NRPR and Heal Cure the Hassle of Doctors Visit During Flu Season
Our client, Heal, the leader in doctor house calls, offers people the convenience of seeing a highly qualified, certified doctor in the convenience of their home. Due to more time indoors and changes in our biology, winter is a time when more people suffer from colds and flu. First working with Heal in January 2016, NRPR hit the ground running on proactive pitching to promote Heal’s convenience and benefits during the ugly flu season. For those already suffering from the flu, and for those suffering from flu-like symptoms who weren’t sure whether or not what they had was the flu, we promoted real patients who actually used a Heal doctor without having to leave their home. Through multiple patient testimonials, used to reinforce the message of patient satisfaction with the Heal app and service, we were able to move quickly and share real stories that would further help real people, while spreading the good word about Heal and all its benefits.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of content strategy for a mobile camera and photo editing platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with NRPR Group?
We were creating a company video reel that would help us highlight our mission and value proposition when talking to clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped define our marketing strategy. We initially took some time to ensure that they understood our company. After, they put together a document that we used as our jumping ff point. From there, they wrote copy and helped construct and edit finished pieces.
They constructed the video using graphics and a voiceover.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a team of about five people, but Nicole (Owner & Principal) was my primary contact.
How did you come to work with NRPR Group?
My boss met Nicole at a conferenced in Los Angeles.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I thought their service was exceptional. Their follow-up was timely, and their work was thorough. They were able to synthesize our feedback and implement it in their work. They had a lot of expertise and a sense of direction for the project as well.
How did NRPR Group perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated over email, and we had daily check-ins. We could also reach them over text if there was something urgent. They were great at meeting deadlines. I don’t have any complaints.
What did you find most impressive about them?

I am the CEO and Founder of Beverly Hills Publishing. We are a 7star full-service book publishing and marketing company that publishes books for thought leaders in 90 days.
For what projects/services did your company hire NRPR Group?
We engage NRPR for the book launch PR and publicity when the client is being published.
What were your goals for this project?
To get authority credibility for our clients as the author of their newly published book.
How did you select NRPR Group?
Networking in Beverly Hills, I was looking for a partner who I can grow and scale with to build the premier publishing agency in the world.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
NRPR schedules an initial call with the client to understand their message and the positioning of their book. After the messaging call, NRPR crafts a media release that goes out to all the press.
NRPR then schedules interviews for the client based on the book and the target market of the messaging. NRPR is fully engaged with the client to support them before, during, and after the interview to get the best content and media exposure.
What was the team composition?
We work with 6 people from the NRPR team to support our clients who have published a book with us. The team has grown to support us as we engage more clients to become published authors.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have had tremendous success with the strategy of publishing the book in 90 days and then engaging NRPR to get press and publicity for the book launch. One of our clients became a contributor to Entrepreneur.
Another client got her first $1,000,000 investor after she engaged our services. One client became a contributor for Forbes. All of our clients have been thrilled with the level of service and the results that NRPR has provided.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
My team and I work very well together. We are on weekly calls to communicate about projects that are in the works and also coming up in the pipeline. We also have ongoing communication through emails and calendars. NRPR publishes both weekly and monthly summaries for our clients and to me to see the results of all our clients' success.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Nicole Rodrigues is a visionary and a powerful leader for herself, her team, and her industry. I have worked with multiple PR companies that did not generate any leads or interviews.
NRPR is the best PR company we have ever worked with, and the leadership team is constantly expanding its vision. I can say they are an invaluable asset to our business because thanks to their efforts, we can guarantee that our publishing clients get results.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I am blown away with every level of working with NRPR, and they are constantly impressing me by innovating their systems and processes. I would not improve on anything. They are rock stars.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
Alpha Investing is a real estate private equity firm. I’m one of the four partners and also act as the VP of strategy.
What challenge were you trying to address with NRPR Group?
We wanted to get some PR exposure for our company. We’re a private and discreet company, so we just needed a bit of visibility to ultimately get high-net-worth investors to sign with us. It was about building trust through PR and media.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NRPR Group led PR campaigns to garner investor interest and build our impressions. These campaigns were opportunities for us to give a voice and thought to real estate and investor-related issues. I wrote a few contributed articles for them to promote, and they also supported me on some speaking engagements that I was involved with including podcast appearances and a TED Talk.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Nicole (Founder & CEO), and I also interacted a lot with Lynda (Marcoms Director).
How did you come to work with NRPR Group?
I’d worked with NRPR Group in the past to launch a startup, and it was a massive success. Naturally, I wanted to engage with them again for this firm, albeit it’s a different kind of company.
How much have you invested with them?
It was about $4,000–$5,000 per month.

We engaged them for about six months between March–September 2019.

They mostly helped by getting me exposure because I’m more of the front-facing person for the company. They got me on some podcasts, and I was able to contribute articles to publications. Those were big wins for us in terms of elevating our company profile.
How did NRPR Group perform from a project management standpoint?
The team was a pleasure to work with. They were very organized, stayed on point, and delivered on time and budget. In terms of communication tools, we coordinated through email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The reason why I continue to work with NRPR Group is because I know Nicole. She’s passionate and dedicated to her commitments to her clients. Nicole goes for it. She’s always willing to do something different to support me, even if it’s outside of the original scope.
I also really appreciate that she’s not there to nickel and dime me on the contract. Instead, she does what it takes to support us so that we can elevate our profile. She’s here for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t see anything that they should necessarily improve. They’re pretty much on top of things.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Set yourself up for success by being clear about what you want to get out of the engagement. You need to understand how PR works and helps you. It’s not a lead generation tool. Rather, PR is meant to build up your company’s reputation in your target audience’s eyes. Be prepared to be put in the spotlight and know what the end goal is.
