Introduce your business and what you do there. I’m the president of a company that manufactures equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We handle the North American market.

What challenge were you trying to address with New Perspective Marketing perform? Our historical way of marketing was through direct sales and manufacturer representatives. We had a website with product catalogs, and we were moving away from direct sales and into digital marketing. We hired New Perspective Marketing to help us make that transition.

What was the scope of their involvement? New Perspective Marketing helped us redo our website and develop content for it. They worked with affiliates and on white papers, seminars, and blog posts. To do all of these, they took us through a customer journey process and walked us through different ways to look at things we’d done in the past. This allowed us to open our eyes and learn how to change our website content and build awareness. We had four main product lines, and New Perspective Marketing worked through them systematically. They helped us create a content strategy, and we developed the actual content. At present, we’re still working with them. What is the team composition? We’ve worked with 6–8 teammates from New Perspective Marketing, including Kalynna (Client Success Manager). How did you come to work with New Perspective Marketing perform? Our marketing manager and sales director looked at several companies before choosing New Perspective Marketing. Our team liked their approach of spending a lot of time learning about our business. How much have you invested with them? Our investment has been around $75,000–$90,000 per year. What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in January 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The number of leads we generate has increased, and we’ve won a number of orders because of those leads. While our site traffic varies from month to month, the quality of said traffic is better — people are staying on our website longer. Our goal is to build awareness in the marketplace, and we’ve been successful in doing that. How did New Perspective Marketing perform from a project management standpoint? New Perspective Marketing meets our deadlines and stays within our budget. Kalynna has been doing a great job, and we’ve been happy with her. She works closely with our marketing manager to ensure that our day-to-day and month-to-month activities are done properly. For communication, our marketing manager has weekly meetings with Kalynna. We do quarterly business reviews, and I’ve talked to Nathan (Founder & President). He and I have a half-hour follow-up meeting every month. What did you find most impressive about them? New Perspective Marketing has helped us move our marketing efforts into the 21st century. They’ve presented a different way of thinking to us, and stakeholders are buying into it. They help us understand why we’re doing something in a specific manner. Overall, they’ve changed the way we approach the market. The only thing I would like to see more of is competitor bidding in SEM. We can bid on our competitors keywords for less than non-branded keywords. Aside from that they have been outstanding.

With their help, we were able to implement HubSpot, set up proper tracking across the entire tool stack of Google and HubSpot, understand our audience better, see our content gaps, build lead generation campaigns, and they also helped with web and design services. In short, they were able to get us the big picture in a short amount of time so that we can be confident in successful results.

New Perspective clearly takes a lot of care with their clients. We work with many of their team members depending on the work that is being done. We initially met with the president and director of client success. We were then assigned an account manager and strategic project lead. They offer their entire team to become members of your team. It's the most thorough experience I have ever experienced.

New Perspective doesn't just do great work. They do it in a timely and cost-effective way. They understood our aggressive goals and gave us the attention we needed to provide all the strategy workshops, documents, and assets needed to begin running a demand generation project. As we move out of this first phase, we are very pleased with what we have been able to accomplish together. It makes the road much more clear on how we will achieve our goals.

The workflow between teams is seamless. We meet once a week and they make themselves accessible whenever needed.

They designed our logo, established a color palette, designed and built our website, and set up our social media accounts. They also set up Hubspot and other marketing tools.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Nathan (President), Caitlin (Designer Coordinator), Mike (SEO/SEM Specialist), and Jared (Director of Production).

Internet search on qualified digital marketing companies within Massachusetts with manufacturing experience. Interviewed qualified companies but selected New Perspective as the most experienced and best fit based on their strategy presentation.

Starting with our initial meeting and going forward, New Perspective has suggested, planned, and delivered all aspects of a well thought out marketing strategy.

Our team was comprised of Operations Manager, 2 US sales directors and the marketing growth specialist.
