Since the founding of Franz Morat GmbH in 1912, gear and drive engineering has been in a continuous state of development at the company’s headquarters in Eisenbach.
Framo Morat, with subsidiaries in the United States, Turkey, and Poland as well as a worldwide network of sales partners, is a globally operating manufacturer of high-quality drive solutions for many industries. I am a product manager and country manager for Turkish operations.
For what projects/services did your company hire Neocrea, and what were your goals?
Our global website was old. A new website was designed and developed. We needed an online web-shop that also works within the website but this online shop has to be integrated with our ERP system (SAP) in the factory.
All product specifications, stocks, prices, and lead times are communicated with our ERP system. We also developed our warehouse with a Kanban system integrated with a web-shop so all online orders are processed automatically.
How did you select Neocrea and what were the deciding factors?
Neocrea has the ability to communicate in English, German, and Turkish. That was an advantage for our development team. Leadtime was shorter than competitors. Total project costs were aggressively cheaper than competitors in Germany. Additionally, training for our personnel was free. Presented completed projects were successful and references were enough.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several meetings to explain all our needs with integration and new design of the website in four languages. Neocrea did some mockups to show their ideas with budgetary offers. We made a road map for the project together. Neocrea designed and developed all websites including web-shop and made the integration of web-shop and ERP system. After completing the project, they trained our marketing personnel so we could change or revise the website when we needed to.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team consisted of one project leader, two full-stack developers, one designer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The new modern website design was favored by our customers. Our web-shop sales hit 1mio.EUR at first year with our existing customers and we saved a lot of work-hours by automated order system.

We mostly communicated with the project leader regularly every week. Updating the status of the website and integrations. They worked close to our team. We used SkypeBusiness for communication, Jira for time plan & Gantt-chart.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their communication skills are high and energetic people. They would revise the project at any time just for customer satisfaction.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There was a little delay on-time plan, however, this delay could be caused by our team but they could force our team to be followed the time plan. Anyway, we were satisfied with their work.

For what projects/services did your company hire Neocrea, and what were your goals?
Ensuring that the break time of the staffs are followed by Rfid cards, and that the red light to warn the supervisor on the expriration of the time. We tried to increase the procutvity of the staff.

I’ve worked with Neocrea before and i trust their working style. When i had this idea, I knew Neocrea was the right place to go.

First, we discussed about requirements and decided how to make this project happen with several meetings. They share project documentation online. i can trace easily work progress.

We worked with 4 different team members which are 1 Project Manger, 1 Backend Developer, 1 Frontend Developer and 1 Software Analyst. They were well coordinated.

They’ve done great work. Emplyees have reacted positively to the project. and increase their productivty.

Neocrea used JIRA for our project that could us to see where our project was day by day.

We are satisfied with Neocrea's work.

They can improve themself at the UI design little bit but quality is fine.
There was an excellent response to the platform. The online store achieved €1 million in sales for the first year as well as significant time savings thanks to the automated ordering system. The team at Neocrea communicated well, keeping projects on track and striving to meet tight deadlines.
