cabio.pl
cabio.pl is an online platform where Uber, Bolt or Free Now drivers can meet their fleet partners.
Drivers can track earnings and report expenses. Partners can monitor the incomes and payout the drivers with only few mouse clicks.
NubiSoft designed and developed the application using modern web technologies (Vue, Spring Boot, Docker, PostgreSQL).

campstar
Campstar is an e-commerce platform for campers, campground owners and RV suppliers. It offers accommodation and camper-vans online booking across the globe.
NubiSoft was responsible for enhancing existing MVP to become a production-ready solution. We used our technical capabilities to create a cloud-native application that is scalable, secure and integrates with number of external APIs and services.

trystory.app
Story is a intuitive and powerful web application to keep track of daily or weekly progress on any kind of project. Due to a novel UI it helps remote teams to collaborate efficiently from project inception to finish.
The idea of creating Story comes from Triptech - a company based in Vancouver, Canada. They were looking for a partner, who can quickly implement MVP as per provided design. After first round of interviews with selected companies they decided to engage NubiSoft, as we were able to convince them we can meet tight deadlines. And we actually did! In a less then a month we developed a full-fledged web application, which has even more features than we included in the initial scope. It was possible due to the right technical and architectural decisions we made and our commitment to quality.
At present Story is being evaluated by a PhD students which use it to collaborate while doing their research.
During the development of Story application, we addressed the following challenges:
- scalable, multi-tenant relational data model (PostgreSQL)
- large file upload and storage (S3)
- containerization (Docker)
- automated CI/CD pipelines
Technology Stack:
- React
- Groovy + Spring (Boot, Security, Jdbc)
- PostgreSQL
- Docker
- AWS

ezlapka.pl
It is a web application for medical doctors enabling them to issue electronic sick leave notes. It works great on both desktop and mobile devices. A lot of efforts have been done to make the UI/UX very intuitive so that the doctor won't waste his time in front of the computer but rather spent it taking care of a patient.
NubiSoft developed this software from scratch and is offering it as a SaaS solution on the polish market.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the co-founder of Yappiez, a service that connects pet owners to veterinarians and pet insurance providers.
What challenge were you trying to address with NubiSoft?
We were looking for a company to help us seize the opportunity to digitize the growing pet care market, including searches for veterinarians and veterinary services. We wanted a digital but holistic approach to connect pet owners to pet care.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NubiSoft designed, developed, and now hosts our pet care platform. We provided NubiSoft with the initial scope of the MVP that we needed to be produced based on our company’s vision and mission. NubiSoft then went and scoped those products to various platforms.
We went ahead and designed the products with a UX designer from NubiSoft. The frontend of the platform allows veterinarians to display their products and services and lets customers find veterinarians in the German and Polish markets.
Then, customers can use the platform to create appointments with pet care providers that can be done in-person, at home, or through video. To facilitate these actions, NubiSoft integrated video chat and appointment management features. They also integrated Stripe to facilitate payments through the platform.
NubiSoft also put together a backend functionality to connect users to insurance companies that cover pet care. We are currently in the beta version of the platform.
What is the team composition?
We work with 3–4 teammates, including the two co-founders, the UX designer, and a frontend developer.
How did you come to work with NubiSoft?
We worked with NubiSoft on another project in the travel industry and had a great experience with them. I was aware they had experience in digitizing healthcare, so I reached out to them when I wanted to put the platform together.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around €40,000 (approximately $45,000 USD) with NubiSoft.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in November 2020 and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we are still in the beta version, it is tough to measure KPIs, so I don’t have a lot of feedback. However, we’ve gotten positive feedback from veterinarians and insurance companies on our current version of the platform.
How did NubiSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
NubiSoft is very professional. Their high-level technical experience has facilitated a productive partnership, and they are as good as expected in terms of project management.
Since we’re partnering on multiple projects, we generally triage projects based on capacity, but we’re 90% on target towards meeting our timelines.
We use Microsoft Planner and Trello to manage the project and we have weekly video conferences.
What did you find most impressive about them?
