Keeping our website up to date and safe, and being available to react quickly if we need assistance with our website and /or if we need it updating. AS a town council we must get documents on the website within a set number of days, to comply with Government guidelines.

Very little issues with website since we transferred across, previously we had all sorts of issues, with the website being down for weeks at a time.

Shaun our main point of contact is first class, he is a true professional, gets back to you quickly with solution, and does what he says that he will do and when he says he will do it. A true professional. They have a great and knowledgeable support team.

The present telephone answering service, which is outsourced could be improved, as the call takers are presently rather robotic/direct, however Shaun has assured me that this being reviewed/addressed

I am managing director for a magazine publisher Reader's Digest UK. We produce and publish content for print and online to generate wider brand outreach and to share our content with a worldwide audience.

Whilst we have an established heritage and a known brand, we wanted to further expand our outreach, but also improve our internal knowledge and understanding of SEO and social media best practice to improve our overall outreach and engagement with our content.

We reached out to several companies and made our selection based on the knowledge and experience of the team as well as the competitively priced solution offered to provide a mix of practical assistance and staff training.

We clearly outlined our goals and objectives, and worked together to develop an agreed plan of action. NxtWeb carried out research and conducted a full audit of our existing website SEO which took 4 weeks. Upon completion they provided a full audit report outlining suggested improvements to be made, and it was agreed our staff needed some formal SEO training.

NxtWeb liaised with our existing web development team to implement changes to our website, and conducted 6 training sessions with our team of staff on how to optimise our content for SEO. NxtWeb also carried out an audit of our social media, and have supported us with recommendations and scheduling our posts over a 6-month period.

We were assigned a main key project and account manager who liaised directly with us, and coordinated activities across their team. We had an SEO Manager run training for our team and provide all supporting training manuals. We also were assigned a social media specialist who has been helping us with social content.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Recorded 47% organic growth within the first month of our SEO strategy, and our pageviews have more than doubled over the last 3-6 months. We increased the number of top 3 keywords from 1436 in August 22nd to 2149 so far in October. We have achieved a 25% growth in traffic through social media.

The team have exceeded our expectations with the deliverables, and have maintained ongoing communication via email, phone and online meetings, and always been on hand for any ad-hoc queries as they have arisen. They are a friendly and professional team that have clearly demonstrated their expertise within SEO and social.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything was explained thoroughly, and their knowledge was extensive and fully adaptable to being mindful of our business needs. Always willing to jump on a phone call to talk through any queries or to explain any new initiatives to ensure all understood.

There isn't anything that comes to mind, as have been more than happy with the service we have received.

What challenge were you trying to address with NXTWEB Agency?

We needed to focus on the e-commerce side of our business to improve our visibility and sales. Therefore, we decided to start using experts to develop PPC campaigns on Google and other channels.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we gave NXTWEB a rundown of our business and how we wanted to do things, ensuring to leave some room for them to provide their expertise for the project. Since then, they’ve helped us create and manage PPC campaigns on Google. NXTWEB will likely be helping us with SEO in the future.

I work with two people from NXTWEB. Shaun (Digital Marketing Consultant) is our main point of contact, and another person is in charge of running the PPC ads.

We started working together around October 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since working with NXTWEB, we’ve definitely seen an increase in website traffic coming from our ads. The conversion rate has fluctuated due to different reasons, many of them out of their control. Still, we’ve also seen a relatively steady and consistent conversion rate. Moreover, our products are ranking highly in the spaces that are more cost-effective for us.

How did NXTWEB Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

NXTWEB’s project management has been great on all fronts; they never go over budget, and they’re very communicative. Shaun has always made himself available when needed, and we also have regular meetings and updates. We also get a monthly summary of our campaigns’ performance. We communicate via phone calls and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NXTWEB’s honesty and transparency are their more refreshing qualities. Other marketing companies we’ve worked with in the past have tried to sell us unrealistic campaign performance expectations that weren’t met. However, whenever Shaun tells us about certain targets, he hits those targets or gets pretty close. We know that if we spend money with NXTWEB, it’ll be well spent.

