TaskRabbit quickly became a household name in the US, driving scalability through an untouched market of same-day home services. They were looking for a new agency to lead their digital expansion across Europe as consumer demand continued to increase.

Focusing at first on Facebook & Instagram and then utilising a full Search Engine Marketing strategy with TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook to retarget and acquire fresh new buyers. Once we achieved targets set throughout the funnel in the UK, we then replicated and adjusted this territory by territory. Full service paid social for NOW TV
As Sky’s media social agency , we we’re tasked with two key year round objectives - customer acquisition and platform comprehension. NOW TV have a disruptive offering and it was important that we continued to drive knowledge of why and how the platform works with Gen Z and millenials across the country.
We utilised every department of Noise to create a full end to end customer journey across social. Using insight & strategy, creative, paid specialists and influencers we created a journey that would work organic and paid media as hard as possible to attract and retain new paying customers to the platform. We pulled together a range of fresh talent from actors, famous influencers and avid movie fans to create content that would start a huge social conversion
We created a handful of original videos and social first Instagram games that would promote original shows and movies on the NOW TV platform. From a Bohemian Rhapsody music video parody to celebrate the movie release, to an Instagram game story game that would take users on a journey through famous maps and movie sets. This generated a huge amount of social engagement naturally. Our paid social strategists then kicked in with a retargeting funnel that would offer different customers personalised joining offers when they take out a paying subscription.

Swisse Me UK Launch
Swisse contacted us to help launch their new direct to consumer brand ‘Swisse Me’ in the UK. The protein-centric brand had already achieved major success in Australia, offering on the go nutrition targeted at Gen Z and Millennials whose main goals were to be healthier.
Swisse had incredible recognition in Australia for its success as the brand ‘Swisse’ – a market leader in vitamins and supplements, but their audience was virtually non-existent in the UK. In order to create a successful campaign, we started by creating an always-on marketing funnel.
The priority was to educate audiences on how good Swisse Me’s product ranges were, using influencers and testimonials at the top, to stop motion and graphics at the base. We created personalized content such as exploding fruits to showcase the goodness within each product.

Apple - iTunes gift card strategy and reposition
Repositioning the Apple gift card and reminding users of its benefits and multitude of uses. Apple came to us to help shift perception around the iTunes and App Store gift card.
We wanted to understand public perception of the Apple Store gift card, so we ran an anonymous survey to get thousands of responses to better understand perception. Through doing this, we saw areas of misunderstanding and where audiences weren’t aligned with Apple’s intentions, with most users assuming this could only be used for iTunes.
In response, we created relevant and meaningful original content to explain how the gift card can be used in a multitude of ways and focused on getting consumers excited about different apps they can buy with the gift card and how it can help improve their personal interests.

UK Student Campaign Launch
Feeding 10's of thousands of students across the country. Just Eat, the nation’s favourite takeaway brand, wanted to be front-of-mind with students over the busy and stressful exam period.
Our objective was simple - to ensure they remained the most popular food delivery platform and generate signups and orders from the student community. We pooled together our expert knowledge of the target audience, deep insight, creative thinking and established student communities and came up with an irresistible, eminently shareable and completely unique campaign that was guaranteed to deliver!
Appealing to the senses was our first idea. Takeaways are a tactile and aromatic delight, and our research and brainstorming sessions dove into the qualities that make up a good meal. Above all, the tempting aroma emitted by a hot meal delivered to your door came out as the number one attribute of a takeaway. What if we could recreate that experience and bring it to students, wherever they happened to be?
This led us to our second big idea – the power of the imagination. Inspired by adverts for incredible technological gadgets shown on TV during our childhoods that sparked the power of our own imaginations, we dreamed up a world-first in technology – an app that would allow you to actually experience the irresistible scent of a takeaway through your mobile phone!

