At the time of engaging Odyssey we were ready to launch a new revised website.
Their first task was to review the site and suggest enhancements, which they then went on to complete on our behalf. We also wanted to develop advertising campaigns through Google and Facebook on a location by location basis.
Odyssey worked on this to develop a formula for opening new territories. This is being achieved and we are now able to switch-on other territories as required.
What was the team composition?
I generally work with the principle of the team (Rob) and we work in collaboration to achieve key goals for the business. We meet weekly and review a variety of aspects covered during the previous weeks and months to hone the effectiveness of the campaigns.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have successfully tracked the performance of our business since we contracted Odyssey and can see solid results since we began working together. Their support has seen an annual growth of of three times to income generated in the previous year.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow has been really positive and we are extremely impressed by the commitment to developing the marketing activities. They provide realistic expectations and timeframes for achieving our marketing objectives.

Drive the exposure of the business utilising SEO and PPC. We had previous experience of someone utilising PPC with us, however when Google rejected all the Ads they gave up.

To improve exposure of the company, to be discovered by more people, to increase brand awareness, to drive google ranking and ultimately to drive turnover.

We are closely connected to a lot of different SEO providers however we didn't wish to choose someone due to offending others, however when the previous selection was made clearly in error we contacted Rob.

To create a series of Adverts that would be utilised via Google search and drive additional business. Also to implement a SEO plan and strategy which would produce initial short term results but ultimately plan for a much greater future.

This information was never opened up to us, nor did it need to be, we communicated with several members of the team, however I'm sure we weren't limited to that.

In early 2019 I was appointed as head of marketing for a printing supplies company called Signzworld. From day one it was abundantly clear that there was a large amount of work to be done to push this company into the modern world. The most important and unavoidable task was to get a new, fully functioning, easy to navigate and conversion focused new website.

Having witnessed the impressive capabilities of the Odyssey New Media team it was clear that it was worth a conversation with them. Upon speaking to them it was clear that they not only know exactly what they're on about within this field but that they really cared about the quality of their output and the happiness of their client.
For these reasons we tasked them with the design and development of a modern website that meets all of the criteria set in our original brief. Having had the first meeting with Rob and the director of my current company we looked to expand their duties further by looking to utilise their highly endorsed SEO expertise and web management services.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were simple. To go from a very poor, barely converting website into a customer / user friendly site that gives the company the best possible chance of showcasing the vast catalogue of products that are available. Phase 2 will be to then improve online visibility of these products and increase the amount of online shelf space that Signzworld currently occupies.
How did you select this vendor?
Odyssey new Media come very highly recommended and I see why. They've received many accolades for their previous works and boast an impressive portfolio with case studies that make it very difficult to choose any other company for the job.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Initially, Rob had made the trip to visit us at our main offices to discuss the early plans for a new website. We traded idea's based off my original plans of theme colours and what I needed the website to be able to perform. Rob took all this on board making several pages of notes and within a couple of weeks, he had devised a proposal and a plan and again returned to brief both myself and the director.
We were both so impressed we signed off on the development and Rob and his team got to work. We had regular updates and were privy to view the current status on the design via their staging area and I felt comfortable enough to explain if I didn't agree on certain aspects of their design, although that wasn't really too often. Our original website was on a very slow and unsteady server which produced an array of problems. All of which were communicated to us clearly and acted upon immediately. A special mention to their developer Dan, who had solidly worked through many days to try and rectify so many intricate server-based issues.
very They provided us with a new website that exceeded expectations and has already seen sales increase handsomely. There was also a lot of other items that we had not thought of during initial briefing stages that Rob and the team worked tirelessly to add.

We mainly corresponded with Rob but he was continually designating development work to the very talented Dan. From our side it was just me in the position of project manager, relaying to Rob any issues and requirements.

The website went live at the very end of November 2019 and December 2019 saw the record amount of sales the company has ever seen.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Very effective. Fantastic communications, Rob is very knowledgable and friendly with an inspiring work ethic. The initial job was completed within a very reasonable time frame considering all of the battles with the old server and hosting.

Their work ethic and desire to male sure that we've got exactly what we were after with added benefits.

They advised us on the architecture as well as on a design that would look great and had potential to convert visitors into registered customers. The emphasis was on getting online bookings through the site.
Once the new website was ready, they went the extra mile and helped us set up our emails on Microsoft Outlook, and then provided marketing advice on our LinkedIn and social media strategy. They also produced our business cards.