For this project, NubiSoft’s pragmatic approach to technology combined with their market knowledge distinguishes them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
On the design side, some of the feedback loops could be improved. We aren’t thrilled with the toolkit they use; we’ve used other feedback tools that are much more efficient.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Customers need to give NubiSoft a detailed project briefing and have a good kickoff to ensure the project scope is clear. NubiSoft’s services are a good value for the cost, and they rely on a good briefing so they can be best equipped to provide a quality service.
Also, since NubiSoft is based in Poland, it’s important to have a clear understanding upfront about the project so there are no misunderstandings due to the language barrier later.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the product lead of Campstar, an online platform for everything related to camping. We’re based in Vienna, Austria, and we founded the company in early 2021. Our platform compares all RVs in the world as well as booking rentals.
What challenge were you trying to address with NubiSoft?
Travel got hit because of the pandemic, so we paused our business and did a restart. We got funding from investors, and the challenge was to get everything up to speed in a few weeks. We had paused our technology for almost one year, so everything was old. We then reintroduced all the APIs to worldwide suppliers. As a result, we needed to get our website itself up and running.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NubiSoft handles our technology end to end; they spearhead our design efforts, full-stack development, database management, and DevOps. We provide them with API documentation, and we set their task priorities. So far, they've built our site on React, JavaScript, and Spring Boot.
They ensure that all APIs for our RV suppliers are working smoothly and fast. NubiSoft has also implemented payment integrations on our site, and they've designed our supplier onboarding playbook. On top of that, they've built a booking confirmation feature, enabled us to add suppliers that don't have APIs, and more.
What is the team composition?
They have around eight people in place, including database engineers, a full-stack developer, two frontend developers, and a backend developer. They also have an interim CTO who manages everything on their end. We're also working closely with their designers.
How did you come to work with NubiSoft?
I previously worked with other companies, and some of them didn't have the right experience. On the other hand, NubiSoft offered good value for money, and the level of their seniors was good enough for us. They also had a deep knowledge of what they were doing, and they had the ability to provide excellent code.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent €200,000 (approximately $235,000 USD). We’ve worked on both a fixed-price as well as time and materials basis.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing work with NubiSoft began in January 2021. We already have an end date, but I plan to continue working with them. I’m pretty sure they feel the same way.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our third-party customers are happy with the features of our site such as the booking page. Our platform is intuitive and working much better than before, and our bug count has also dropped. We're thankful that they're developing a scalable product for us. That's important because we provide our services worldwide, in different languages.
More importantly, we trust NubiSoft because we know what we're getting from our money. Overall, we've had a good experience working with them; they don't just deliver, they think alongside us about what we can do to make the site better.
How did NubiSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Jira and Kanban boards as our project management tools. Then, we use Microsoft Teams as our daily communication tool. We also have sprint reviews and two-week sprints. Overall, the team delivers on time, and they achieve the milestones we agree on.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They quickly understand what we want from a product management perspective. NubiSoft executes our project well, and they produce good quality work in a very short time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Our email didn’t work in the beginning because we were using a very cheap provider, but we were able to solve it. As a result, I don’t have anything the team can improve at the moment.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Clearly communicate what you want. That way, NubiSoft will be able to deliver what you expect. Keep in mind that they’re flexible, and they can cover the entire stack that you need. I’m pretty sure that you’ll be satisfied with their efficiency.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a co-founder of the Polish company named ComfortWay that helps drivers to cooperate with taxi app providers such as Uber, Bolt, FreeNow by offering billing and car rental services. Having licenses for passenger transport in the largest Polish cities, we are the national leader in this industry.
For what projects/services did your company hire NubiSoft, and what were your goals?
Working with hundreds of drivers, we know how important their service is in terms of response time and reliability. In order to better scale our business, we have recently started using an online platform, which supports some of the processes necessary for the proper handling of our drivers. The seamless integration of that platform with our existing infrastructure was the task for which we started cooperation with NubiSoft. Our goal was to create one consistent IT system for our drivers and employees that would be an ecosystem of our services compatible with the platform we started to use.
