I am an outreach specialist for a digital security software company providing VPN service to our customers. My main responsibilities are SEO related and making sure to increase the company's growth on the search engine.

We are rapidly growing in the online sphere, and building links to our website has been more difficult. Therefore we were looking for an agency to help us increase our link-building efforts and help increase further search engine growth. That's how we came across Niche Inbound.

After multiple meetings, we asked Niche Inbound to perform a trial task and provide us with a batch of links that would appeal to our requirements. We do have quite strict requirements, which makes our link-building process tough, but Niche Inbound delivered a significant performance on the trial task and built links matching our desired criteria.

It all began with simply letting Niche Inbound team understand more about our product and how the company flows in today's market. This process led to then seeing a bigger scope, of what domains we could build and then finally getting a full grasp of how to meet our criteria.

Thanks to Niche Inbound, we were able to rank some of our English landing pages on the first Google search page. As it is becoming a lot harder to make an impact on the search engine, agency proved impossible is possible and helped us skyrocket.

Niche Inbound tends to adjust to their clients. We moved from email communication to using Slack, as that's something our company uses for internal/external communication and makes it more efficient. By doing so, they created a whole channel where they give updates on the progress of our link-building project. In addition, they created a document where they track progress and allow us to review the content before its set to be going live.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Communication with the team is flawless, and having to go from initial meetings to get the project going, took no time until the results started coming in. Niche Inbound adapts to the client's needs, whether in management style or communication, they perfectly align the two to deliver great results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are no apparent improvements that I could give them. So far, they have adapted to working with our company and meeting our needs perfectly.

We needed to improve the Google positioning of one of our websites for a specific set of keywords, so we decided to look for an SEO partner.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Niche Inbound has helped us improve our site’s positioning through SEO. Our requirement was pretty straightforward: we needed to get our site in the top ten Google search results. Thus, I first provided them with the list of keywords we wanted to use for our Google search positioning and explained what we monitored and how we monitored it. Additionally, we provided them with the policy documents they needed to follow so that if they spoke about us, they did it in a certain way.

Since then, Niche Inbound has been providing us with off-site SEO services. We do keyword research internally and provide them with that information. Throughout our engagement, we’ve also had several deep conversations about what’s going on in the market and the changes in Google algorithms.

I had tried numerous companies over the past few years, but I was still looking for a good partner. When I started looking again for SEO agencies to try, Niche Inbound appeared high up in the search engine rankings themselves, which was a good sign.

Thus, we contacted them and had a very frank discussion with them about what we were trying to achieve and which were the problems and limitations we had with our previous providers. Niche Bound was very transparent and honest in their approach and pricing, which we found refreshing, so we started working together.

We’ve spent around £40,000 (approximately $49,000 USD).

We’ve been working with Niche Inbound since September 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re very confident in Niche Inbound’s SEO abilities. Before engaging with them, our site was in the 200th position of search results for one of the key terms. Now, it is on the second page of search results.

We have approximately 183 keywords specific to our business, of which around 100 place us now in the top ten of Google search results. Additionally, our traffic has increased from 500 visitors per month to around 6,300, and our domain reputation has gone from 8–29, demonstrating significant improvements.

Still, we’re not in the top positions yet for the key terms we want to leverage, but the great work that Niche Inbound has done to improve our positioning is the reason why we continue working with them. We believe that they absolutely know what they’re doing, and we have a plan of how to keep improving. Thus, I’m very pleased with their services overall.

How did Niche Inbound perform from a project management standpoint?

Niche Inbound is highly responsive to our requests. On occasions, I’ve told them what they need to do with very short notice, and they still get it done. Their usual turnaround time is within three weeks.

Additionally, their team is very agile and accessible. If things change on our end or we spot other opportunities, they act quickly, and we engage in a conversation about the change within two days.

Overall, we have great synergy with them, and we work in a collaborative manner. We constantly communicate with Lee via email. If he notices something positive about our campaigns, he emails me immediately, no matter if it’s 1:00 a.m. He’s very passionate about what he can do to deliver results. Additionally, we share a Google Docs file to track the core metrics, and we have a phone call twice per month.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Niche Inbound’s transparency and honesty are excellent. When working with other SEO providers, there’s always the fear that they could potentially use black hat tactics that could penalize our site. However, we don’t worry about that with Niche Inbound, and we’re sure that the quality of their work is great. Overall, they excel at doing their job and delivering great results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initially, we talked with them about remaining in line with our voice brand because we were very concerned about how we talked about ourselves. However, they’ve rectified that issue since, and it is no longer a problem.

If you’re in a very competitive market and need a company that can provide results, I highly recommend Niche Inbound for off-page SEO.
