Your ideas, our mission
We’ve been crafting solutions and products for our customers since 2006, and we are as young at heart now as we were when we started.
As both technology and customer expectations evolved, we were always at the leading edge, driven by our ultimate goal: making our customers happy. To achieve that, we communicate all along the way, we apply our own critical thinking and pitch our ideas, we become close partners and friends, not just mere consultants.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a real estate agency called Capitliu Imobiliare.
What challenge were you trying to address with Nordlogic Software?
We sought a more efficient method for posting properties on various platforms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Nordlogic developed a CRM that linked to our WordPress website, among other platforms. They built the CRM in PHP. The system enables us to present properties to various markets with a click. Now, their team is updating our website.
What is the team composition?
We work with two different project managers and two developers.
How did you come to work with Nordlogic Software?
A friend who previously worked with Nordlogic connected me with them. We discussed my goals and then came to an agreement to work together.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent roughly $20,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around November 2020, and it’s an ongoing engagement.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The system enables us to upload a property and then distribute it to numerous sites with a click of a button. It saves us 30–60 minutes per property. We’re extremely satisfied.
How did Nordlogic Software perform from a project management standpoint?
They communicate clearly. Everything runs smoothly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re friendly and treat us well. Nordlogic works quickly, which I appreciate.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of ways for them to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re professionals you can trust.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of IT Highway. We provide IT software and consulting.
What challenge were you trying to address with Nordlogic Software?
I needed someone to support us with software development for a third-party client.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed an online platform for a customer in Germany who offered jobs to students, as well as iOS and Android mobile apps. It includes a payment functionality for billing and payment system, and a booking process from the student and customer sides. Each of those has their own backend.
The apps are for students to be notified about jobs and if they are booked, while helping the companies to maintain better contact with students. Nordlogic used an Amazon Server. The frontend is Angular and JavaScript, while the backend is Express.js.
What is the team composition?
There was a project manager, 3-4 developers, an Android developer, and a iOS developer. My main point of contact was Andrei (CEO, Nordlogic Software).
How did you come to work with Nordlogic Software?
They contacted me through LinkedIn looking for new projects because we had a common connection through SharePoint development.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent 20,000 euros (approximately $22,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together between April–December 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m very happy with them and will book them for another project. The customer was also really happy as it was a startup idea, allowing them to go into business and obtain satisfied users. People are pleased with what it offered.
They’re able to develop in a lot of technologies. I can take more work now that I don’t have to do all the development myself. We always tested the products and the team fixed any bugs before giving them to the customers. They worked really fast when there were any issues.
How did Nordlogic Software perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication is perfect. They’re in Romania and I speak Romanian, so there weren’t any issues with their language. I mainly communicated with the project manager, using Jira and Skype daily.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They developed good quality products and responded quickly to my questions and needs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have no complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re very open to any idea. They key is to have very transparent communication.

Event Aggregation Web Platform Dev for App Developer
"Their communication was great — they understood what needed to be done."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a business partner of a software company in charge of strategy, growth, and partnership. We have a mixed offering of software development for bigger companies along with our own software product. In terms of skills, our focus is on mobile and some really basic web services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Nordlogic Software?
We only have mobile development experience. For one of the products we were developing, we needed a web platform, and we didn’t have the skills in our company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We contracted Nordlogic to work on our product. It’s a mobile app for finding events in different cities (that was our main idea at first, but now we’re re-thinking it). We’re working on the mobile side internally, and we used Nordlogic for the backend and web parts including the UX.
They built the backend aggregation platform for sourcing all the events we’d be promoting in the app. We use the web part as an administration panel for ourselves.
They used .NET on the backend. For the frontend, they mostly worked with Angular. We use that to manage all the events. We can add them, edit them, and so on. The product is still in development and not on the market yet.
What is the team composition?
Their CTO was our main contact person in the beginning. After that, we went to him for bigger architecture issues. We also had a team leader on the development team.
How did you come to work with Nordlogic Software?
We had some talks with providers, hoping to find one that would have the expertise and understand what we really needed.
Being in the same domain, we knew how to ask the questions. We were looking for someone to give us the right answers on how they’d build the architecture, and how they were looking to scale it up at some point. A nontechnical client wouldn’t have pressed them as much.
