For what projects/services did your company hire NETGAINS, and what were your goals?

We had a basic outdated site and had no real SEO/SEM campaign. When we came across Netgains, they helped us get on track from creating the site, the content and managing all SEO/SEM related tasks.

They helped us get our rankings up and Sunny and his team have been a wonderful and stress less venture, something that I hadn't experienced in the past companies, it was always something that we had to press on, with Netgains, we truly are the ones that have to be pressed on now to get them info.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

There were no real options for local developers when we started with Netgains, we had other companies in the US, but were truly cost prohibitive for a small company, not only are they fair on their pricing, but consistent in their services.

We had a few meetings to discuss our needs, they set up a team focused on each facet of the project, with time lines a Project Mgmt site and clear steps on whom and what had to be done.

we had a key team leader and he had 2-3 key team delegates that handled all the details and steps to carry out the taks. We have built a few sites, the first one being the main one that took longer to execute, but all in all, their response, knowledge and guidance was key.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have saw a large increase the first year I believe over 70% and year over year we increase over 30% in traffic.

We had a project manager who handled all the details and lead the meetings, so it was easy to just meet with one person, but also the Principal of the company which makes it a true pleasure to work with knowing you are talking to the CEO is quite astonishing as they are doing big things and we were little fish.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The one on one nature, quick response and overall team effort that goes into their work. They are professional, consistent, responsive and forward looking.

I’m the VP of account management at Radd Interactive and Titan Growth. We do SEO marketing for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and large e-commerce websites.

We use NETGAINS for all of our development and programming services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NETGAINS does development programming from the ground up, and we have smaller tasks setting up e-commerce tracking and feeds optimization. The technologies we use depend on the client and their CMS. NETGAINS specializes in Shopify, but they do some work in Magento, BigCommerce, WordPress, and other major CMS platforms. The team also offers maintenance packages. 

Currently, we’re working on three migration projects that are going live; we’re moving websites from one CMS to another.

I only work with Sunny (Founder & Managing Director).

When I met NETGAINS in 2016, they already had a relationship with one of our salespeople. When the salesperson left the company, I took over the relationship and managed it for the better part of the last six years.

We’ve invested around $250,000–$300,000.

Our partnership with NETGAINS started in January 2016, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For measurable outcomes, we continue our long term SEO relationships, and we’ve had incredible success. Usually, migration projects go through turbulence because of the number of changes happening during the process. Most of the time, those are minimal with our work with NETGAINS. 

Meanwhile, even if some things go perfectly well, some things experience a downturn in performance, but these are usually short-lived. Between NETGAINS and our team, we can correct those issues pretty quickly. 

How did NETGAINS perform from a project management standpoint?

NETGAINS has been highly responsive. We don’t use a project management system, but we probably should use one in the future. So far, though, I’ve never had an issue with their workflow or timely deliveries.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Sunny’s responsiveness has been impressive, and we’ve had a great relationship. He gets things done on time and manages client expectations truly well, which is important for me. Some customers want the world for no money at all, and Sunny does a great job setting those expectations straight and managing them throughout the entire process. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Like in any relationship, everything comes down to communication and expectations. Let Sunny know exactly what you want and communicate it properly. If things deviate from your initial expectations, he’s great at accommodating changes mid-project.

Our company acquired another school and we needed to transition a substantial amount of content from one Learning Management System to another.

Netgains was highly recommended by one of our internal resources who has worked with them in the past. We needed a partner who was immediately available and had the resources and skills needed to complete our project under a very tight timeline.

Netgains used the data files that we were able to extract from the LMS of the school that we acquired and build conversion tools that allowed for that content to be very quickly and effectively converted to our internal proprietary LMS. They completed the technical conversion as well as quality assurance and fixes as needed.

We had a main point of contact who coordinated everything on their end, but our understanding is that there were several resources assigned to the project in order to meet the timeline that we required.

They finished ahead of an already tight schedule and the results were every bit what we expected.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent communication throughout the process, primarily via email. Regular updates were provided and communications were clear and concise. They were willing to meet live according to our schedules wherever needed.

They got the job done on time and on budget according to the specs we required!

We’ve been in business for over 20 years and sell product lifecycle management (PLM) and computer-aided design software.

We needed an overhaul on our website and had outgrown our previous provider. Our goal was to drive more opportunities our way and help our clients find us, so we hired NETGAINS for website development and updating.

NETGAINS provides web development and updating services for us. Initially, we had overview meetings so that they could get to know our target audience. They've used WP Engine and Google Analytics on our website. 

Since customers have to do extensive research to understand what they're looking to buy, we need a lot of searchable data on our website. NETGAINS helps organize and update that data constantly so that users can find the relevant information when looking for it. The site's content includes blogs and pages. 

Additionally, NETGAINS has built little solutions underneath the hood to make it easier for us to share events we're promoting and our activities, such as trade shows or webinars. We make edits, and they push them live for us. They also provide maintenance.

Sunny (CEO) is our main point of contact, and he has other teammates from NETGAINS who work under him. There are up to five team members on our account.

NETGAINS came highly recommended by a firm we worked with, and we decided to try them.

We spend an average of $4,000–$5,000 a month with NETGAINS.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

NETGAINS has helped us overcome a significant challenge with our website. For that reason, measuring their success by the site's metrics wouldn't be fair. Still, our numbers are improving now. 

How did NETGAINS perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is excellent; I couldn't ask for anything better. If anything, we're the ones who slow things down when we hit a wall in getting content from the software providers we work with. NETGAINS is right on track, gives us advice, and is always aware of our space. 

We meet with them weekly and use a project management tool to communicate, which keeps everything accessible to everyone. Overall, they're an extended part of our team – that's how we treat our vendors. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

NETGAINS does a good job of leading a fluid and fast process, helping us to keep everything updated.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing they need to do better. If anything, I wish we could afford NETGAINS to redo our website from the ground up. We could do other things with them, such as graphics, but we're not paying for those services.

The outcomes were consistent, reliable, and very positive. They were able to troubleshoot and resolve problems that other web dev agencies were just not able to do and they did so in a fraction of the time. We continue to work with them and the NETGAINS team is always eager to keep refining and updating what needs to be updated.

Workflow was timely and efficient. Problems and changes that need solutions are resolved quickly and thoroughly.

When choosing vendors to work with, communication and trust is paramount. The NETGAINS team was able earn my trust through various calls and explain throughly what they intended to do and when they intended to do it. Even after the project was complete, they still remain in contact with me and service my company's needs .

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

NETGAINS has delivered a well-designed, easy-to-use frontend, which makes it easier for customers to make bookings and pay online and eliminates all manual work and paperwork on the client’s side. The site automated the entire booking process; as soon as a customer makes a booking, they will then need to make a payment. Once the payment is online, it will directly go to the accounting backend. The website has saved the client massive amounts of time and money and doubled their online sales.

How did NETGAINS perform from a project management standpoint?

NETGAINS has performed well in terms of project management. They’re very hands-on — they always keep us and our client updated on the things they’ve done and where the project’s at. Everything is also done specifically according to the plan and delivered on time and within budget.

We primarily communicate through WhatsApp and video calls. We also use Mavenlink for progress updates and to keep track of all the ongoing projects that we have.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NETGAINS delivers on what they say they’re going to do, so I never have to chase them for a finished product. Their pricing is really affordable, too. I've never had any issues with NETGAINS because they have so much knowledge of what they're doing, so there are hardly ever any mistakes.
