I started my 2 medical Telehealth business. Alohadoc.com.au and Alohatelehealth.com.au. Because I was getting my website developed from overseas who were developers and not content creators, I was told by the sales team before signing with OMG that they will provide content. The sales team was quite well-pitched. We were provided audits and strategy before we signed up. 
The company was given all details including competitors etc. When we signed up after my website was ready with Lorem ipsium as content, the team at OMG said we will conduct Audit and strategy session. Imaging auditing a website that has lorem ipsium which was not even live as it was awaiting for the content. The OMG team wasted few weeks asking me similar information for strategy which was provided to them before I signed up. 
They provided me near similar strategy presentation which I received from their initial pre sales strategy session. So basically no objective work. When I raised with OMG that where is the content and how can you audit a website that is not live and content that has lorem ipsium, they came up with a plan for content that would take few weeks. Now imaging a lingering business with ongoing expense waiting to get live only to be delayed by so called professional marketing team. I took it upon myself to do the content from my busy clinic and jet lag from recent overseas travel. 
I did the content in 24 hours, which the so called OMG content writers suggested would take few weeks. Despite this they made 2 suggestions to add on the website which they said they will do which never happened. Finally frustrated, I decided to cancel the services. The OMG team was so considerate (I am being sarcastic) that they acknowledged the issue and decided to refund the 1st month cost, but wait there is a catch. To get this I would have to continue with them and provide my business to them. 
I said this is silly, basically you are saying we did not provide services for the 1st month so we will not charge only if you continue with us. I said because of your delays, my business was delayed incurring loss, and you are thinking of your profits for your mistakes. So I decided to cancel. Then the unethical practices really kicked in. They said as per my contract I will be charged for 30 days. 
SO here is a business that ripped me off 2 months of costs and provided a strategy on a website that was not live and had lorem ipsium and did not meet deadlines for content and incurring loss to my business. I disputed these charges with my credit card company to which they then changed their stance and provide an excel file with docs link saying all services delivered.
I recorded our meeting where they clearly acknowledged that they failed to deliver services. All email screenshots attached. Unfortunately google does not allow voice notes to attach on reviews. People reading this review please ask me if you want the copy of the voice note so you can make better informed decisions.
Please read my email carefully and stay away from this company who would profit off your own business and not do any work and not take any accountability for their actions.
I am sure they will attach the excel file with so called services delivered to reply a counter arguement to my review, but read my email thread attached with this email where they clearly acknowledged delays and incompetencies from their end.

We were the number two selling energy drink in ten central market locations within Texas in the H-E-B system. Online Marketing Gurus designed content for our social media channels, including static images and animations. The team also managed marketing campaigns on Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube. Online Marketing Gurus created copy for our website to establish connectivity and boost our search rankings. The team created our SEO strategy, and we worked together on the keyword research. Online Marketing Gurus worked on bringing our website up to speed and delivered monthly performance reports.

We worked with Online Marketing Gurus from May 2023–January 2024. Our engagement ended because our company acquired another company that had an agency of record that took over SEO work.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We saw our search engine rank increase dramatically when Online Marketing Gurus was doing SEO work for us. We knew our drink's differentiator and Online Marketing Gurus worked on keywords around that. The team's work carved out an excellent notch for us and achieved significant growth. We quickly moved from the fifth page of results to the first page and were really happy. We saw the results in real-time. 

Online Marketing Gurus did an excellent job. The ads were very successful from what we saw on our online sales and Texas sales. We received calls from users all over the country who saw the ads. Online Marketing Gurus conducted effective campaigns, and we found it very moving that their CEO joined our virtual meetings even with our time difference. That personal touch, connectivity, and respect carried on through the time we engaged with the team.

