Testing of an HR management system (HRMS)
To fulfill the assigned task, we've developed two sets of test documentation: a checklist for the verification of each solution component and end-to-end scenarios for testing the performance of the entire functionality. When working on the project, we have conducted functional testing of web and mobile applications, integration and UI testing; checked the functionality for activity planning during the employee onboarding, the system of roles by departments with different levels of access to the content, HR data and analytics testing from the employee app.
Services provided: Test documentation development, functional, UI, integration testing for web and mobile.
Tech stack: Android app, iOS app, Firebase, GitLab.

Manual testing of an Uber-like app
The solution testing, divided into iterations, was conducted throughout the project development and up to the final delivery to the client. Special attention was on load and server availability testing, scenarios of the REST API testing using SOAP UI, and integration with CI Jenkins.
Services provided: Functional, regression, and performance testing.
Tech stack: iOS, Android, Tsung, Jenkins, SOAP UI.

Marketplace of industrial machinery and services
Working on the project, it was necessary to test the marketplace of industrial machinery, equipment, and services from scratch in Laravel, review code functionality and quality (structure, documentation, etc.), and check the solution usability along with the general business workflow.
The project was still under development and all QA activities we conducted in iterations following the developer's work. To ensure agility and quick assessment of the assigned tasks, a QA engineer was dedicated for the on-demand testing. Working on the project was performed functional, regression, and UI testing on desktop and mobile devices. Among the main functional blocks, the QA Engineer tested the payment process, creation of entities, their integration, and interaction with the admin part of the project.
Services provided: Test documentation development, functional, UI, integration, usability, performance, beta, API, regression testing for web and mobile.
Tech stack: Android app, iOS app, GitLab.

Testing of a real-time video editor
Our team has developed a set of test documentation for functional testing during which we have verified various combinations of working with video, like its size, duration, video acceleration or slowing-down, correct storing on a device with limited memory. Special attention was paid not only to the live video recording mode but also to the work with already saved recordings in different formats.
Services provided: Test documentation development, functional, UI, integration testing for web and mobile.
Tech stack: Android app, iOS app, Firebase, GitLab.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Delivery Manager of a service IT company. We provide Shopify development services, which include creating and supporting stores, themes, and applications.
For what projects/services did your company hire OKQA, and what were your goals?
We hired the OKQA team to test our new corporate website. Functional, usability, and compatibility testing was carried out on the project.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Before starting our collaboration, we had several meetings and discussed our project. We liked their approaches to work and their deep understanding of processes for testing websites. So we decided to start our collaboration.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
When our website was already created, we attracted the OKQA team to our development process. The main goal was to make the functional, usability, and compatibility testing. OKQA team set up the workspace for the QA process.
Then they checked the website and created the bugs list. The developers fixed all the bugs, and the OKQA team rechecked the website. Finally, the website was published.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have worked with the lead QA engineer and the account manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
OKQA team helped us to find and prevent bugs before publishing the website. No critical bugs on the site are a good result.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
During the QA process, the OKQA team created the bugs list on the kanban board. It was the transparent process of task management and description. They substantiated all their tasks and recommendations for improving the website. And all QA work was clear and done on time.

In addition to the basic QA service, they provide recommendations on functionality, design, text compliance, and overall product improvement. They also help in setting up development processes.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Head of Operations at a Design Agency HSL. We specialise in no code web design but also dabble in development
For what projects/services did your company hire OKQA?
Previously we did QA in house but as the complexity, scale and quantity of our projects have grown we needed both more resource and resource that was more skilled and experienced in QA. We trialed this relationship with the QAing of a recently completed virtual art gallery we did for charity in collaboration with Bvlgari
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were referred from a friend who gave them a positive review. Their company is at a similar stage to ours and we could see the opportunities.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Once the virtual gallery was complete we skipped internal QA to see what OKQA could do instead. They reviewed the website, quoted time and effort required then produced a checklist of items they would test + platforms and devices. We agreed and then the testing commenced. We filtered through the items found and actioned the most critical
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Unknown but we only liaised with the 2 founders
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Multiple devices and platforms tested Relevant changes that we have actioned Confidence that our projects are robust and error free
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Good. As this is only the first time we worked together it was slower than we would hope - from both parties. But i can only see that improving. Once the work was delivered it was great and we required no further back and forth
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their customer service, depth in testing, and the work they finished were impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
