I am a project manager at YIT. We are a construction and maintenance company specializing in housing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nimax?
We wanted to create a membership portal on which customers could receive information and services from our side.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Nimax built our platform. I worked with a project manager, and they assigned a dedicated person for every sector of the work, from design to programming. I didn’t have contact with the resources themselves.
How did you come to work with Nimax?
We made a search and contacted several development companies. Our tender included various criteria. We decided to work with them because Nimax was using a CMS which was very popular in Russia, and which connect well with our internal systems for billing and other functions.
How much have you invested with Nimax?
The cost of their work was around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Nimax in September 2016. The first release is in production, and we’re working on a second one, which is planned to complete by the end of October 2017. We will continue to develop additional functionalities.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We rolled out the first release of the site but it happened literally last week and at the moment I can’t share any statistics or feedback.
How did Nimax perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very good, I have never seen a formalistic approach or actions just to check the box from their side. They deeply analyze a task and provide all possible ways of realization.
What did you find most impressive about Nimax?
They have great analysts on their team. It’s rare case when customer’s disorganized view of a project transfers to a systematic and clear conception after one or two interviews with the analyst (who never heard about customer’s business backstage before).
Are there any areas Nimax could improve?
Maybe they are a bit traditionalists. In some cases, I’d like them to offer more advanced, brave decisions.

Our company sells and installs wood-burning stoves and fireplaces. We’ve been around since 2006 and sell our products online and in stores. I’m the founder.

We needed to communicate what we wanted to convey to our client. We had to describe our values. We didn’t just need a logo; we wanted an understanding of our brand. This was the most difficult part. Nimax also provided us with website development for both the frontend and backend of our site. They used a CMS that is known in Russia called Bitrix.
How did you come to work with Nimax?
I looked at a lot of sites and portfolios, and I talked with managers of companies. At the end of that, we favored Nimax.

What is the status of this engagement?
The project has been completed.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?
Most importantly, we now have a coherent idea of our brand. We build all our products and communicate with our customers based on this knowledge. We have not yet received feedback from our customers.

They had a clear understanding of the stages of the project. Although we weren’t able to meet deadlines for our development work, they were great with the branding and design work. They stayed in good contact. We relied on Skype and email to stay in contact.

We produce metal furniture for industrial companies in different sectors. I am the head of the marketing department.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nimax?
We needed branding and marketing at the initial level because the company didn’t pay much attention to that. The competition increased, so when I came to the company, we decided to come up with a marketing strategy, a communication strategy, and branding.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We started to work with them on research, looking at who our target audience is, what they want, where they are, and what we should do for them. Then, we developed the brand identity of our company as it applies to different media, including the website. They helped us with web development and brand identity development. They did coding along with HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, and PHP. We have two different sectors: business-to-business [B2B] and business-to-consumer [B2C], so we have a website for B2B and one for e-commerce. We wanted to change the platform because the site was not responsive for mobile devices, so we decided to build a site that could be accessed by smartphones and other mobile devices. We also needed a platform for maintenance and upgrades.

A new corporate style has been created that improved recognition of the company and its products. The new website corresponds to modern requirements for functionality and design. Both of the above have been positively reviewed by clients and partners of the company.

Projects were implemented in stages (e.g. research – conceptualization – development) with time points and costs for each stage. There was feedback, and when required, intermediate results got corrected. We received required services and support of the project results.

Mostly, people tell us they like the new design and the usability. All in all, they gave us a five - the highest marking in our system.

Personally, I had a perfect impression of their work. I had some previous experience with some other company, where we were really disappointed with their performance. They had millions of errors both on their manager’s performance and website performance. When it comes to Nimax, it was almost perfect, the issues were very small things.

They offer quite a complicated product as well as additional services. They always go deep into the project so they understand our needs as a client. They did a great job.

No. I think everything is fine.
