AL Mufeed Printing Press LLC is a professionally managed printing company established in 1994 at Sharjah U.A.E. We offer a wide range of commercial printing services like offset, silk screen and digital printing right from design to dispatch. For what projects/services did your company hire Onesoft Technologies?

Till 2019, every process were manually managed with help of multiple office software such as Microsoft Excel for costing, estimation, etc. Microsoft Word for documentation, Tally for Accounting, etc.

Since our company was growing, it was hard for us to keep it this way. So we decided to hire a professional software development company who are good at ERP development to help us with this.

Onesoft Technologies was suggested by one of our business contact, and after preliminary discussions with many companies, we decided to award the project to Onesoft Technologies LLP

What were your goals for this project?

Major pain points to solve were:

1. The costing and estimation is bit complex for printing industry, solve this was the first challenge
2. To manage production
3. To streamline accounts and reports
4. Manage HRMS & Payroll
5. To better manage marketing leads, and provide better service to our customers using CRM

The above were the main goals along with many other, Onesoft Technologies given us module wise releases and until now, we are happy with the development.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

As mentioned earlier, Onesoft Technologies were recommended by one of our business contact. We were having few other references, and we had preliminary discussions with all of them. After these discussions, we felt confident with Onesoft, also their pricing was fair, comparing with other quotations we received.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The project was a complete ERP solution for Al Mufeed Printing Press. Many of the requirements were specific as per our interest. Main modules were as follows:

1. CRM
2. Design
3. Production
4. Purchase
5. Store & Inventory
6. HRMS & Payroll
7. Dispatch
8. Accounts

The whole system is developed using their ERP framework (ThinkERP). The technology used are .Net Core, C#, Angular 8, MVC Architecture, Web APIs. The database used is MSSQL.

What was the team composition?

The project team was about 11 people as follows:

• 1 Project Manager cum Business Analyst
• Technical Manager
• 6 Software Developers
• 1 UI UX Designer
• 2 Test Engineers

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project is ongoing, few modules are yet to be finished. But we are currently using it. Until now, our team is happy with the service, and completed modules meets our requirements.

This helped our business in a big way, especially, the estimation and costing. I specifically pointed this because, it were never perfect before. Now it is very easy and simple to do it.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was good. They were professional, and punctual in meeting deadlines. Followed Agile Methodology, and we were having meetings at regular intervals. We did face to face meetings, phone calls, etc. as required.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were having a very friendly and healthy relationship with Onesoft, and therefore communication was easy and transparent. The did a good background study about our industry before the meeting and requirement study, which helped in a great way. It's easy for us to explain things, and they understand really fast. This was the most impressive thing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

At some places, few improvements were required, and they did it while we reported. But these are minor. Also, few more modules are yet to be completed, after which we will be able to give a final comment. Till now, we are so satisfied with their service and we are happy to give our reference.
