Website Redesign & SEO for Garage Door Service Company
"They provide the quality of larger firms at significantly cheaper rates."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of 30-year-old garage door company. I took over for my father three years ago and expanded the business to include remodeling and painting services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Odd Duck Media?
I was interested in growing the company after I took over and wanted to revitalize our brand. After unsatisfactory results with a large media agency, I reached out to Odd Duck.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided a complete rebranding of our company, redesigning our website and creating a Facebook page. They provide ongoing SEO work and manage our email marketing campaigns, sending out newsletters and discounts to former and potential clients.
They also assisted with Google Adwords in the beginning, though we’ve since shifted away from that strategy.
What is the team composition?
I usually deal with Billy [Crawford, Partner, Odd Duck Media] and we haven't had any conflicts or issues. I have nothing but positive things to say about him.
How did you come to work with Odd Duck Media?
They were recommended to us.
How much have you invested with them?
We generally spend between $750–$1,000 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2017 and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our leads have improved dramatically. While our SEO rankings were inconsistent with our previous vendor, Odd Duck ensures that we rank at the top spot in web searches, generating multiple clicks per day.
How did Odd Duck Media perform from a project management standpoint?
We typically communicate through email, though I sometimes call directly. Billy always answers immediately or calls me back within minutes.
They provide weekly charts that detail which strategies are successful and show how many new clients we’ve received.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One of the biggest frustrations with our previous vendor was responsiveness. Because they were a huge company, it could take days to receive a response, even in the event of an emergency. Odd Duck provides better quality than their larger competitors, and their size allows them to provide a more personable experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, to be honest. I haven't had any issues.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be truthful and upfront about your needs. As long as Odd Duck’s team understands your goals, they'll accomplish the job at a reasonable rate.

Website Redesign & SEO for Auto Glass Repair Shop
"If you’re looking for a vendor that will give you their undivided attention, they’re your guys."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of RNR Auto Glass, an auto glass repair shop.
What challenge were you trying to address with Odd Duck Media?
We realized that younger customers shop almost exclusively online and needed a firm to establish and promote our digital presence. We had a negative experience with a previous vendor and wanted to work with a small, locally-owned agency.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Aside from existing Yelp and Google reviews, Odd Duck created our digital presence from scratch. They designed and built our website, incorporating a form that allows potential customers to contact us directly from the web. They set up links to our reviews and Better Business Bureau rating. They also created and manage our social media accounts.
They continue to provide digital marketing, providing SEO work and pay-per-click management through Google AdWords.
What is the team composition?
Billy [Crawford, Partner, Odd Duck Media] is our main contact. We also work with Ben [Enriquez, Founder & CEO, Odd Duck Media]. They’re really great to work with.
How did you come to work with Odd Duck Media?
I’m not especially tech-savvy. I met Billy coincidentally and began discussing my business challenges. Both he and Ben are incredibly nice people, so I decided hire them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2016 and our relationship is ongoing. I plan to continue working with them for as long as possible.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I receive between 10–15 leads through the website each day, with 90% converting into sales. That’s roughly a dozen jobs per day that we owe to their efforts.
The site layout is also very intuitive. A large number of our customers choose us based on our Better Business Bureau rating, so it’s helpful that web visitors can easily access that information.
How did Odd Duck Media perform from a project management standpoint?
I typically email them if I have a question, but Billy usually responds by visiting my shop since we both prefer face-to-face meetings. This makes me feel that they’re genuinely invested in the success of my business. I’ve spoken to their clients and they receive the same level of attention.
By visiting our business, they also get an excellent sense of our day-to-day operation and discover new ways to promote us. They’ll often notice details that they recommend promoting through our social media profiles.
They’re readily available, even on weekends, and work late hours if necessary to meet promised deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re independent, young, and extremely friendly. The work aggressively to help their clients and are genuinely interested in our success.
I recently had an emergency situation that forced me to close our office for a day. I was unsure how to inform our customers of the schedule change, but I texted Billy that Saturday night and he took care of everything, posting notices on our website and social media accounts. He even went by our shop personally to place a note on our front door. They’re extremely helpful and go the extra mile.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of a single thing they could do better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Our previous vendor was a large company and never gave us their full attention. This is not the case with Odd Duck. When you speak with Billy or Ben, they are 100% engaged and focused on solving your problems. If you’re looking for a vendor that will give you their undivided attention, they’re your guys.
Unlike the previous vendor, Odd Duck ensures consistent top SEO rankings. The website generates multiple clicks per day, resulting in an increase in leads. Their personable team provides a boutique experience, producing top quality results at reasonable rates.
