We hired them to work on an integration of our mobile app with an e-commerce technology.

They integrated our API with the e-commerce technology's API. Python was the primary language.

They were recommended by another developer that I had been working with. I contacted them for a meeting and I really liked their work so I decided to start this project with them.

We started working with them in September 2019 and finished in September 2020.

The results were very good. They are very skilled and were precise with deadlines.

They met all of our requirements timely. Although we didn’t use any project management tools, we communicated via Whatsapp and Trello.

We had a good experience in general. They met all our expectations.

We hired them to help us to update and optimize our e-commerce platform. We used to work with another company that was focused only on the backend of the platform, but we needed someone that would help us generate an added value and an improvement proposal.

They have evaluated the website and generated different proposals. 

What is the team composition?

We work with 2–3 people who cover different areas of the engagement. One helps with things related to the management of the platform’s backend, another helps with projects related to infrastructure, servers, and configuration, and lastly, another works on new proposals and ideas to optimize the website's functioning and SEO.

They were referred to us. We decided to work with them because we really liked their proposal.

We started working with them around March 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

The results have been very positive so far. The first stage of the project of getting to know each other and setting up the collaboration has been very successful.

In the first stage of the project we had many adjustments along the way, but we managed to establish a clear road map and it all has worked very well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their suggestions and proposals always considered our finances. They not only work on a technology solution by itself but also consider optimizations and financial profits. I believe that is a great added value that not many agencies take into consideration. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is always room for improvement but everything has worked well, and whenever we’ve had any issue we have brought it up with them and managed to solve it.

We pay about $15 per hour for a senior developer.

We started working with them in December 2019, and our collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are very happy with the results. They were great at going beyond just developing the app they were able to think strategically and provided great consulting. The app worked great and was available right when we needed it.

How did NewBitCrew perform from a project management standpoint?

We used Trello and had weekly follow-up meetings. Our communications were very fluid and worked very well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They assigned someone to work specifically in testing, which is something that is usually hard to get from a service provider. That was an extra service that we didn’t expect.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes it’s hard to find resources, but that is something that depends on the local market more than on them.

I am the director at an online course sales and production company.

We manage all of our sales and marketing campaigns with a CRM software of our own. This CRM has an API, which adds all our leads into the system and gets to our operators. At the moment, we are also linking the CRM to manage students and courses. NewBit was in charge of this new integration.

The CRM was developed in .NET, although we have systems interacting with PHP and SQL, among others.

We’ve been working with between 3-5 people.

They contacted us via LinkedIn to send a proposal. At the moment, I was looking for a technology partner and after reviewing different options we selected them.

How much have you invested in them?

At the moment, we only have maintenance services of about $500 per month but the projects have had different costs. The last one we had cost about $5,000.

We started working with them in March 2020.

The results were great. They are a very collaborative team that’s professional and responsible. We had an excellent experience with them.

They met all deadlines timely.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We didn’t encounter any errors about launching the developments, which is very unusual on these kinds of projects. I was pleasantly surprised about it.

I can’t say anything. The project was very successful.

We have had different amounts of people at different stages but the average is three people.

When I started working at the company, they were already collaborating with NewBit but as far as I know, they started working with the CEO of NewBit as a freelancer developer. In the meantime, he started building his company and had provided very good results for our firm. He also passed different technical tests so we expanded our collaboration.

It has changed according to the project but we typically spend between $1,500­–$2,500 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with them for about three years.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results have been great. We have solutions that would have taken far too long to develop internally. They’ve made our process more agile and have developed very innovative projects for us. We definitely can see the results. There is a project, for example, that they started from scratch and is now billing about $5,000 per month for us.

How did NewBitCrew perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Jira, and they have integrated into our platform and have a very good management system. They’re very transparent and efficient.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are very trustworthy and we have never had any issues with them. Their skills are great, as is their ability to adapt to our needs. Additionally, they aren’t afraid of learning new technologies and new skills particular to our industry. They have been able to integrate with us perfectly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is always something to improve, but as I see they are growing now I believe they are on the right road.

They developed a mobile app that allows us to communicate with our subscribers, send notifications, and financial information. The app also sends this information into a web app so the user can consult all of this on the desktop. They selected the technology that best fit the project’s needs.

We work with at least four people.

How did you come to work with NewBitCrew?

They were referred to us and then we consulted and asked for quotations from different companies and freelancers. They were the ones that seemed like the best for our needs and budget. Since the first time we spoke, they were very professional, proactive and clear and those were things that we didn’t find with other companies we contacted.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around October 2019 and we’re continuing our collaboration.

It has been a good experience. The app they built allows us to speed up processes and be more efficient in our communications. Our users have had a very good reaction to the app and the results are great. 

How did NewBitCrew perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email, WhatsApp and phone calls. They are always available and flexible with our schedule and needs. They respond to all of our questions and requirements immediately.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They integrated our financial tools correctly, which was something we weren’t very sure about but they did it extremely well. Their work has been key for us, as it allows us to send financial advice with a platform of our own.

Honestly, I can’t think of anything.
