I’m the owner of Brown Haven Homes. We build new residential homes.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with ONeil Interactive?

We were looking to update the look and feel of our website to attract more leads and convert more sales.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We met with them before bringing them on to better understand their approach and the services they offer. Our decision making process to select them was very thorough. Once we decided to move forward with them, they presented an initial proposal. The following design process took about four to six months from start to finish. They continue to work with us on updates and maintenance as necessary.

Compared to our competitors, the new site is very customized and unique. ONeil seemed to be very aware of the latest design trends, and the resulting site is more flexible in its layout. They also did some SEO work, but our marketing company takes the lead on most of those projects.

What is the team composition?

We have one primary point of contact, and she has a counterpart that sits in on some meetings. There’s also a sales person that sits in when we discuss scope, additional features, etc.

How did you come to work with ONeil Interactive?

The company that we use for marketing services referred them to us. We still considered several other options, but the ONeil team seemed much more nimble than their competitors. We appreciated their style of design, and we knew they could take on this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We initially invested $40,000-$45,000, and I’ve put in another $20,000-$30,000 over the course of the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2017, and the site launched in July. We still have a few ongoing maintenance projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new site has been very well received by our customer base. We’ve gotten countless compliments on its design, usability, and performance. The site’s design presents us as more professional than our competitors, and it’s showing in our sales numbers.

How did ONeil Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re timely and efficient in all their updates. I have calls with our account manager two to three times a month, and we communicate via email three to five times a week. We’ve communicated solely via phone and email throughout the project. There are still a few ongoing parts of the project, even though we’ve already launched the site.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They do a first-class job on design, and they’ve been very communicative during the process. Whenever I have questions, they make it a priority to research my inquiries and respond. Overall, they’re a great company and I’ve enjoyed working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We would’ve liked a lower cost, but you get what you pay for. As far as design and functionality, I don’t have any complaints or suggestions.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

They may not be accessible or necessarily worthwhile for smaller businesses. If you’re looking for a long-term partner in growth, ONeil is a great choice. If you’re looking to simply maintain a website for your business, there may be more cost-efficient options.