How did you select NubiSoft and what were the deciding factors?
By searching online resources, we managed to find a company that not only has the technical qualifications to achieve the goals set, but also has the greatest experience so far in Poland in the field of integration with taxi application platforms. It was NubiSoft.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
NubiSoft has created a dedicated website for us, implemented some backoffice services and implemented their integration with the platform we started to use.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
During the implementation of this project, we contacted directly three people from NubiSoft - the project manager, business analyst and UI designer. We didn't need to meet the development team in person, so I don't know how many people it consisted of.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The law "Lex Uber", recently introduced in Poland, began to regulate the market of taxi services provided through taxi-applications. Unfortunately, this increased the level of bureaucracy, which results in time-consuming licensing for each of our new drivers. Thanks to the computerization of other processes, we have more time needed to deal with official matters.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
As I mentioned, NubiSoft already had extensive experience in the taxi application services industry. This allowed them to thoroughly understand our needs (even without much formalizing system requirements), and what's more, they came up with their own initiatives to improve our processes. Weekly working meetings were enough for us to supervise the ongoing work.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
NubiSoft was very responsive to all our queries. If we found a bug or a problem they immediately came up with a solution. For us, who are not professionals in the IT world, the most valuable thing was the ability to communicate with NubiSoft using human language, not the hermetic IT language used in large corporations. The flexibility of cooperation was also valuable, as we modified the scope of work after the project implementation began.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Our cooperation began during the intensification of COVID-19, and our company did not have much experience in holding remote meetings using instant messaging such as Skype or Zoom. So it didn't go very smoothly at first, but later they set up their own browser-based conference call service and we've had no problems since then.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of an e-commerce company and we are a global platform helping enable eCommerce Services to growing online brands.
For what projects/services did your company hire NubiSoft, and what were your goals?
Generally, we were looking for a reliable yet affordable software house for implementing several ongoing projects, so because we wanted to commit to long-term cooperation, it took a lot of effort to find the right partner who will be able to keep the scope and comprehensively implement our ideas so that we would not have to subcontract parts of the project to other companies.
Finally, we decided to start the collaboration with NubiSoft. The goal of this project was to automate the management of generating shipments and accounting for them correctly. Since our business grew a lot, we were unable to manage it efficiently using spreadsheets. NubiSoft was hired to streamline our shipping and accounting processes to ensure they were always in sync
How did you select NubiSoft and what were the deciding factors?
By searching online resources, and holding skype reviews with the most promising ones, during which we were assessing both technical and organizational skills and also experience.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
NubiSoft has created a dedicated web app for us. Also, they imported some of the pasted data we were using to provide a seamless start using this new solution. We started development by having them record our work flows via video and document processes to define ways that we could "digitize" them and enable us to streamline them with a custom app.
We would hold weekly meetings to go over their progress, and they would present options for key decisions. The app ended up being built with various technologies behind the scenes and deployed on digital ocean.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Despite the fact that Nubisoft is a company with over twenty employees, we had the opportunity to work directly with the core of its founders. Among them was the project manager, product owner and head of the development team.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The outcomes of the project even exceeded our expectations. They not only enabled us the scaling our business but also enabled us to provide far better quality to our customers in terms of system availability, speed of service, and the ability to view transaction history thanks to data versioning.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Since we are on two different continents, all cooperation took place remotely. The project was carried out agile. The control of the work progress on our part was possible thanks to weekly meetings.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Because they have extensive experience in mission critical systems, they advised us not only in terms of functionality, but also infrastructure, so as to adjust our needs to the requirements of the availability and responsiveness of the system, and at the same time not to expose us to high costs that may result from the use of overestimated cloud services.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing comes to mind at the moment.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am founder and CTO of Triptech Inc. a small software startup in Vancouver. We build custom made SaaS products to local businesses. Our main clientele are in academics and education sector.
For what projects/services did your company hire NubiSoft, and what were your goals?
We wanted to build an MVP for a new product. We needed a skilled team to deliver the product, given the circumstances:
- Time constraint: we wanted this to be shipped fast
- Agility: the features and design were changing during the development as we were getting feedback
- Technology: we were very specific about the tech stack that is used for this purpose.
