Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of Moksha- meditate on the go
For what projects/services did your company hire Nozomi - Digital Health Product Studio?
We realized that our app needed a complete redo to better reach our audience. We hired Nozomi to redo our Mobile app UI/UX.
How did you select this vendor?
We saw their case studies on LinkedIn.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Their team did a deep dive on our product and customers. They quickly organized mood boards that best aligned with our brands message and then set up a notion page outlining deadlines and project updates. The process was collaborative and efficient.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with almost everyone on the team from their CEO to their lead designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our app retention has excelled. Active users went from using the app for under 30 seconds to spending on average of 2 minutes. More features are being used on the app as well.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
10/10. I have worked with many firms in the past but Nozomi was one of the most efficient workflows. Each person on their team is highly skilled for their role making them very easy to work with.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The level of organization and communication. I never needed to check in on progress because the notion was updated daily- I could see their work being done in real time on figma as well.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the cofounder of a digital health/hardware startup located in NYC.
For what projects/services did your company hire Nozomi - Digital Health Product Studio, and what were your goals?
We needed an iOS app to enable therapists to control our wireless "tappers" used in a PTSD therapy called EMDR.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We homed in on dev shops that had a focus on digital health and ones that had a focus on developing for IoT/hardware. Tons of dev shops wanted to build our app on React, which wasn't going to work for us. Nozomi got the job because they had deep health experience, more reasonable rates, willingness to develop in native Swift, and a desire to learn IoT principles.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Deliverables: an iOS app built with Swift that would enable control of our "EMDR Tappers" (iOT devices) that we built on our end. The app needed to allow for persistent control of the tappers even if the app was in the background or if the phone was asleep. This app had to work in-person (connecting to tappers directly to control them) and and remotely (connecting to a client's smartphone over the internet to control tappers in a different location).
The app also needed to work with screens developed in-house. Steps included: mobile (Architecture and data model development, BLE module R&D, Onboarding & Registration, Home screen, In-person session flow + device adjustments, Remote session flow, remote connection with backend and session establishment, BLE device status and parameter configuration, BLE device listing, Functional QA, Performance QA) and backend (Data model architecture and patient/client interaction flow, Authentication API, Therapist/Patient connection, Functional QA) development. Technologies used: iOS, Swift, Firebase, Testflight, Bluetooth Libraries
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We spent most of our time with two iOS devs. At points we also worked with a UI expert and a project manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Nozomi scoped best-case and worst-case work break down structures based on specifics of our project, and got to work. They were quick to share updates on the product, and we had access to the app on Testflight as we went so that we could perform tests on our end.
When requested, they gave us the github repo so we always had ownership of the deliverables. Since we were going from 0 to 1, I can't speak to the performance of the app compared to previous versions, but we were happy with the way the app looked and worked.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had easy communication styles typically handled through Slack. Meetings were held about every other week (and as needed). They went above and beyond by meeting at hours that were convenient for us (we're based between California and New York, which are 8 - 11 hours behind Nozomi's time zone).
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
There are many dev shops out there that do mobile and web work. Few of them specialize in a particular market. Fewer still commit to health and wellness products.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Honestly, not much to change here. They did work on time, and as far as we could tell it was good work.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm CTO of Allbry. We work with student healthcare in school.
For what projects/services did your company hire Nozomi - Digital Health Product Studio, and what were your goals?
We hired Nozomi to develop our new platform for student healthcare. We wanted a platform that had great design, security, flexabilty and scalability. Both as a web platform but also as a mobile app.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched for studios and had a couple of good ones, but none of them compared to Nozomi. We chose them based on multiple factors such as design skills, project skills, development skills and price.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We worked very close so instead of us being two different teams, we worked as one team. We described what needed to be done with requirements and they came with great ideas to expand those requirements. We had weekly meetings and sometimes more often where we discussed everything. We used React, React Native and Express technologies.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Project manager, a handful of developers, a designer, Q&A tester, architect and a couple more.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Both us and the clients love the new platform. We had barely any issues after launch. The code and design was written in a way that we could easily take it and continue developing.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Close communication, with all team members. They worked agile with sprints so it was easy to estimate when features were being made.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Perfect teamwork where they describe everything in details with many demos. Code and design that is easy to build on. They have enormous creativity and their ideas and problem solving abilities are great.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not at all. Everything was handled perfectly. I can't see that any other studio would have done it even close to as good as Nozomi did.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of a productivity and wellness start-up. We built tools that help people practice better productivity and wellness habits.
For what projects/services did your company hire Remdev Studio, and what were your goals?
We hired Remdev Studio to create 2 niche products in the wellness and productivity space. One being a chrome-extension and a web app and another being a fitness app for a smartwatch. Our goal was to create a modern app that helps the user practice productive browser habits whilst still practicing wellness throughout their workday.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We wanted to work with someone who has deep health/wellness expertise and someone who is able to articulate our product vision through good design and great code. Remdev stood out amongst all the others that we talked to and were able to deliver on the project. We spoke to 4 other vendors and Remdev's communication style and design preference and willingness to not just listen, but also augment our vision was what stood out.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
from initial discussions to a formal kickoff to a phased development until finish, everything was well articulated and tracked by Remdev Studio. We first started with mock-ups and designs to understand the user workflow(s) and built a clickable prototype that I could use for my customer development and testing/interviews. Once I had enough data that the idea/designs resonated with our customer profile, we kicked off the development work.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
a lead project manager was working with us throughout the entire process and we have 2 other developers and 2 designers working with us to get this project to fruition. Remdev's built up a solid team of engineers and designers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The deliverables were all on time and we went through a couple iterations to get the final product just right. The product is now in private beta and so far the feedback we've received has been amazing. With Remdev's support, we were able to go through our test/measure cycle pretty rapidly and are confident of a product that will resonate with our end users
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
we used slack, JIRA and zoom as primary collaboration tools. We used figma as a design and mock-up tool and notion to record our interactions/meeting notes, etc. Remdev's response rate was impeccable, every question I had was answered in a timely fashion.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What I found most impressive and unique is that Remdev wants to be an expert in their field. Their focus on the wellness/health and productivity space is what attracted us to them in the first place. They have deep expertise in the area, especially from a software development perspective.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
having a customer facing dashboard to showcase the entire journey of interaction visually would be great, but that's just because I am a visual person. Remdev could probably whip this up in no time for me, if I request to do so. Other than that, nothing else.
