Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the president and lead engineer of a small software company specializing in video game design, in addition to a variety of web applications.
For what projects/services did your company hire Neddaxs LLC, and what were your goals?
Our company was contracted to develop a minimum viable product for a digital vaccine card web application. We hired Neddaxs to help us build and deploy our contracted application. Though our goals initially were to simply complete the application for the client, it is likely that our company will gain some ownership of the application we built as well.
How did you select Neddaxs LLC and what were the deciding factors?
I have had the privilege of working with Neddaxs on other projects before, and it was an easy choice when selecting them since I have seen their incredible work ethic, impressive technical ability and scope, and extremely courteous and professional interactions with my clients and me.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Though our project's scope was rather limited due to it being an MVP, Neddaxs has helped us architect the app so that it can scale with time and use. Our application was built mainly using Next.js, TypeScript, MaterialUI, and neo4j. These technologies were selected for their ease of use, accessible scalability, and performance.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We mainly worked with Neddaxs' president, Tanner Scadden, who is also its lead engineer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
With the help of Neddaxs, our client was extremely satisfied with our work and has stated that we will continue working together, with a stipulation that we can keep working with Neddaxs! In addition, Neddaxs was able to successfully hit all deliverable dates and was prompt and clear when encountering issues and questions during the course of us working with them.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Neddaxs' project management style is very responsive and agile - they are able to work around our needs and those of our clients, and are very apt at successfully completing any requests we make of them. We've mainly used Slack and Gitlab with Neddaxs, but they are very flexible when it comes to communication tools.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Neddaxs has been knowledgeable on how to implement and build any feature or product we needed. The technical knowledge which this young company possesses is very impressive, but what I find more impactful is how willing Neddaxs' engineers are to learn new stacks and technologies to help us resolve our problems.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We've had an excellent time working with Neddaxs. The only suggestion I have is that they hire more engineers, so we can keep scaling and growing with them!

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of product development and operations for GGMS. We are a marketing and consulting company that helps residential real estate businesses to implement and execute the use of technology stack, including building out CRMs, consulting to get sales agents and operation staff to adapt, using software, setting specific objectives, and monitoring key performance indicators.
We also manage search engine marketing (SEM) and social media campaigns on behalf of the clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with Neddaxs LLC?
We were looking to create an internal utility that solved a very long and confusing process for our billing department when it comes to the way that we bill our clients for search engine marketing campaigns.
Essentially, the utility connects to our Stripe account based on us passing in an API key for the credentials. Then, we have unique identifiers for all of our clients as companies through HubSpot with a company object ID which is added to individual accounts and Stripe through metadata.
The use case is that we have multiple clients and when you think of clients as a company that has multiple partners who contribute to their marketing campaigns, as far as the media spin goes you can’t split billing in any capacity with Google or Microsoft ads.
We take in the media stand upfront and we process the billing of that through straight multiple partners for one client or company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Neddaxs developed a custom software for an internal utility that can explain in detail the insights of customers’ billing accounts. I scoped the project and delivered a wireframe and use case to the API. It was moderately detailed.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Tanner (Software Engineer).
How did you come to work with Neddaxs LLC?
I was referred to them by a server developer that I worked with. I connected them and sent the information to Tanner. He got me the quote back quickly within 24 hours.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent less than $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted less than one month, and it was done in February 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The utility worked perfectly and it gave a lot of insights that I didn't think of for the wireframe. It lets us pass in HubSpot the company object I.D., and it gives us all of the billing histories of paid invoices for the individual contributors to the company campaigns.
It also lets us see how much money they have paid for upfront and media spend on various platforms, so we can reconcile at the end of the month when we send out our reports for media spend and the results. The utility was deployed quickly and easily with the modern stack and typescript.
Customer satisfaction was also a good metric. People got their billing questions answered in a quick period of time and reduced the margin for error for accounts receivable.
How did Neddaxs LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated through a dedicated Slack channel, Asana to manage the project, and Zoom. Tanner was very communicative and answered my questions thoroughly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive aspects of working with them were the communication and the code. They used the most modern frameworks. It was a really great experience in terms of budget and time. The utility saved us many hours and errors when it comes to that particular use case for billing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t think there are areas where they could improve. It was a really great project, and it went very well.
Any advice for potential customers?
I would recommend being as detailed as you can in the case that you are looking to execute.
The end client has been satisfied with the outcome of the platform. Neddaxs has been prompt to complete the deliverable on time. They are accommodating and responsive to provide solutions in the workflow. Their team's technical knowledge and enthusiasm to complete the project are impressive.
