Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of a software engineering company that helps other businesses build technical solutions.


What challenge were you trying to address with Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd.?

We brought on Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd. to kick off our digital marketing efforts.  


What was the scope of their involvement?

They promoted our company through SEO and social media marketing (SMM). They developed social media pages for us and started promoting us there. They maintained our profiles and created content on our behalf for LinkedIn and Facebook.

They created additional content for our blog as well. We would provide them with a few bullet points of topics we wanted them to cover, and we would go through a few rounds of edits before finalizing a post. Although most of these articles were for our blog, a few were published on other sites to create backlinks and improve our SEO as well.

What is the team composition?

I was in constant communication with their CEO and CTO. However, I know they had a larger team working on the project that I didn’t work with directly.

How did you come to work with Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd.?

We were looking for marketing companies that specialized in B2B, medium-size businesses. Although we met with a few companies, we felt that Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd. would be most successful in marketing us within a B2B network.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2019, but we’re renewing our contract for another project as well.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve started to gain more visibility. So far, this project has generated 3-4 leads, out of which we also converted one client. We know that SEO takes time, so we’re looking forward to renewing our contract with Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd..

How did Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Basically, they were very attentive. Whenever we would write to them, they would respond quickly and they paid attention to details. They were also very proactive in setting up meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Although they have a big team, they function like a startup. There wasn’t a lot of bureaucracy, so they were really flexible. I felt like I can just call them up, and they will be able to make changes very quickly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We thought that they delivered high-quality content, but would have appreciated a writer with a bigger technological background. Had they hired someone more familiar with the jargon and processes associated with our business,  it might be easier for them to write more tech-focused articles.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Their team moves pretty fast, so choose a dedicated team member to be the main point of contact. The more accessible they are to Onedot Media Pvt. Ltd., the less time will be wasted during the project.