I knew Andrei (CEO, Nordlogic Software), and I knew that he had quite a lot of experience. He’d developed some great management skills on the business side. He seemed to attract people with good business and technical skills to his team because he knew both. This gave me a lot of confidence when starting our discussions.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $20,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Nordlogic in early-February 2019, and the first version was done sometime in mid-June of 2019. We’re thinking about working with them again after we’ve tested and launched it.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They came prepared with solutions about adding more servers and building a scalable platform. This helped our business and product in the long run. Scalability and architecture were the most important things for us. We knew that, if we thought this out from the beginning, it would help us lower costs.
The user experience of the platform is great. It’s something we didn’t put too much thought into (this is the first version of the platform), but they really surprised us by building a great UX and thinking through it. We didn’t request a full design, but they managed to do it just based on wireframes. The team did a great job on this.
How did Nordlogic Software perform from a project management standpoint?
The deadline we set was for mid-July, and they managed to finish almost one month early, which was great for us.
We didn’t really have a budget for project management, but they found a good solution. They added a technical manager to the team, with excellent project management skills. I think that was the main reason they managed to finish before the deadline.
Their communication was great — they understood what needed to be done. For instance, we had a talk with their CTO during our first meeting, and he asked us some really great questions about scalability, which we hadn’t taken that much into consideration. That was really helpful for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s their technical management. We’re all in the same industry, so it’s not that easy to impress us, but they managed to do that with their technical management team. They have a lot of experience behind them with numerous projects and big clients.
The most important part for us was the scalability of the architecture, and they thought about solutions from the early stages about how to tackle these problems.
Also, we were really impressed with their .NET capabilities on the backend. They have more than 10 years of experience in that technology.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. They’ve done a really good job on all sides.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
One piece of advice would be to listen to the solutions they propose and be open to their ideas. We gave them our trust, and they succeeded. The result was even better because of that.

AI Development of Mental Health App
“Whether or not you have the internal technical expertise, Nordlogic Software is a good company to work with.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of With Hope. We’re developing a stigma-free mental health app for users suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, and addiction along with other mental health issues.
What challenge were you trying to address with Nordlogic Software?
We’ve teamed up with psychologists and neuroscientists from four different countries to develop a mental health app based on cognitive behavioral therapy principles. Because we lacked the technical know-how, we approached Nordlogic Software to build our app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, we provided Nordlogic Software with an overall idea and specific parameters about the core fundamentals: the app needed to implement cognitive behavioral therapy principles, use open APIs, and have a flexible infrastructure that would allow it to attach to an existing HR system.
Based on our requirements, Nordlogic Software’s team delivered a development map—which our three partnering companies approved—before beginning the project. The app helps users privately regulate their mental health through journal entries, in a process we call “chart your life.”
A key part of the solution is a machine learning algorithm that they’ve outsourced. Once we reach at least 10,000 active users for three months, the algorithm will be able to analyze deviations in a user’s behavior and anticipate any approaching situation that might be detrimental to their mental health. It would then provide words of advice and caution that have been validated by our neuroscientists.
Currently, they’re going through the app to ensure that our technology is well-encrypted and follows strict medical data standards. They’re working to make the app HIPPA-compliant and are in the process of obtaining approval from the FDA.
What is the team composition?
The team consists of seven resources, including Ciprian (CTO, Nordlogic Software) with whom we engage in a high capacity; he’s definitely instrumental to our project. We’ve also interacted with Andrei (CEO, Nordlogic Software) and Ovidio (COO, Nordlogic Software).
How did you come to work with Nordlogic Software?
We’ve worked with them for about seven years, now. Originally, we found them on a freelancer site and noticed their high ratings. They helped us develop a website for a concept that I had, which turned out pretty well. Since then, our relationship has continued to grow, so it was only natural that we would approach them again for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $50,000 on this engagement so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in March 2018 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When dealing with sensitive medical data, it’s important to have an app that is future-proof against advances in regulatory compliance and technology. Ciprian has remained cognizant of our situation since the very beginning, working tirelessly to ensure that our app complies with current regulations. In addition to introducing encryption and other technical solutions that we would’ve never thought of, he and his team set up our app’s infrastructure in a way that allowed us to swap out components as new technologies emerge and older ones stagnate.