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the global PR & Comms manager for an online marketplace aimed at students.
For what projects/services did your company hire Noise Media, and what were your goals?
We wanted to increase our brand awareness and lead generation amongst the student community through social media channels.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The knowledge and expertise of the team to create a targeted campaign were a standout compared to competitors.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
The team created a scope of work based on the brief to improve brand awareness - using paid social media advertising as the focus. KPIs and timelines were agreed, and then the consultation for branding/content look took place. This was then followed by a two step content review process. This meant that the end product was of high quality and met our goals/campaign objectives.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We work with a wide range of the team.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have seen a strong performance from the activity.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow between the team and our in-house team is very cohesive. They communicate well, always go above and beyond to answer any questions or find solutions to challenges, and their content production levels are amazing. It's like the team are our in-house team, and that's hard to find for external providers.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We're impressed with their ability to be creative, think outside the norm, and deliver.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None.

“We’re really happy with our partnership with Noise Media — they’re a fantastic agency to work with.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of a student recruitment agency that works to place students in part-time work.
What challenge were you trying to address with Noise Media?
We hired Noise Media to help us improve our social media presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Noise Media runs our social media efforts — they’ve helped us rebrand our social media accounts on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter to help us grow organically. Noise Media runs our paid social media campaigns, creating new ad content and copy. We provide them with an advertising budget to split between organic and paid efforts on each platform.
Noise Media’s team also runs our PPC efforts, which have spanned Google, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. For each ad, Noise Media’s team delivers several ad ideas for us to choose from, and after a collaborative brainstorming session, their team implements the finalized ads. Their team also runs A/B testing to determine which ads perform better to optimize each campaign. They’ve also developed keywords that fit our business to drive traffic to our landing pages and improve our Google search rankings.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 4–5 teammates from Noise Media, including Cydney (Director of Partnerships), Megan (Paid Search Manager), Ryan (Creative Director), and Joe (Co-Founder and CEO).
How did you come to work with Noise Media?
We researched agencies that specialized in reaching a student audience, and Noise Media was well known for that. We looked at similar agencies, but because we share a similar ethos and they have a proven track record and are relatively young, we hired Noise Media. Also, their pricing was reasonable.
How much have you invested with them?
We invest around £5,000 (approximately $6,600 USD) a month with Noise Media. However, we scale our partnership up and down depending on the time of year — we’re a seasonal company, so we invest more during the academic year.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with Noise Media began in January 2017, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been working with Noise Media for several years and have seen an influx of new students — we’ve doubled our revenue year-over-year and seen more significant student retention. We originally started with 1,000 students on our platform, and we’re now up to 5,000. We’re really happy with our partnership with Noise Media — they’re a fantastic agency to work with.
How did Noise Media perform from a project management standpoint?
Noise Media has amazing project management — they work well together and meet deadlines. Their team is professional and speedy. Noise Media has complete control over our Google and Facebook portals, where they manage our PPC.
Most of our communication is through Google Hangouts, WhatsApp, and Slack and we use HubSpot to organize our project. We have monthly and quarterly reviews to check our performance metrics and ensure we’re not overspending or underperforming. I’m impressed with their communication skills; their team will reply to our messages within 1–2 hours of receiving them and sometimes instantaneously.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Noise Media is fully engaged with our company’s ethos and mission — they’re one of the best media agencies we’ve ever worked with. They’re a relatively young company and have worked with student-centered businesses before, so they understand exactly what we want to achieve.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We haven’t had any issues with Noise Media throughout the partnership, so I don’t have anything for them to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d advise customers to have clear goals and KPI targets before starting the partnership with Noise Media. Establishing those goals at the beginning of our partnership has definitely helped Noise Media achieve them.

What challenge were you trying to address with Noise Media?
We hired them because we’d been facing challenges with our digital marketing and user acquisition. We were looking to work with a partner based in the UK who could help us grow our user base and revisit our creative strategy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Noise Media is our digital agency. Their work covers a lot of aspects, primarily digital ads and PPC. They manage advertising campaigns across Google, TikTok, and sometimes Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, they create social media content for us. Based on their strategies and research, Noise Media has guided us to change our audience targeting strategies.

