BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of SurfSmart. We’ve been around since 2012 providing WordPress websites and SEO.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Nexfresh?

We were looking for web development support for our business. It was hard finding developers in Denmark who could deliver on time.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve worked with them on a few projects. We were asked to create an event management tool for volunteers, doctors, and others for a group in Denmark. Nexfresh made a custom WordPress plugin to meet our many requirements. We wanted a solution that was our own and customized to our needs. People can use this tool post volunteer jobs in the city. It’s much easier than using email, which is what they had before.

What is the team composition?

They have 2–3 developers, but I mainly work with one person.

How did you come to work with Nexfresh?

I posted the job on a freelance website where developers can bid project prices as well as provide a short description of who they are. I chose Nexfresh because they were quick to get in touch with me were very professional. They also understood the project and were able to deliver a fast turnaround. Cost wasn’t a deciding factor.

What is the status of this engagement?

I began working with them in February of 2015, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The feedback has been 100% positive when it comes to their work. We communicate as though we work for the same company because they’re the main developers for ours’. They develop quickly and have been great from the start.

How did Nexfresh perform from a project management standpoint?

We just recently started using Freedcamp. There were some issues with project management on both sides because we needed to have a better solution other than Skype and email. Freedcamp has made things much more streamlined.

They’re great with communication and are also available on weekends. Their English is good and there have been no language barriers because we’ve used screenshots on Skype and email to help with communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Communication and fast delivery on each project have been the most impressive things about them. They sometimes do more than I ask for and see things from another point of view. It’s been great to have them as a partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only problem we’ve had was figuring out things within project management, but it’s been taken care of already.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re doing a great job. They know what they’re doing and have proved their professionalism from the start. Give them a good specification of the work you want, and they’ll deliver the best.
