEGO.