In terms of the sales process, we interact with Anthony (Co-Founder & COO) and Joseph (Co-Founder & CEO). As for the day-to-day, we work with their accounts management team.
How did you come to work with Noise Media?
They were our customers; they used our service and were big fans of it, so they reached out to us. They connected with us at a fortuitous time when we were already thinking about getting a new digital agency.
We had an initial call with Noise Media and briefed them on what we were looking for. They came back with a very impressive pitch about how they would approach the problem. We had some feedback on the pitch they addressed in a final call, and we decided to appoint them as our agency.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend around $50,000 a month. In total, we’ve spent about $500,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen a more engaged quality of users since working with Noise Media. Due to their research, we’re now targeting the UK and Ireland primarily, and we’ve seen better results for it. Our users’ lifetime value has improved due to how they’re targeting our audience.
We’re also seeing great results on TikTok. Their creative strategies have generated thousands of views on the platform. Through a combination of internal work and Noise Media’s advertising campaigns, we’ve gotten over 20,000 Tik Tok followers.
Overall, Noise Media has done a great job at performance management and efficiently administering our advertising costs. They joined us at a difficult time when we were having many challenges with our campaign results. While we haven’t fully turned it around, Noise Media has really helped us discover new ways to present our creative content. They’ve done an excellent job of helping us navigate difficult circumstances.
How did Noise Media perform from a project management standpoint?
We’re in direct contact with them every day on Slack and use Google Workspace to share reports. They work closely with me on a tool called AppsFlyer, a measurement platform for apps promotion. They’re brilliant at meeting deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re great people to work with; Noise Media’s people management and the culture of their team are really strong, so we have a great relationship with them. Additionally, they’re really effective content creators. Their creative team is really strong — we’ve been impressed with their output.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would only say they’re a small, passionate team, and they’re great to work with!

How did you select Noise Media and what were the deciding factors?
We searched and conducted an RFP process with both full-service digital agencies and paid social specialists. After a kick-off meeting and brand induction Noise helped map out a strategic plan for growth across paid social. This initially was with Facebook/IG within the UK. the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
We supply branded packaging to the hospitality sector. I am a Director in the business.
For what projects/services did your company hire Noise Media, and what were your goals?
This year we've embarked on our next stage of growth. The first element of this was an investment into our online platform. The second and where Noise are assisting us is to create and implement a full digital marketing funnel.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We spoke to a range of different agencies. The majority of proposals we received from these agencies were generic, and got to the "financial package" very promptly. Noise on the other hand really showed an understanding in our business, our growth plans & how we were looking to disrupt an industry, whilst also providing specific ideas and concepts as part of their proposal. In addition to this, the structure of the account and the specific individuals impressed us.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
Discovery phase consisting of sharing of key branded assets as well as onboarding forms, questions, KPI and CPA targets. This was followed up by a couple of meetings and a presentation of a discovery document. The next phase was the digital strategy and honed in on the specific part of the funnel, platforms and audiences we would be targeting; as well as the basics - ad account setups.
From a content perspective, we were presented with refined ideas both short term and long term. The short term ideas were then actioned with the aim of quick testing and iteration, to build data points and educate further content production. We are currently in this initial phase and are provided with full transparency and regular reporting.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Account manager, Marketing lead, Social Media Manager, Paid Google manager, Content lead & content manager
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We are in the early stages of our working relationship, in the "test and iterate" phase but so far they are hitting targets discussed. They've also driven revenue to us through introductions.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflows have been both very well structured whilst communication has been impressively fluid. We have structured bi-weekly reporting meetings but Noise have a great understanding of the nature of startups, are incredibly collaborative and often go above and beyond.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Not only are they are one-stop shop for all our digital marketing needs (incredibly important as we are very time poor) who are very well versed in what they do, but they have also developed a great understanding of our business from the off. They're personable, always show a keen interest, and have made introductions that have led to a new business for us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Very happy so far.