Moreover, NXTWEB never asks us to spend more money on ads. They appreciate and respect that we want to be conservative with our budget, and they do their best to make the most out of that budget. In comparison, other companies constantly try to make their clients increase their ad spend.

Are there any areas they could improve?

NXTWEB doesn’t have important areas of improvement. They’ve largely done what they’ve promised, so we couldn’t ask for more. We’re very happy with their services overall.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Firstly, know your business. Secondly, be transparent with them and tell them exactly what you want. If you provide NXTWEB with all the information they need, they’ll have a clearer picture of your business and goals, and they’ll be in a good position to help you achieve them.

We first employed NXTWEB to overall our SEO and PPC campaigns. They have subsequently carried out a complete redesign of our website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were introduced to them and their personal approach with easy explanations for the lay person made them an obvious choice. They did not try to blind us with marketing and web design science but laid out clearly how they could help us.

The PPC campaign required a thorough overhaul with a full review of all bidded on words and terms. This was condensed into a much tighter list which immediately say conversions increase. The SEO campaign also required a complete overhaul with a substantial increase immediately in backlinks which resulted in a greater presence in a very shorted space of time. The website was completely redesigned giving a much more modern look with mobile phone compatibility too.

We worked with Shaun as the main lead for the project. We also worked with Hassan from a design perspective. We worked with Ian on the PPC campaign.

We have seen a real and measurable increase in our lead generate and case conversion since the employment of NXTWEB.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NXTWEB Agency has updated our website, although the content has stayed the same. They’ve given the site a fresh, new look. For the development, NXTWEB Agency has used Elementor to ensure we can alter the content and design ourselves. They’ve continued to maintain the site. 

The site has a homepage that guides users through our services and links to our reviews. From there, users can understand how we can help them — the main portion of the site is a claims calculator. The claims calculator allows users to determine the worth of their claim based on their accident and the injury's severity and type. The claims calculator can generate over 2,000 options for our users. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with three teammates, including Shaun (Digital Marketing Consultant) and Hassan (Design Lead).

How did you come to work with NXTWEB Agency?

One of our other brands used NXTWEB Agency for their website. We initially weren’t planning on bringing on NXTWEB Agency, but our founder met them in person at a networking event. We got a quote from them and set up a meeting. After that meeting, which we went into expecting not to hire them, we decided to change our minds and engage them. 

So, when our personal injury brand needed website development assistance, we decided to bring NXTWEB Agency on board. We knew they’d do a good job. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested £8,000–£10,000 (approximately $9,600– $12,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

This project began around January 2020, and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website hasn’t launched yet — we’re going to launch it in 2023. We have access to the staged site, which works perfectly. The claims calculator is great — we’ve checked the results internally, and everything works as it should. 

How did NXTWEB Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Google Meet to communicate. They’re constantly communicating changes and updates with us — any changes in timelines are from our team. Our internal team has been slow to respond, but NXTWEB Agency has been accommodating our response speed. There were delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NXTWEB Agency manages project expectations very well. 

Since the site is on a staging platform, we can make comments directly on the staged version for NXTWEB Agency to implement. That functionality is very good — we can also upload photos on the platform. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What makes NXTWEB Agency so great is that we can just tell them what we want, and they’ll provide solutions. We don’t need a lot of technical knowledge to engage with them — they advise us on the best way for us to go forward with development. I appreciate that we can execute changes on our site without needing any expertise because of the tools NXTWEB Agency has used.  

Everything NXTWEB Agency does is professional, and they’re very approachable. We had a small issue with our other site, and NXTWEB Agency was able to step in and save the Google campaign connected to that site. Even though it wasn’t the main website project, Shaun really stepped up for us. They go above and beyond to help us out.

We’ve not had any issues with them across any of the projects we’ve done with NXTWEB Agency.