How did Nordlogic Software perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m absolutely thrilled with how they’ve handled our project. Although we have access to their project management tools, we don’t find it necessary to monitor their progress because we trust them to manage their resources. As for communication, I talk to Ciprian every other day, and he’s responsive to my inquiries.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Reliable and trustworthy, Nordlogic Software doesn’t disappoint. Even if we start with vague initial goals, they’re flexible enough to pivot to our shifts in direction. What’s more, we’re confident that they’re building the app in a way that allows for future growth worldwide.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t have anything to highlight. If we ever have to have a difficult discussion with them about a problem, the team is quick to amend the issue, which speaks a lot to their character.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Whether or not you have the internal technical expertise, Nordlogic Software is a good company to work with. They’re perfectly capable of taking a grand concept, distilling it to its minutia, and delivering an app that meets all the given requirements.

Custom Development for Local Authority Dev Shop
"They’re very advanced and use cutting-edge technologies, which has helped us to learn and evolve."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of product and operations at Lifecycle Technology, a local authority development shop.
What challenge were you trying to address with Nordlogic Software?
We needed help with solving a business issue which involved the development of a custom solution for Office 365’s SharePoint.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We already had a product in the market that did something similar, but working with it demanded being on premise. Nordlogic Software delved deep into details, taking the source code from our existing application and dissecting it so they could fully understand our business requirements. With this, they created a technical breakdown of the project’s requirements and deliverable items, providing an estimate for a normal development process as well as a fixed price option.
We began by taking the fixed price contract, and they stuck to the plan. The work consisted of building a solution for viewing the markup of drawings using CAD documents and all other forms of documents like PDF, Office, etc. It basically provides a single platform for all organizations using Office 365 to markup and review documents.
We wanted a deployable app for customers that would link to our backend systems and viewing technology. Due to this, there were a number of challenges around security and the security framework that’s implemented by Microsoft in Office 365. Nordlogic Software’s technical understanding of that was unparalleled. They were able to deliver the right solution that was robust from a security and functional perspective. It was also well tested.
They used Typescript with Node.js and AngularJS. We’re using Mongo, Neo4j, and more. It’s all micro-serviced. We’re also using Microsoft Team Services for deployment and to build pipelines. Nordlogic Software has helped us develop all the automation around deployment.
We have another product that we already have in the market with over 100 customers. Nordlogic provided the development resources and the project management for it, and it’s now live in production.
What is the team composition?
We have two project managers and two separate teams, one of which has five developers. There’s also a QA tester that performs lots of the positive/negative testing of the application.
How did you come to work with Nordlogic Software?
I contacted a number of different agencies previous to Nordlogic Software to get development support but received a cold email from Andrei (CEO, Nordlogic Software). I sent them our project documents and the response I got was completely different from all the other organizations that I’d approached previously. They provided a technical breakdown of the project and knew how they were going to tackle it.
Furthermore, they had the expertise and understood what it was going to cost, how long it was going to take, and what resources they believed they would need. Their constructive breakdown of all these elements gave me all the information that I needed. The other organizations gave us very little detail and said they’d have to get into the project before having a solid idea.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2017 and the collaboration is ongoing. It has been a really smooth process.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s been a great experience. They’re very talented and willing to provide a good service that’s focused around our deliverables and not their interests. Nordlogic Software really understands our requirements, and while they did challenge us on some of the decisions that we put into the specifications, the outcome turned out better than what we expected.
How did Nordlogic Software perform from a project management standpoint?
They provided a project management resource who really manages the work well and communicates effectively with us. They use Kanban for scheduling, which we review on a regular basis. Our team communicates with theirs consistently, and they’re always quick to respond. In case we need to, we can change plans quickly. It’s truly been a fabulous experience.
We usually find issues early and know what we have to do. The main difference in working with Nordlogic Software compared to how we’ve worked with other development companies in the past is that we’re fully embedded. My team in the U.K. goes to their offices in Romania three or four times a year, so there’s always a complete sense of unity between us. We’re also very culturally aligned and everyone gets along well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a can-do attitude and there’s rarely any pushback from their team. Their deliverables are well-thought-out and technically well built. They’re very advanced and use cutting-edge technologies, which has helped us to learn and evolve. We’re very progressive because of them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. They’re very committed and we have a great working relationship with them. For our requirements, it’s absolutely perfect. I’m looking forward to another year of ongoing support from them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
What’s worked really great for us is integrating the teams and not keeping them as a separate development resource. We stick to face-to-face communication as much as possible. They’ve also come to the U.K. regularly.
