I’m the marketing manager of a travel company. We manage every phase of airline travel for our customers through our mobile app.

What challenge were you trying to address with NAV43?

We hired NAV43 to build and manage our PPC campaigns. They’ve also been involved in our SEO campaigns. Our goal was to increase our download rate, and we found opportunities in both organic searches and paid ads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NAV43 did the initial research and discovery process on each channel. They ran a gap analysis to find new opportunities on both our existing paid ads campaign and SEO. 

From there, they’ve helped us with the technical implementation of SEO best practices, including the creation of SEO-friendly content and content calendars. They also run our ad campaigns on Google, Facebook, YouTube, and app stores. Moreover, NAV43 has helped us with our branding and positioning. They’ve delivered brand guidelines and consulting services in this area.

Our engagement started in February 2023, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our download rates through the paid ads have improved, and our cost per download has decreased significantly. On the SEO side, our domain authority has jumped within a short timeframe. Overall, the NAV43 team has exceeded my expectations. 

How did NAV43 perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management skills are great and truly separate them from other teams. They use every project management tool from Jira to Asana. We’ve also used ClickUp and Notion.

NAV43’s project management is their biggest strength.

No, there aren’t any.

Be as transparent as possible in terms of your company’s history and progression. Give them as much historical data as possible.

We worked with NAV43 over a number of years on multiple initiatives to achieve a high level of brand awareness and generate leads with the right potential partners for our company. This was done through research and development of a highly customized marketing plan.

• Success was measured for brand awareness from google analytics and a number industry specific tools. For lead generation we measured the KPI’s for volume and fit.

NAV43 is highly effective when it comes to delivering on time and within budget. We have a high level of communication with dedicate point person that expedites internally not only within NAV43 but also our own organization. They work as an extension of your existing team.

Our company has been around since 1950 and I am the 3rd generation chiropractor and owner of the business now. We are a Health and Wellness clinic in Hamilton Ontario. We provide Chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, personal training, nutrition advice.

We hired NAV43 to help us navigate and migrate over to a new website. Our goal was to move as quick as possible to get our new site up and running and make sure everything ran smoothly with the new website.

I found them through google, I decided to go with NAV43 because they had great Google reviews and they looked like a talented team.

We started off with a phone interview where I explained what I was looking for and figuring out if they could help. After this interview I knew I was planning on working with this team. From there they set up a working plan including a timeframe of when this would be completed by. After that we had a couple more calls as NAV43 team started working on my project.

Each step of the way I felt included and knew they were actually listening to what I wanted. They utilized Wordpress.

I had a lead person who I was in contact with on a regular basis who would then bring what I was asking for to their team of experts.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

When our site went live we saw a 70% increase in conversions as well as a reduced bounce rate. Our clients express they love the look of our new website and find it much easier to navigate.

As per my request we communicated once a week via telephone call. the project manager would then communicate with the rest of his team after our call.

To be honest, everything went really smooth from start to finnish.

I’m the senior platform manager for conversion optimization and digital accessibility at a not-for-profit standards development firm with a for-profit testing and certification agency. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with NAV43?

We brought on NAV43 to help us improve conversion optimization rates for our e-commerce website.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NAV43 reviewed and analyzed our website and provided recommendations on how to alter it to improve our conversions. They tested and evaluated our usability, navigation, and information architecture. We ran several tests with them, including a tree test where users checked our infrastructure and project catalog. They also ran a first-click test to identify if we had vital information missing from our homepage. For that test, the user is presented with a task, and the software tracks where they would begin that task on our homepage. We wanted 20 users for the first-click test, 20 for the tree test, and another 6–8 for usability testing. 

Once testing was complete, NAV43 compiled their findings into a report and provided CRO recommendations. To support their recommendations, NAV43 leveraged our Google Analytics metrics.

We worked with Natalie (Delivery Manager), Almon (Search Marketing Director), and one other teammate. 

How did you come to work with NAV43?

We’d worked with NAV43 on an SEO project before — they were very effective and helped us elevate our website’s profile during that project. We did evaluate several companies for this initiative, but appreciated that NAV43’s team had CRO experience and had a teammate teaching at a local college. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $70,000 CAD (approximately $56,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

This project with NAV43 was from December 2021–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have any specific metrics because this project was focused on reporting the CRO findings, not implementing them. However, we will use this report to make changes to improve our CRO. Overall, I think the project was successful because we had 100% user participation based on our requirements.

How did NAV43 perform from a project management standpoint?

NAV43’s project management was effective — I’d give them a 10 out of 10. Every part of the project was communicated clearly, and their team was efficient and delivered on time. Typically, we communicated through phone calls, Google Meet, and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated ​​NAV43’s team and their personalities; everyone was easy to work with, experienced, and knowledgeable.

I have no recommendations for improvement for NAV43.

I’d advise customers to sit in on usability testing sessions with NAV43 because it provides more insights and awareness than just reviewing the final report.