- Attention to details: we wanted to test not only the features but also the aesthetics of the MVP as it is being tested in the pilot with some beta users
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had three rounds of interview with Nubisoft. We asked to provide us with time and budget estimate. We were very picky about the expertise and ability to communicate. After two face to face interviews on Skype, we were sure that Nubisoft was the team that could be up to our standards.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The goal was to make a minimum viable product (MVP) for a productivity app. We broke down the project into small pieces. We provided Nubisoft with detail design of the UX and UI elements. The project was developed from the scratch, and finally deployed on our servers, and it is now ready to use.
Features included timeline, projects and member, updates and missing updates, comments, notification, calendar, etc. Tech stack: Java Spring, React, Postgres, AWS
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We were in direct communication with 3 members of Nubisoft. The manager, backend and frontend developer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The delivered project was up to our expectations. We will continue our collaboration with Nubisoft during the pilot.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The team was always available for a call. We had daily update in form of text or call in Skype. Project management and ticketing was done in Gitlab.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Nubisoft has brought a great expertise. We were impressed by ease of communication. The engineers are very focused and can take most of the job with minimal guidance. Every time we had something missing in our design or logic of the app, they were able to suggest changes, alternatives or improvements.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Great job overall.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a founder of a company that helps drivers from main polish cities to earn money by using driving applications such as Uber, Bolt, and FreeNow. We help them pay taxes, get required licenses, etc.
For what projects/services did your company hire NubiSoft?
As for now all settlements with drivers were done manually. We had to download CSV files from Uber/Bolt, convert them to our internal format by hand and then use an excel spreadsheet to calculate the payout amount. Later we need to export it to PDF and attach it to a personalized email we send to a driver.
Also, bank transfers were done manually. All data files we produced were stored on a local disk, which we need to constantly backup. This was a serious blocker to grow our business since it was a time consuming and error-prone process.
What were your goals for this project?
We asked NubiSoft to develop a web application, which would streamline the settlement process and give drivers on-line access to the settlement details and payouts.
How did you select this vendor?
NubiSoft was recommended by a freelancer which we hired previously to do the MVP. Because we had a lot of ideas and tight deadlines he wasn't able to complete the project and contacted us with them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
NubiSoft designed, implemented and deployed the full flagged product from the ground up. After spending a few days discussing all business rules and requirements they started to provide milestones every 2 weeks. We then had time to review and gave them feedback. Once the core system functionality was stable they started to propose new features and improvements which added additional value to the whole system (like using QR code for bank transfers, email notifications, etc.).
What was the team composition?
The project team was about 4 people plus one dedicated person for contact, which acted as a manager. The team provided all required artifacts for each component of the system like database design, UI/UX, backend services and API integrations.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
With the new web application, we can now complete the settlement process for all drivers in a couple of hours rather than 2-3 days like before. Thanks to the cloud technologies they used the problem of data backup and security were also solved. We now can focus on other parts of our business and hire new drivers in new cities.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was arranged very well. The team delivered the work mostly on time. In case of any issues, we had quick calls that solved the problems. Every two week we had a demo/review where we discussed the road map and did the prioritization.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
NubiSoft was very responsive to all our queries. If we found a bug or a problem they immediately came up with a solution.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The minor thing that could be improved is that they changed the final UI/UX a few times which caused that we had to change our habits while using/testing the application. But overall it was a gain because now the UI is very clean and ergonomic.

I am the co-founder of CodeCape and serve there as CFO and Project Manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire NubiSoft?
Lately, we were engaged by Asseco Poland company to help with building a broker of medical events. A part of this project was an infrastructure to share medical events between several parties of the whole solution. We designed a component fulfilling this requirement basing on the JMS standard. Asseco asked us to implement a so designed component but we had no free development resources to do that. So we subcontracted this task to NubiSoft company.
What were your goals for this project?
The main goal was to deliver a new solution to integrate the platform being built by Asseco with components of other vendors. The aim was to do it in an asynchronous way using some queuing mechanisms to limit the efficiency impact on the main database.
