Big ideas, in-house video, tech, and more.

Rich content for the news feed economy.

Today's best brands build content. A ton of it. But traditional partners haven't stepped up to the plate, offering buzzword-laden strategies with little execution.

NOTICE is a collection of content creators, technologists, and marketers on a mission to help you connect with your audience through big ideas, video, rich imagery, and unique experiences.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the advertising manager of a museum in Chicago. It is one of the top natural history museums in the country. I manage the ad and media agencies. I do a lot of copywriting and all of our experiential campaigns.

What challenge were you trying to address with NOTICE?

We had an experiential campaign that we were launching for our Terracotta Warrior expedition. We created 6 life-size replicas of the Terracotta Warriors and we wanted them to pop up all over the city. We didn’t have a team to capture that, so we hired NOTICE to come up with a strategy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NOTICE helped us come up with the best strategy to introduce the characters around Chicago. We used a scavenger hunt and hashtag strategy. They brought in some social media influencers that they worked well with to start the campaign. NOTICE came to the museum and met with our team. We decided to produce 3 videos of different lengths. They did 15-second, 60-second, and 90-second versions of each video. Our anthropological team reviewed the videos and gave feedback. They caught people’s reaction to the campaign using video and photos, then posted teaser videos on social media.

How did you come to work with NOTICE?

The director of marketing had worked with Nick in the past at a previous agency. She was impressed with his level of dedication and his talent. In the first meeting, they brought their whole team. Even then, they had done their research and were excited about the project.

How much have you invested with NOTICE?

The project cost us between $10,000 to $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our project with them has been completed.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

As an institution, we saw a lot of engagement from our employees. In the past, we’ve done a lot of general ad campaigns. NOTICE’s photos and videos were shared museum-wide and it got people excited. Our staff was going out to find the replicated warriors even though we have the real ones here.

How did NOTICE perform from a project management standpoint?

It was helpful to have someone organizing and coordinating all the shoots.

What did you find most impressive about NOTICE?

They were so attentive and every person from NOTICE was involved. The personal touch was great. As a non-profit, we often don’t get the top people from a team to work with. This wasn't the case with NOTICE.

Are there any areas NOTICE could improve?

The only thing I would’ve done differently was to have a little bit more in terms of measurement, but that had nothing to do with NOTICE. We were running on a short timeline.