Online Marketing Gurus' project management was meticulous. We always knew where our funds were destined. We had real-time input and made changes as needed. Jeff was exceptional. We were impressed at his knowledge of SEO and online marketing. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by Online Marketing Gurus' transparency and proactive communication. There were times when we were too busy to meet, and the team insisted because they knew how important it was to meet.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for Online Marketing Gurus to improve. The team set the bar high. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I would encourage customers to trust the process and be patient. SEO strategy is a marathon, not a sprint. I also suggest trusting the data and numbers and leaning into the professionals Online Marketing Gurus has. Ask them for a walkthrough of the reports and an explanation of the data. Online Marketing Gurus was very accessible and educated us about their actions. 

I recommend new clients not to hold back and be intimidated by what they don't know. I don't have an SEO background and have never worked on an SEO project, so I encourage customers to ask questions to better understand the project.

After literally wasting time and money for years with local companies, I set about searching again. I selected OMG based on compatibility with our business, online reviews and after talking with Elliott Pavatich and Simon Hancock

Our goal was to tap more into the healthcare and mums and bubs market. We are up against bug players like Life Space and Swisse. The project started with a small budget and slowly grew as we started to see success. OMG built a profile that gives us conversion and the sales we need while staying within the budget that we set.

Through collaboration and OMG suggestions and test trials, we were able to get to a conversion rate that we needed for our business to be successful. The campaign included keywords, negative keywords, and different searches that would drive the right demographic to our website. OMG also made recommendations on how to modify our landing pages and calls to action.

We’ve been using OMG for a year now, and we’re extremely happy with them. From a return standpoint, we’ve seen conversions on specific campaigns as high as 10 : 1 return on adspend which has resulted in consistent sales

First and foremost they listen. They fully understand our business and where we want to go. They provide us with detailed reports and work logs. I have no questions as to what they are doing or charging me for. The entire team is literally a phone call or email away. They are very responsive in a timely manner. I speak with my account manager Harland at least once a week.

The measurable results, accountability and superior customer service experience, you get fast responses and personal service whenever you call or email them. When you make suggestions, they act upon them very quickly.

They’ve been a great team to work with. We’ve been regularly examining their reports, which are filled with performance metrics such as impressions, link acquisitions, and clicks. With their help, we’ve increased our ranking for certain keywords. 

They shifted strategy when California was going through problems with wildfires, positioning one of our products to help people dealing with smoke in their homes. After creating content about that, our SERP rankings increased. We were happy to be more visible to people encountering that problem.

I meet with Andrea on a bi-weekly basis to discuss their progress. Otherwise, we communicate over email. 

They have several internal tools that they use to verify SEO standings such as SEMrush and Ahrefs. Since I started in this role, we’ve been able to work a bit more collaboratively, and I’ve been very impressed with Andrea. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been very adaptive as I’ve transitioned into this role. Andrea is super responsive and always assumes positive intent. They’re eager to work together and take in our feedback. I’m glad we have their expertise to help us be successful.

At this point, I can’t think of anything. Some of their content may benefit from some additional SEO verification. We’re looking to integrate tools on my end to help beef up this effort.

Try them out. Make sure you come to them with clear goals. Think about how to make their agency a cohesive piece of your strategy rather than a siloed team.

Ongoing, our campaign has benefited from new content and a targetted link acquisition strategy.

Our on-going strategy has predominantly been centered around link acquisition and content - which has not only correlated to record visibility and traffic but has also seen our domain rating one site increase from 9 to 53 and resulted in a 200% increase in organic revenue YoY last reporting cycle. ROI across both sites is postive.

We have at least monthly meetings with our account Manager to run through the last moths performance, opportunities and roadblocks and get an overivew of work in progress. There's also back and forths in between on tasks in progress. Tools range from custom dashboards to third-party tool get a complete overview on performance.

This company's experience relates very well to our industry. They have worked with most of the high end and big-name companies in the apparel and athleisure industry. Their drive to help us succeed is very impressive and encouraging. In addition, they work with complete professionalism and set very high standards for themselves.

To be completely honest we have no complaints. In the time that we have been working with them they have exceeded our expectations and gone above and beyond to help us reach our goal.
