We are a museum operating in the United States.


What business challenge were you trying to address with Night Kitchen Interactive?

We've employed them in helping us bring our exhibits to life.


Please describe the scope of their involvement in greater detail.

We are looking to work with them in creating a digital interactive environment. Visitors will be able to interact with an object through an interface on an iPad or similar mobile device, getting more information about it.

We started our work six months ago, trying to figure out how technology can be best utilized for us. Night Kitchen Interactive is providing a custom solution for our needs. Their advice has been impeccable.

How did you come to work with Night Kitchen Interactive?

We started this project a couple of years ago, working with another design company. We ultimately rejected their services because they were putting the technology before the content. They wanted to install screens and decide what to do with them later, which was a backwards approach.

Night Kitchen Interactive first determined what we were trying to communicate, and looked for the best way in which to do it. Technology is a tool, not the final destination. We wanted it to be simply an improvement to the museum visit, and not the point of it.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

That is confidential.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together six months ago. The total project duration is estimated to be between 12-18 months.


How did Night Kitchen Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

We have had a number of meetings with Night Kitchen Interactive which have been open, comfortable and flowing. We discuss how we can get a certain experience across to the visitor. Matthew Fisher, their president, has participated in every meeting, taking a personal interest in what we are doing. He brings in a special sense of engagement. Even if we don't agree, he still listens to us, and finds alternative solutions.

Night Kitchen Interactive has a team that is always engaged with us and is confident in our ability to determine what is best for our visitors. They focus on bringing this vision to life, instead of telling us what is best for our visitors.

Is there anything Night Kitchen Interactive could have improved or done differently?

We're in the early stages and haven't yet produced anything, but I'm 100% satisfied with the collaboration so far.
