Scope of work for the project was to originally design and develop an entirely new website for Melbray, However there was no Brand so OCD went beyond the scope of work and created an entirely new brand identity so that the site felt cohesive and well executed. The key deliverables turned out to be: One company website and a full Brand Identity including motion graphics and assets that we could use on our Social media.

getting lot more flow through the business as the website has worked as a good place for new clients to check us out and see what we are about, it has also given clients lot more trust in us upfront rather than having to gain trust.

We began working with OCD studio in January 2023 on a project basis with the view to capturing 20+ case study videos for our website, organic and paid social, and general marketing. The series Our Event Creators looks to tell the story of the individual event organisers, across a number of industry, running events through Ticket Tailor. 

It focuses on the behind-the-scenes aspect of event management and then goes on to showcase why they use Ticket Tailor for their ticketing. Each episode is around 90 seconds and has a primary message aligning with our core brand values. We also get 3 shorter social cut-downs in a number of aspect ratios. So far we've released 3 episodes and have had nearly half a million views to date.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Our first 3 episodes have already had over 433k views combined, which we're very pleased with. We're yet to use the footage for paid marketing but once this is up and running, and we've built a new home for the videos on our website, we expect acquisition and conversion to increase.

OCD have been an absolute pleasure to work with - they reach every deadline and clearly communicate with us so we know exactly when to expect deliverables. They've also taken a lot of the admin and organisation off our plate, executing the briefs to near-perfection.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're laid-back, super creative culture - it's hard to put into words but they just 'get' our vision. And so far everyone in the Ticket Tailor team has been very impressed with the video output. We're exciting to keep working with OCD this year and can't wait to see this project go from strength to strength.

There's nothing we would want them to do differently. It's been a pleasure working with them.

I was rebranding a manufacturing business that produces garden pods.

We needed to create a suite of collateral that showcased the pods that we could use on social media, website and in our other marketing as there was no professional imagery in the business at that point.

OCD were recommended by a colleague and were local to our shoot, reasonably priced and responsive to our communications.

OCD Studio were hired to make 4 short films that we could use on the website and in our social media. We met over zoom to discuss the project, OCD made a plan and took my comments on board. They did a site visit and spent a day filming. They were prompt in their delivery and open to the suggestions we made to create a final edit that worked for us.

We worked with Callum, who was helpful and responsive over the phone and by email.

We have used the videos on the website, social media at a stand at a trade show. It always creates a very professional impression and the pods look their best.

They were very helpful and accommodating, and they worked hard to help deliver the outcome we needed.

I think that looking back the videos are very atmospheric, and lovely, but next time I would push to showcase the features of the pods themselves more.

The video was to celebrate the apothecary cabinet that we have added to one of our stores. We have worked closely with OCD and our set designer to create a wonderful and magical video which has been cropped for different channels. The video was great. When we posted it on Instagram reel it has been our most-watched video. We launched the video on Youtube ads and we have seen great results. The average watch time was 30 seconds which is good, knowing that the video was skippable after 5 seconds.

They used Milanote in order to create visual creative boards and it's been easy to communicate through email and over the phone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took time to get to know the brand before working with us. And they have a great approach plus they brought a magic touch in the image through different effects in the video.

Overall they did a great job, the space was quite small and we wanted to shoot some photography as well on the same day but it's was too ambitious and we would have needed an other day to do it.

LimeLight Sports Club is the rights-holder to 7 mass participation sports events across the UK. As Creative Lead, it is my responsibility to oversee and manage all aspects of graphic design, animation, and video production.

For what projects/services did your company hire OCD Studio, and what were your goals?

Video production and editing. The aim was produce event videos for all 7 of our events, as well as a 60 second reel that showcases LimeLight sports club as a whole.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

OCD have a young and contemporary edit style. A lot of our event videos in previous years had been very similar and verging on cheesy. OCD were a fresh pair of eyes that could put an exciting twist on our event videos, making them look more like "festivals of movement".

OCD are creating a series of event videos for us. Due to the fast paced nature of our events, we have had to work together with fairly quick turnarounds. Before each event, we have a briefing phone call to go through the logistics on the day. We then have an in person briefing the morning of the event, before filming commences. After the event, the editing process begins, and we go through 2-3 rounds of revisions before signing off the video. In all, the video turnaround is roughly 2-3 weeks.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We mainly worked with Harvey and Callum. They have been lovely to work with; extremely responsive and willing to go above and beyond for each project. The OCD team have been timely and organised with each of our briefs.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For LimeLight, this years videos have changed the way we look at storytelling for our events. The Etape Caledonia video specifically has had great traction in our paid advertising.

Callum and Harvey have been swift at responding to emails and regularly available to jump on last minute calls to discuss logistics. They produce high-quality videos despite the very fast turnaround time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I find most impressive about OCD is their ability to interpret creative briefs. In particular, the first edit of our ASICS London 10K was significantly different to our final edit. Once we had seen the first visuals, we were able to give a clearer brief of what we were looking for. Callum took this on board and produced exactly what was inside our heads!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of, I have enjoyed working together.

We had an old website that needed updating, so we needed someone to design a modern and seamless platform that's easy to edit ourselves.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

OCD Studio started the project by redeveloping the website on Adobe XD and publishing it on Webflow.

The team also resolved our broken plugins and modernized its UI/UX to garner more bookings from prospective customers.

They're currently providing us with ongoing maintenance and support for continuous improvements.

We've definitely had a lot more instant booking since partnering with OCD Studio. We had a user who booked 10-day passes for our studio the day we launched our website, which was an impressive feat.

They're great from a project management standpoint, as they're very attentive and easy to work with.

The communication is mainly done through emails and Slack.

OCD Studio created social content as part of a 6-month content campaign by repurposing content previously shot. After having an introduction call, I was sent a statement of work outlining their process and responsibility. With the help of OCD, I created a brief for the monthly content. They would share the content for reviews regularly so that updates could be made, and content could be delivered on time. Content was delivered in various aspect ratios so it could be easily repurposed across more platforms.

Harvey – Director of Video Reviewing content on vimeo was easy. Leaving feedback was simple as I could leave a note or speak to Harvey directly over the phone.