How did you select this vendor?
After some research on the Internet, we luckily found the potential vendor having an office located in the same office building as we are. We talked to them inviting them to make an offer (similarly like with some others), and it appeared that their offer was the most attractive.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We have provided an overall design and business requirements. All the other was on the NubiSoft side. They took care of the detailed project, setting up a development environment with all the continuous integration stuff and with unit testing. They also prepared as-built technical documentation. They worked using agile methodology giving us feedback every two weeks.
What was the team composition?
The NubiSoft team consisted of scrum master, system architect, two developers and one tester working also as a documentalist. We provided the product owner from our side.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Subcontracting development activities to NubiSoft have let us focus on our main specialization - i.e. consulting. Our programmers were busy this time on other projects so it also allowed meeting the deadlines for other customers.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The cooperation was very fruitful. The meeting dates were kept. The deadline was kept as well. Because we are often working remote (at the client offices), we were communicating with NubiSoft team not only in person. We were using slack and skype and also dedicated software development platforms such as Jira and Gitlab as well.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
What impressed us the most, was the technical skills of all the team, but also the feeling of responsibility of each development team member for the final product. They introduced some valuable conceptual improvements to our design.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Honestly this time we are not able to point any improvement areas.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CFO and co-founder of Campstar, a camping startup. We do bookings for camping, onsite accommodations, rentals.
What challenge were you trying to address with NubiSoft?
We needed help with web development, and as a lean startup, we lacked enough tech developers on our side to make it happen ourselves.
What was the scope of their involvement?
After some initial meetings with NubiSoft, we decided to use them to do programming for our tech stack. They helped us define what we want. Our product manager sent the definitions to NubiSoft on exactly what we wanted to achieve.
NubiSoft worked on both front- and backend. They developed the booking engine for the campground facility and connected it to the channel managers—that way, we had instant bookability for our customers. They implemented all the features like payment, login, and back office features for our customer care engines. There was a lot of backend work.
They developed our self-management tool for campgrounds: it lets each campground can put their profiles up and change it whenever they want. They also helped us a lot with the frontend development. We had our own UX designers that defined what we wanted and how it should work. They did the entire work for campground booking in terms of frontend design.
For the RV booking, NubiSoft mainly did the design, but also in several aspects for the backend as well. We did the main part of the RV booking backend, but they did some microservices like payments.
What is the team composition?
Some weeks, there are 2–3 people; sometimes, there are 5-6. It all depends on the speed and needs we have. They are very flexible and adjust to our needs.
How did you come to work with NubiSoft?
We got acquainted through some family connections.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2018, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We got a lot of highly positive feedback from our customers and investors after NubiSoft implemented the work that they did. Features like our search bar started to work much better than before, and the number of bugs dropped. The design is very intuitive. We’ve had a good experience working with them.
How did NubiSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
The beginning was difficult at first, but after a few weeks, we adjusted to each other. We had a lot of conversations, and it worked really well. As a team of professionals, NubiSoft has a lot of experience and knows what they’re doing. They ask questions to make sure they understood what it is we wanted to achieve. We worked in sprints and were on time 99% of the time. We also used project management tools to guide the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
NubiSoft's main asset is the seniority of its developers. They have a very clear picture of what they want to deliver and can explain how they’d solve problems before delivery. Because of their experience in a lot of different projects, they can quickly turn around solutions that are scalable and up-to-date with the newest technologies. We can really rely on NubiSoft.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In the beginning, we lost 1–2 weeks in finding how we work together. In the initial workshop, it’d be better that they propose the way they’d like to work with us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate clearly with them, and they’ll deliver what you expect. You need to give them a precise description and agreed-upon price if you want them to work in this way.

For what projects/services did your company hire NubiSoft, and what were your goals?
We are bringing a prototype to production cloud software and need DevOps support to manage servers.
How did you select NubiSoft and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online and then interviewed candidates. NubiSoft showed competence and intelligent answers during the interview as well as fluent English.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
